Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return On Asset (ROA) on the Share Price of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk for the period 2014-2023. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive and verification approaches, and uses secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statement. Stock prices experienced significant fluctuations with a decrease that occured due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the issues of boycott conflicts that affected the company’s performance. The decrease in CR and the increase in DER reflect unhealthy financial conditions, while fluctuations in ROA indicate the effectiveness of unstable asset utilization. The analysis results show partially that CR, DER, and ROA do not have a significant influence on the Share Price. However, simultaneously shows that CR, DER, and ROA have a significant effect on Stock Price.

Abstract

Foreign exchange rate fluctuations can cause significant impacts for companies doing business internationally. Losses resulting from fluctuations in the exchange rate can cause uncertainty and lower the company's profits. Therefore, it is important for companies to adopt effective strategies in reducing foreign exchange rates. This study examines various strategies that can be used by companies to reduce losses due to foreign exchange rates. These strategies include static hedging such as the use of forward and options contracts, as well as dynamic hedging approaches that involve active management of hedged positions. In the context of PT. X in Banten Indonesia, the use of static hedging in the form of forward contracts can provide protection against exchange rate fluctuations associated with the company's international transactions. A dynamic hedging approach can also be an effective option for companies to optimize their protection against exchange rate risk. The results of the study show that the use of the hedging strategy implemented by PT. X in Banten can help companies reduce losses due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, especially dollars, and can improve the company's financial stability. The results of the analysis of forward hedging data conducted in certain periods show that there are (positive) gains in 2021 and 2022, and losses (negative) in the difference between the results of the forward hedging and the actual BI exchange rate at the time of maturity in 2023 in a few months.

Abstract

The concept of work engagement is of paramount importance for organizations, since it represents the degree of emotional connection and dedication that employees exhibit towards their work. This phenomenon is distinguished by the manifestation of affirmative energy, fervor, unwavering focus, and a perception of being motivated while engaging in designated duties. The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of work engagement at PT SPSR and see if it is influenced by workload or work discipline. This study is classified as a population study as it has a sample size of 56 permanent employees from PT SPSR who were selected as research respondents. Data is collected through the administration of questionnaires using the Google Form platform. The chosen analytical approach involves the utilization of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the implementation of the SmartPLS 4 methodology. The utilization of this approach can be attributed to the constrained pool of participants and the need to streamline the procedure by eliminating the need for traditional assumption testing. The results suggest that there exists a non-significant and inverse correlation between workload and work engagement. On the contrary, there exists a robust and statistically significant correlation between work discipline and job engagement.

Abstract

As an agricultural endeavour, catfish farming has the potential to thrive with the right conditions. The allocation of land for fishing purposes is one such element. Catfish farming gives locals a chance to feed their families an animal protein source while also helping fisheries development projects succeed. This is a feasible financial option due of the widespread use of ponds. An increasingly common form of fish rearing is the simple act of keeping catfish in a pond. Because pond fish farming is still in its early stages, this provides a good opportunity to assess the potential return on investment. Examining the potential of pond-based catfish farming in Makassar City's Biringkanaya District is the primary objective of this research. We used the accidental sampling method to pick our responders. Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Nett Benefit Cost Ratio (Nett B/C), and Nett Present Value (NPV) are the data analysis approaches that were utilised to process these data.
