Abstract

Fire drill training in the workplace is very important to familiarize employees in the event of a fire. This study examines simulation training in dealing with fire emergencies in the PT MGA office building located in South Jakarta with 23 participants. With proper evacuation simulation training during a fire emergency, it is expected to minimize losses that can occur. Evaluation of the implementation of fire drills is needed to determine how the implementation of fire drills improves the safety of PT MGA employees and how employees understand the implementation of fire drills. In this study, the author used a qualitative descriptive approach and primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study show that the implementation of fire drills is quite effective, with the majority of employees understanding evacuation procedures However, several technical constraints and improvements to facilities and infrastructure such as the type of fire extinguisher, automatic sprinkler system, alarm and hydrant need to be followed up. Follow-up and further training are recommended to improve preparedness. Keywords: Fire Drill, Fire, Evacuation, Office Building, Fire Extinguisher

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the SWOT method in formulating marketing strategies for XYZ Express in the Rajeg area, Tangerang Regency, focusing on identifying internal and external factors affecting the company's performance. With the research findings, the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) score was 0.78, indicating the dominance of strengths over weaknesses, while the External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) score was –0.50, suggesting that the external environment is largely influenced by threats. The combination of these values places the company in quadrant II or ST strategy, where internal strengths are leveraged to address external challenges. The company's main strengths include fast and accurate delivery, competitive pricing, and real-time tracking services, while weaknesses are observed in limited promotion, payment method variety, and packaging security. External threats consist of intense competition, rising fuel costs, dependence on technology, and strict government regulations. Based on these conditions, recommended strategies include strengthening core services to maintain competitive advantages, diversifying services by adding payment options and enhancing packaging security, and expanding market reach through more effective digital marketing. Additionally, optimizing technology utilization, developing human resource competencies, and improving operational efficiency are necessary to reduce costs and adapt to external changes. With the implementation of an integrated and adaptive strategy, XYZ Express is expected to expand its market share while reinforcing competitiveness in the increasingly dynamic courier service industry. Keywords: SWOT, marketing strategy, diversification, logistics company, delivery service

Abstract

Mayora Indah Tbk is a company that produces various kinds of processed foods and beverages, one of which is Kopiko Cappuccino. Problems that arise in the production process still produce defective products, one of which is in the depositor work area. One method that can be used is to use the DMAIC method, the selection of the DMAIC method because many studies have proven that the DMAIC method can reduce DPMO and increase the production sigma level. From the data obtained from January to March 2025, there are three main types of defects in Kopiko Cappuccino products, namely nude sepet defects, incomplete nude defects, and double nude defects as much as 83.18% of the total defects that occur. These three types of defects are analyzed using a fishbone diagram with five main factors, namely machines, humans, materials, environment, and methods. Before the improvement, the DPMO value was 3620 for one million production, the sigma level was 4.18. Methods to control product defects in the depositor section include conducting improvement activities, creating a training schedule for workers, maintaining and repairing machines, creating depositor control forms, maintaining work area cleanliness, improving product monitoring, and modifying equipment. After improvements in June 2025, the sigma value was 4.34 and the DPMO was 2247.

Abstract

The production process in the manufacturing industry still uses human resources in working, there are manual handling conditions that can cause fatigue in workers. A worker's fatigue can affect the worker's attitude, where workers move in an unergonomic manner, such as working with the wrong body posture. As in the production in the plastic cutting machine manufacturing industry where the operator's long work posture activities such as standing, squatting, bending and doing repetitive movements can cause fatigue, discomfort, and pain in the limbs so that it is necessary to analyze the work posture to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) by using ergonomic analysis, namely the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method and the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. The results of the RULA assessment of operators showed a high level of risk, the assessment of grinding machine operators, lathe operators, milling machine operators, and welding operators showed action level 3, and the assessment of painting operators showed action level 4. Suggestions for improvement were made by changing the operator's body posture when working, such as grinding machine operators, milling machine operators, welding operators, and assembly operators obtaining action level 2 and the proposed body posture of lathe operators and painting operators obtaining action level 1.Keywords: Ergonomics, Posture, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), Nordic Body Map

Abstract

This research aims to identify and overcome the main obstacles in the production process of LED Classic lamps at PT. Berdikari Inti Gemilang by using the Theory of Constraints approach. The main problem faced by the company is the low production output due to limited capacity at certain workstations. The methods used in this study include bottleneck identification, capacity analysis, and the implementation of Drum-Buffer-Rope to optimize production flow. The results showed that the installation workstation SK-3 was the most significant bottleneck in the production flow. After analysis and improvements, such as adding buffers, standardizing work, and increasing operator work effectiveness, there was an increase in production output and a decrease in the defect rate. The overall implementation of Theory of Constraints has been proven to be able to improve production performance without the need for large investments in machinery or labor. Keywords: Theory of Constraints, Drum-Buffer-Rope, bottleneck, LED production, efficiency.

Abstract

In designing a company, one of the most crucial aspects to consider is the increasing utilization of Renewable Energy, particularly Solar Energy, as a substitute for conventional electricity. Based on this aspect, the author aims to determine the extent of the business opportunity for the proposed company. The growth of Renewable Energy usage in Indonesia has reached 147.02% in terms of Solar Energy adoption, with the implementation and utilization of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) increasing by 200% during the period of 2020–2024. This study aims to analyze the investment feasibility and business planning projection for a new company, PT. Panel Surya Gama Infinity. The analysis is conducted based on several key aspects, including: industry and competitor analysis using the PESTEL method (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environment, and Legal), market and marketing analysis, development of organizational structure and human resources, operational planning, and financial feasibility analysis. Financial projections are analyzed for the period 2025 to 2029 through income statements, changes in equity, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. The results show a Payback Period of 1.81 years, a Break Even Point (BEP) of Rp 8.37 billion, a Contribution Margin of 59.6%, and a Return on Investment (ROI) of 47.11% in the second year. These indicators demonstrate strong business feasibility and effective capital utilization. The company is projected to reach break-even in the second year and is considered financially and strategically feasible to run. Keyword: Business Plan, PESTEL Analysis, Payback Period, Break Even Point, Return on Investment (ROI)
