Abstract

Abstract.Happiness is one of the positive emotions that everyone needed, including students. Meanwhile, many students tend to be quite/somewhat happy according to preliminary study research in Institut Teknologi Bandung. This study aims to find the perceived happiness of Students in Institut Teknologi Bandung according to the level of Happiness Index and the factor of student’s happiness. The sample of this research is Undergraduate Students (N=400) by revering cluster sampling which are Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences, Arts, & Humanities. The research instrument was used a closed questionnaire adopted by the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire and happiness factor analysis. The data analysis used quantitative analysis by using descriptive analysis by Excel Program and using Statistical Analysis by using Principal Component Analysis & Ordinal Logistic Regression Method. This research found the Happiness Index Level of the Undergraduate students that most of the Undergraduate students in average are included in Medium Level; The difference of Happiness Index of each cluster; and the happiness factors of Undergraduate Students in overall and each cluster. Therefore, this research generates a recommendation for students, institution and further research to more considering the importance of happiness.Keywords: Happiness, Students Happiness, Happiness Factor

Abstract

Abstract. Ethics become one of the most important thing when we are running the business. The reason is because by doing business ethically we will gain trust. Those who done unethical issue will decrease other trustworthiness to them self or even worst will not have any trustworthiness. This mistrust issue already experienced by Gideon Mula Gabe Ltd. because of the indication corruption phenomenon that happened twice with different management team. By conduct this research, it will make reduction the mistrust of the shareholders. This research used James Rest ethical decision making 4 component models as the conceptual framework, Kohlberg theory of cognitive moral development as the parameter of the ethical decision making, and example of the unethical behavior which state in Ferrell, Fraedrich and Ferrell’s book. This research used phenomenology as the research method in order to understanding the reason of the phenomenon. The researcher found that there are 3 unethical behavior that have been done that related and created suspicious cash activity in audited report: financial misconduct, financial statement fraud, and corruption. Abstract

Abstract. Inventory management is an important component amongst the most vital segments in operation management, as this zone has been a central management function in material management system. It is likewise a crucial aspect of management, since stock is one of the significant financial assets of a business that can in indirect way influence profitability. This study chose Donat Madu Cihanjuang Batusangkar to be the example case study because this shop doesn’t have any inventory management. The study is done to give suggestion to the manager on the inventory management fit to the shop condition. This study is done using forecasting method and MRP. The objective is to decide which forecasting method and inventory method is the most fitting to be used in Donat Madu Cihanjuang Batusangkar. The forecasting method this study use is Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Holt’s Model, and Winter’s Model technique. For the inventory management, the study use Material Requirement Planning by comparing two lot sizing techniques which is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) with Reorder-point and Lot-for-Lot. The study is starting with forecasting the demand for five months historical data. The demand forecasted is in the period of days. After forecasting then the study proceeds to do Material Requirement Planning using the three lot sizing techniques. The result from comparing all four of the forecasting techniques is that the forecasting technique Winter’s Model is giving the lowest error compared to the other three. While between the two techniques, the Economic Order Quantity is giving lower cost. Based on the observation and the analysis, researcher then recommend starting using inventory management, if possible the one the researcher did in this study. And also, researcher suggest the shop to save the historical data be it demand, ordering, or finance data, as it will possibly be helpful in the continuation of the shop in the future.Keyword: Inventory, Forecasting, Material Requirement Planning, Raw Material

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this study is to find out what factors affect employee work satisfaction and what factors are the most dominant drivers of each generation of work. Focusing on Generation X and Generation Y as the most dominant generation in a company, this research will measure the level of employee work satisfaction in PT PP in Jakarta. This research is supported by the theory of Herzberg Two Factors Theory and Job Characteristic Model chosen to assist the researcher in conducting the analysis of this research data. Using quantitative methods, the researcher distributed questionnaires to employees at PT PP Jakarta to assess the level of job satisfaction indicator. The results obtained from this study are the dominant factors from each generation are different, the promotion of work for generation X and the salary for generation Y.Keywords: Generation X, Generation Y, Job Satisfaction, Working Generation, Motivation Factor

Abstract

Abstract. Forecasting plays important role in every business. Most of business decisions are made under the conditions of risk and uncertainty. A company could lessen the adverse effects of risky by determining the demand prospects for its products and services in the future. Same goes to inventory management. With good inventory management, it ensure that the materials would be available in sufficient quantity and at the proper time for production to happen. This research’s aim is to determine the appropriate demand forecasting system and material requirement planning for tuna tofu product of Nikmat Lestari Company. Nikmat Lestari Company is one of the pioneer of tuna tofu producers in Pacitan that already has their product shipped to Jakarta. For determine the appropriate demand forecasting system for Nikmat Lestari, the forecasting method used in the analysis involved Time Series Forecasting method. The forecasting method was checked using measurement of forecast error tools. After finding the appropriate forecasting method with lowest error, determine the appropriate material requirement for tuna tofu. The result of this research showed that Winter’s Model is the most suitable demand forecasting system for Nikmat Lestari Company because it produces the most accurate forecast result and least forecast error. For the material requirement planning, Lot-for-lot is the most suitable for Nikmat Lestari Company because it has lower cost compared to EOQ method.Keyword: demand forecasting, inventory management, Material Requirement Planning, Nikmat Lestari Company, tuna tofu

Abstract. These days advertisers are ceaselessly searching for better approaches to communicate with their customers. Advertisers attempted to characterize and clarify customer's intention by utilizing diverse models and applying different systems for enhancing brand awareness. Unintentionally, airplane can be utilized by an advertiser to be a media of promotion, it is generally named as inflight advertising. Airasia has been using Inflight Advertising as a media for a company to advertise its product, and currently PT. ULTRA SAKTI is utilizing along AirAsia’s cabin as their media of advertisement, the products of PT ULTRA SAKTI that are promoted along the cabin side are FreshCare, MADU TJ and Hot In Cream. This paper can help advertiser to insight about inflight advertising effectiveness. Using qualitative and quantitative approach to collect the data from the passenger of AirAsia. The data were obtained from interview and surveys on AIDA Model variables with Air Asia passenger. This research found that inflight advertising has significant influence to attract attention, trigger interest, stimulate desire and urge action. This research also found that most of the respondents of passenger AirAsia still remember about this inflight advertising. In addition, the perception is showing the positive sights. Researcher then recommend the company to give more emotional shopping experience, so when the passenger has already seen the advertisement, the passenger will also see that the company gives a kind of promos, discount or something that can attract.Keywords: Inflight Advertising, AIDA Model, Perception, Indonesia AirAsia, PT. Abstract

Abstract. Background: Challenges faced by companies today are the millennial generation that began to dominate the workplace and they tended to choose the others opportunities beside work in company after their graduated. In order for companies to be employer of choice for potential job seekers, the company needs to do employer branding. The aim of this study is to identify the determinants of employer branding in attracting ITB students as whole and also based on the faculty clusters to seek employment. Methods: This study using quantitative approach through questionnaires distributed to respondents by online media. In this study, researcher used Principle Component Analysis (PCA) in order to reducing the number of original variables and determining the right Employer Branding factors for final year Undergraduate Student in ITB. Results: After the reduction with PCA, there are seven factors formed for ITB as whole, six factors for Natural Sciences cluster, seven factors for Engineering cluster, and six factors for Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities. Conclusion: The findings of this study can be useful for HRM professionals in the develop employer branding in order to attract potential employee from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). This study also can help companies who targeted graduates from ITB to build desirable image that can fit with their value.Keywords: Employer Branding, Employer of choice, ITB, Millennials, PCA

Abstract. As online shopping is getting popular in Indonesia, the number of online shoppers in Indonesia is increasing. The population is dominated by female due to the increasing of purchasing power of female shoppers. With this phenomenon, bigger opportunities occurs for many women necessities industries to rise including online cosmetics industry. Despite the opportunities, the phenomenon also trigger bigger competition. In order to be the one who gives the best services, online cosmetics businesses must understand their consumers behavior. To understand the behavior, it is become a challenge for the businesses since the behavior is changing along the time. This research aim to to identify and analyze the effect of the external factors (perceived risks and trust & security factor) on online consumer behavior towards online cosmetics shopping. Through this research, the researcher also wanted to find out which factor is the most significant among the external factors. This research will be using quantitative approach and the data will be asses using path analysis on AMOS.The research revealed that all the external factors have negative effect and significant influence on online consumer behavior towards online cosmetics shopping. Moreover, time risk is proven to be the factor which gives the most significant effect among the others. The finding also revealed that there are actually linkages between the independent variables. Abstract.Background – The paper aims to help company to measure its customer satisfaction and identify which attribute should be prioritized for improvement through quantitative analysis of SERVQUAL and Kano’s Model.Methods - Data was collected using survey amongst randomly selected individuals from BPJS Pharmacy PT. Medika Antapani customer. There are two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was intended to measure customer satisfaction and the second questionnaire was used to classify each attributes into Kano Category. Further analysis by combining the results of two questionnaires to determine which attributes should be prioritized for improvement.Results – The result shows that there are 14 attribute of 16 attribute that has negative customer gap. It means that the customer expectation toward BPJS Pharmacy PT. Medika Antapani is higher than the perception. As for the attribute that should be prioritized for improvement according to Kano Category, there are 5 attributes that should be prioritized which are maintain speed and quality of service during busy time, provide enough seating for customer, employee always willing to help, employee have knowledge to answer question and polite and friendly employee.Conclusions – For better improvement of BPJS Pharmacy PT. Medika Antapanishould prioritized must be requirement attribute for improvement as customer see the attribute as basic service. The next one is try to reduce the customer gap between customer expectation and perception by fulfilling one-dimensional attribute. And as for achieve competitive advantage, BPJS Pharmacy PT. Abstract. Sunday school is a service ground that is based on the calling of heart and as a volunteer to serve God. This does not mean that Sunday school is a learning program that there is no foundation of vision and mission. However, teachers should have good self-commitment, competence, and teaching ability that meet the needs of the child. Church X Bandung has a training program set up to foster and support Sunday school teachers, but not running well. Actually the church often thinks that guiding the Sunday school teacher does not really matter, so that provide training with the concept that is not matching on target and the result in the performance or learning process is often happened. Therefore, this study aims to determine the type of competence that should be possessed by the Sunday school teacher and how to develop it in teaching and educating children to make Sunday school performance more running effectively. This research uses narrative method by understanding the perspective of resource based on story (narrative) about Sunday school from teacher, child, parent, and pastor that delivered through interview. The results of the Sunday school performance evaluation show that Sunday school teachers need training to improve the teaching quality. Researchers recommend a solution for Church X to conduct regular training to find out the competencies required of current teachers and how to improve Sunday school's performance.Keywords: Church X Bandung, Competency, Sunday school's performance, Sunday school teacher, Training.Â
