Abstract

Responsiveness is a person's ability to help and provide fast and appropriate service to every customer in the hospital. The background of this research is the decrease in the number of visits by Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) Kesehatan patients and Non-BPJS Kesehatan patients at the Outpatient Installation at Tk.II Health Hospital 14.05.01 Pelamonia. The purpose of the study was to determine differences in the perception of responsiveness between BPJS Kesehatan patients and non-BPJS Kesehatan patients in the Outpatient Installation of Tk.II Hospital 14.05.01 Pelamonia.Research Methods This research is a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 333, consisting of 317 BPJS Kesehatan patient respondents and 16 non-BPJS Kesehatan patient respondents. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to patients. The results showed that there were significant differences between BPJS Kesehatan patients and non-BPJS Kesehatan patients in Prompt Attention (p = 0.000), Dignity (p = 0.000 Autonomy (p = 0.046), Basic amenities (p = 0.000), Choice Of Provider (p = 0.000), Dignity (p = 0.000), and Access to social support networks (p = 0.000), and there is no difference in perception between BPJS Kesehatan and non-BPJS Kesehatan patients for Comunnication (p = 0.548). Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney test. Non-BPJS Kesehatan patients in Outpatient Installations have a better perception of responsiveness than BPJS Kesehatan patients. It is hoped that the hospital will be able to improve the quality of service without having to differentiate between BPJS Kesehatan patients and non BPJS Kesehatan patients

Abstract

Anemia is usually considered normal during pregnancy even though it has the potential to be serious and dangerous to the pregnancy because it can cause bleeding, shock, abortion, premature rupture of membranes, and post-partum bleeding. Minimal knowledge about balanced nutrition and foods rich in iron is one of the factors that causes anemia due to lack of nutritional intake. Pregnant women often experience iron deficiency so it is important to consume iron tablets as a substitute for the mother's needs, however, there are many obstacles faced by pregnant women in maintaining compliance with iron tablet consumption. Therefore, it is important to provide education about compliance with iron consumption in pregnant women. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of health education via YouTube regarding compliance with the consumption of Fe tablets among pregnant women at the Jatiraya Health Center and the Perumnas Health Center in Kendari City. This research method is experimental with a pre-experimental study research design with Pretest and Posttest one group design. This design only uses one group, namely the experimental group without a control group. The total sample in this study was 56 people. The sampling technique in this research used the total sampling method. The results of the Paired Samples T Test statistical test showed that there were differences in knowledge (P= 0.000 < 0.05) and actions (P= 0.000 < 0.05) in pregnant women before and after being given the intervention. So it can be concluded that education via YouTube is effective in influencing pregnant women's compliance with consuming Fe tablets.

Abstract

Health is a fundamental right that every citizen in Indonesia has and every level of society has the same right to the health services. This study aims to determine the relationship between geographical factors (distance, travel time and type of transportation) and economic factors, namely the economic ability to reach health services on the utilization of health service facilities in the Malino Highland. This research uses quantitative methods with a cross sectional approach which was carried out in July-August 2023 with a total of 114 heads of household in Dusun Balanglohe, Desa Kanreapia Village, Kecamatan Tombolo Pao, Kabupaten Gowa called Malino Highland. Data collection was carried out through surveys and analyzed bivariately. The research results show that the majority of households have not utilized health services in the last one year. Travel time and type of transportation are related to health service utilization. Meanwhile, distance, income and type of insurance have no relationship with health service utilization. The government and related stakeholders need to develop strategies to increase the accessibility of health services in the Malino highlands area. As a next step, further research can be conducted to explore other factors that may influence health service utilization, such as cultural factors, education, and community perceptions of health services.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) are one of the leading causes of childhood morbidity and mortality worldwide, with ARI accounting for one-third of under-five deaths in low-income countries. One of the factors that influence the incidence of ARI in toddlers is the exclusive breastfeeding and smoking behavior of parents of toddlers and in the neighborhood. This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and smoking behavior with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Turikale Health Center, Maros Regency. This study used a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design, with a population of 120 toddlers. Sampling was done using accidental sampling. The results showed that the variables of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.003) and smoking behavior (p-value = 0.000) were associated with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the Turikale Puskesmas Working Area, Maros Regency. It is expected for health workers to increase counseling related to exclusive breastfeeding and parents to keep toddlers away from smokers so they are not exposed to cigarette smoke

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) babies are babies with birth weight ≤ 2500 grams regardless of gestational period, whether premature or full term. LBW is a very complicated problem because it contributes to high morbidity and mortality, and can trigger chronic diseases due to instability of the baby's body in the future. This study aims to determine maternal factors associated with the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) in the work area of the Salewangeng Community Health Center, Wajo Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between gestational age (p-value=0.000), consumption of iron/Fe tablets (p-value=0.000), ANC visits (p-value=0.000), consumption of fast food during pregnancy (p- value=0.000) with the incidence of LBW and there is no relationship between parity (p-value=0.601) and the incidence of LBW. Pregnant women are expected to make regular check-up visits during pregnancy and implement steps given by health workers to prevent the occurrence of LBW by doing physical activity, taking iron (Fe) supplements given by health workers and not frequently consuming fast food when pregnant. can affect the nutritional status of the mother and fetus.
