Abstract

The level of community participation in village development activities is still quite low, especially in Sukanagara Village, Lakbok District, Ciamis Regency. This is evidenced by the lack of community participation in several development programs that are prioritized by the Sukanagara Village Government. The method used is a qualitative method, with data analysis techniques with triangulation of interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results showed that the level of community participation was quite good, which was indicated by the existence of obstacles in development activities in the village. These obstacles include: (1) the lack of community willingness to spend their time to assist the implementation of development, starting to reduce the sense of cooperation in the community; (2) not yet optimal donation of funds for the procurement of materials; and (3) lack of public awareness and concern to participate in maintaining development.

Abstract

Political parties have a role in carrying out the functions of political parties by Law Number 2 of 2008 concerning political parties, one of which is to collect aspirations and provide political education for the community. This research is motivated by cooperation between political party administrators that have not been established, the ability to carry out political education that has not been active, and the absence of attitudes that can be used as role models from party administrators so that researchers are interested in researching the role of political parties in providing political education for the community. Sukahurip Village, Cisaga District, Ciamis Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive research that aims to describe the role of political parties in political education in society. Data collection was done by observation, literature study, and interviews, so the data used were primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique was carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study indicate that political party administrators are more active before the general election, and political education for party administrators is very limited so the ability of party administrators is limited. The functions carried out by political parties are only based on instructions and the lack of political party activities outside the general election.

The second is related to where employees still need to improve their ability to maintain facilities in order to provide comfort to service users and are often late so that services are hampered. The third is related to responsiveness where employees are still lacking in providing innovative services so that they are still unable to compete with other parties but in responding to complaints and community needs are sufficient. The fourth relates to the responsibilities carried out by employees who are quite good because employees are always emphasized to provide services according to SOPs and are alert if there are donors who feel dizzy, nauseated, and swollen and are responsible until the donor recovers.
