Abstract

Learning physics in high school show not optimal results,this is caused by several factors, including student learning has not been able to connect the old with the new learning, and also teaching materials used are less variable and can not connect old learning with new learning, so that students the difficulties in  understand learning physics. The application of learning materials is modeled Advance Organizer can be used as a solution in solving the problem, learning materials which can increase the variety of learning materials, while Advance Organizer is a learning model that can connect the old with the new learning. Research type is Quasi experiment, the design of Randomized Control Group Design Only, while the sample came from the students of class XI Science SMAN 7 Padang, with purposive sampling technique sampling. The data of this study consists of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The data were then analyzed using the t test. The results showed that the working hypothesis that there is a significant effect of the implementation of learning materials are modeled Advance Oraganizer on active learning in class XI Science SMAN 7 Padang accepted level of 95%.

Abstract

The article based on research that title “Influence of using student worksheet oriented to constructivistic approach to the ability of the students in grade XI of senior high school 4 Padang”. This research based of demand curriculum to teaching and learning process is maximizing the students involment in the clasroom. The students can build their own knowledge not only by getting the final result from the teacher but also by doing another approaches. One of approaches is constructivistic. By those reasons, that is why this research was conducted to observe the influence of using student worksheet oriented to constructivistic approach to the ability of the students in grade XI of senior high school 4 Padang. Quasi-exsperiment research was developed which randomized control group only design. The population of the research was grade XI IPA in senior high school 4 Padang and sample was selected by applying purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were the final result test of study in cognitive, affective and psikomotor aspect. The instrument of the research were written test to asses cognitive aspect, observation test to asses affective aspect and check list to asses the psychomotor aspect. The data analysis for these three aspect was done by equality test of two averages which use t test that meant that the applying of student worksheet oriented to the constructivistic approach to the students final test of the study in physics in senior high school 4 Padang was about 0,05 in real standard.

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the minimal using of instructional materials that give opportunity for the students to learn from the real experience and find the concept of physics by themself. This study aim to look at the effect of the application of physics’s student worksheet (LKS) based on Novick learning model for learning achievement of eighth grade students of SMP N 8 Padang. The population quasi-experimental with randomized control group only design is all eighth grade students of SMP N 8 Padang. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. Analysis using t-test at 0,05 significance level for cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning achievement. The results showed that application of physics’s student worksheet based Novick learning model in learning to influential the learning achievement of students class VIII SMP N 8 Padang.

Abstract

Learning science which is done in integrated learning in junior high school level requires an evaluation instrument in accordance with the evaluation standard and based on ICT. Evaluation Instrument of integrated science based on ICT teaching is not yet available in the schools. One solution that can be done to overcome this problem is to make evaluation instrument of integrated science learning based on ICT in accordance with the authentic assessment guidelines. The use of evaluation instrument in integrated science based on ICT is expected to make the assessment proces more interactive, interesting and fun. The purpose of this research is to produce an evaluation instrument of integrated science learning based on ICT which is valid, practice, and effective. The type of research is Research and Development. Research design which is used for limited test is before and after experiment design. There are two kinds of object research, those are evaluation instruments of integrated science learning based on ICT and eighth grade students. The instruments are used to collect data are validity sheet, practicality sheet, and learning outcomes test sheet. Based on analyze of data, there are two results of this research. First, evaluation instrument of integrated science based on ICT has high validity with an average score of 85,24. The design of evaluation instrument of integrated science based on ICT has home, introduction, blue print, instrument, download, and additional menu such as chat and discussion forum. Second, the value of practicallity of worksheet by teachers and students each are 84,44 and 83,17. The Evaluation instrument of integrated science based on ICT is effective to increase learning outcomes of students

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the effect of the use of teaching materials loaded with character values ​​in cooperative learning model to learning outcomes TGT physics class XI SMA N 1 Padang.This is a type of quasi-experimental study with a design Randomized Control Group Only Design and population of all the students of class XI SMA N 1 Padang enrolled in school year 2013/2014 . Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The samples were class XI IPA 6 and class XI IPA 7. The research instrument is a written final test for cognitive learning outcomes, observation sheet for the affective domain of learning outcomes, and the scoring rubric for the psychomotor domain of learning outcomes. Analysis used two similarity test mean that the t test at the 0.05 significance level for the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.Based on the analysis of datathe results showed that there is a significant effect on the use of teaching materials loaded with character values ​​in cooperative learning model to learning outcomes TGT physics class XI SMA N 1 Padang
