Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada objek wisata Air Panas Pawan di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu untukmengetahui nilai ekonomi lingkungan dan melihat pengaruh pendapatan, biaya perjalanan, danpersepsi responden terhadap permintaan / jumlah kunjungan pada objek wisata Air Panas Pawan.Dalam penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 100 responden pengunjung pada objek wisata AirPanas Pawan. Metode analisa data yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodedeskriptif dan kuantitatif. Analisa kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan persamaan regresi linearberganda terhadap data yang dikumpulkan dalam bentuk angka-angka yang ditabulasi dalam bentuktabel kemudian dibahas dengan metode deskriptif.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, nilai ekonomi lingkungan dari objek wisata Air Panas Pawan denganpendekatan biaya perjalan sebesar Rp581.225.840,-. Dari hasil analisis, angka koefisien darivariabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan pada objek wisata Air Panas Pawan adalahpendapatan (X1)sebesar -0.103 , biaya perjalanan (X2) sebesar -1.077, dan persepsi responden (X3)sebesar 0.259. kemudian dari hasil penelitian juga dapat diketahui pengujian simultan (serempak)menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan, dimana pendapatan, biaya perjalanan, dan persepsiresponden mempunyai pengaruh secara nyata terhadap jumlah kunjungan pada objek wisata AirPanas Pawan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pengujian F hitung (97,609) > F tabel (2,68). Dari hasilpengujian parsial, hanya variabel biaya perjalanan yang mempunyai pengaruh secara nyata terhadapjumlah kunjungan.Dari hasil analisis data yang sesuai dengan uji,. Menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan pengaruhpendapatan, biaya perjalanan, dan persepsi responden terhadap jumlah kunjungan pada objek wisataAir Panas Pawan adalah 75,3%, sedangkan 24,7% jumlah kunjungan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainyang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Communication Competency, Self Management Competency, and Technical Competency toward Leaders Performance of PT. Drilinco, partially and simultaneously. For that purpose, the research is conducted by taking sample of 84 leaders of PT. Drilinco. The analysis model using the multiple regression technique. For the hypothesis test is using the statistical test such as t test, determination test (R²) and F test.The result shows simultaneously that Communication Competency and Self Management Competency are effecting Leaders Performance of PT. Drilinco significantly. But on contrary, Technical Competency is not effecting Leaders Performance of PT. Drilinco significantly. Partially test on each variables’ effects are Communication Competency (17,7%)and Self Management variable (27,3%), this means Self Management variable is the most dominant variable effecting on Leaders Performance of PT. Drilinco, meanwhile Technical Competency variable is not effecting Leaders Performance of PT. Drilinco significantly. PT. Drilinco must keep trying to upgrade leaders’ Technical Competency by giving continuous training and development, also giving extra attention on increasing the level of Communication Competency and Self Management Competency simultaneously to upgrade Leaders Performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of training, communication, andleadership on motivation dan performance of civil servants at Sixth, Seventh AndTwelfth Regional Offices of National Civil Service Agency.The population in this study were civil servants amounted to 240 people. 150 samples were determined by using Slovin formula with concordance rate 5% and taken by stratified sampling method. Data collection technique used questionnaires and interviews. The analysis tool used is SEM using SmartPLS version 2.0.The results of this study indicate that : (1) Training has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s motivation. (2) Communication has possitive and not significant effect on civil servant’s motivation. (3) Leadership has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s motivation. (4) Training has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s performance. (5) Communication has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s performance. (6) Leadership has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s performance. (7) Motivation has possitive and significant effect on civil servant’s performance.

Abstract

Investor often behave irrationally on investment decision making. Herding behavior is believed to occur in the capital market. This study aims to determine the effect of stock performance information on investment decision making with herding behavior as a mediating variable for investors who open securities accounts through the Investment Gallery at the University of Riau. The population in this study included all respondents' answers to the questionnaire that had been distributed through the google form. Primary data is collected by questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of research, to test the hypothesis in this study is to use path analysis. The sampling technique that has been chosen is an incidental method that is giving the opportunity to the entire population to be sampled but will be re-elected according to the characteristics desired by the author (142 investors who invest more than 1 year). The results obtained showed that, First of all, information of stock performance has an effect on herding behavior. Secondly, information of stock performance influences investment decision making. Thirdly, herding behavior influences investment decision making. Finally, herding behavior is able to mediate the influence information of stock performance on investment decision making. The findings of this study were investors have an information but they still behave irrational as herding behavior on investment decision making.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian tentang hubungan nilai tukar rupiah dan indeks harga pertanian terhadap investasi sektor pertanian. Rentang waktu yang digunakan adalah tahun 1994 sampai dengan tahun 2008. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keterkaitan  nilai tukar rupiah dan indeks harga pertanian mempengaruhi investasi sektor pertanian Indonesia dalam rentang waktu tahun 1994-2008. Hasil penelitian memberi indikasi bahwa nilai tukar rupiah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap investasi sektor pertanian. Sedangkan untuk indeks harga pertanian tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap investasi sektor pertanian Indonesia. Secara serempak, variabel nilai tukar rupiah dan indeks harga pertanian  berpengaruh terhadap investasi sektor pertanian.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of advertising creativity analysis,advertising appeal and credibility of endorser toward brand attitude on AndroidHandphone products in Pekanbaru. Inside The study consisted of a dependentvariable that brand attitude (Y), and three independent variables consisting ofadvertising creativity (X1), advertising appeal (X2), and Credibility of endorser(X3). Population of this study is the city of Pekanbaru with a sample of 300respondents aged 15-30 years with a criteria had watched ads AndroidHandphone. This study use a sampling technique that is purposive sampling andanalysis of research data using qualitative methods, quantitative and multipleregression equations with the help of SPSS (Statistic Services For Product andSolution.From these results obtained is advertising creativity, advertising appeal andcredibility of endorser on brand attitude of Androind Handphone product getsignificant effect in Pekanbaru city. This method of calculation models indicatethat advertising creativity, attractiveness and Credibility of endorser is able tomeet the forty-nine percents has influence on brand attitude and fifty-one percetsremaining are influenced by other factors.Keywords:Brand Attitude, Creativity inappeal,Credibility of Endorser.

Abstract

The population in this study as many as 110 people population in this study wereall employees of Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Pekanbaru are some places inAdrees Soebrantas as many as 24 employees, at White Sands as many as 21employees, branched Sudirman 40 employees, and in Hope Kingdom at 25Employee. So total sample at the Syariah Mandiri branch PT.Bank Pekanbarunumber 110.Because as stated Arikunto taking the entire population beingsampled, while the sampling technique used in this study by census (Arikuto,2007: 115).From the results showed that: 1). There is a simultaneous influence betweenvariable compensation, leadership and work environment on employeeperformance. 2). A significant difference between compensation and performanceEmployee.3). There is a significant relationship between leadership andperformance Employee.4). There is a significant relationship between workenvironment with employee performance.To improve the quality of employees needs to be identified and grouped under theconditions required in awarding compensation, leadership style and workenvironment so that it can decide what to do. a) .Agar created efficiency of workof monitoring and explanation of how to work effectively. b) bonuses, should beincreased back and expected payments do not always late c). Leaders areexpected to work in the company Grama effective in working according to theprocedure. For the Working Environment need to maintain this condition, if theneed to do increase. In terms of working environment the company has been ableto provide the lay out of the den, and prsarana adequate facilities so thatemployees already feel quite comfortable. The communication links alreadyestablished employees are also quite good. Bosses are expected to be moreapproach to employees in order to create a harmonious working atmosphere,open and better in order to increase the performance ofemployees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of executive character, executive compensation, gender diversity, political connections and debt to equity ratio on tax avoidance and earnings management as intervening variables. The target population of this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the observation period of 2012 - 2016. The method in selecting research samples used purposive sampling as many as 40 sample companies. Data analysis methods used path analysis technique. Based on the estimation results of WarpPLS 5.0, path coefficient shows that executive character, gender diversity, and debt to equity ratio affect earnings management, while executive compensation and political connections have no effect on earnings management. Earnings management, executive character, executive compensation, gender diversity, and debt to equity ratio affect tax avoidance, while political connections do not affect tax avoidance. It is proven that earnings management mediates executive character and debt to equity ratio to tax avoidance, while earnings management is not proven to mediate executive compensation, gender diversity and political connections to tax avoidance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Kampar, dengan tujuan untuk mengindentifikasikan di Kabupaten Kampar khususnya Kemiskinan di Daerah Pertanian dan perkebunan.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh identifikasi antara lain: Rata-rata tingkat pendidikan penduduk miskin masih rendah. Porsi tertinggi adalah tamat SD (46,23 %pekerjaan kepala rumah tangga miskin yaitu di bidang perkebunan (36kepemciikan laftan yang digarap saat ini temyata palirtg tinggi adalah laltan mil(49,78%), kondisi bangunan yang ditempati masyarakat miskin adalah ru(76,57%), sarana Pengohatan yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat miskin adalah P(74,08%), dan kemiskinan yang terjadi didominasi oleh karena tidak adan(66,90%
