Jurnal Metalanguage adalah jurnal ilmiah yang memuat artikel-artikel bidang bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang berasal dari hasil penelitian, telaah ilmiah dan kajian pustaka yang ditambah dengan penerapan pemikiran pada kasus-kasus tertentu. Ruang lingkup topik meliputi: 1) Bahasa Indonesia untuk Orang Asing, Bahasa Indonesia, Pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia; (2) Linguistik; (3) Linguistik Terapan, dan; (4) Kajian Filsafat Bahasa (5) Ilmu dan Pengajaran Sastra. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities during the current pandemic require the learning process to be carried out using a remote method with an online system. Evacuation of learning must also be done online during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the online methods in evaluating learning is the google form.The objectives to be achieved from this research are to describe the process of developing a google form-based question instrument for global warming class VII SMP/MTS and describe the results of products that have passed the validation process. This research is a type of development research, using the ADDIE model.The results of the study showed (1) the google form-based question instrument was included in the valid category of 92%. (2) 10 multiple-choice questions that were developed obtained 1 valid item; reliability 0.80 discriminatory power with good category there are 9 questions, namely number 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and questions with poor discriminating power are in question number 2; 10 items that have been tested are classified in the difficult category consisting of 7 items and the moderate category there are 3 items; 10 items containing distractors really work

Abstract

This study aims to understand the structure contained in George Orwell's Animal Farm novel and find out the various forms of hegemony in it. This type of research is qualitative descriptive using the sociological theory of literature. The data analysis technique was carried out by (1) identifying the data obtained from George Orwell's Novel Animal Farm (2) Classifying the data according to the hegemony of power contained in the Animal Farm area. (3) Analyze in the form of a description. (4) Summing up the results. (5) Writing a research report. The results of this study the structure of George Orwell's Novel Animal Farm describes the upper and lower social classes which involve the social background of the life of the characters. The upper social class consists of pigs, servants and followers of pigs (other than pigs). Whereas in the lower social class, namely the common people (other animals as ordinary citizens in a livestock environment). In the second result, there are 2 types of hegemony, namely domination by violence and ideological hegemony in a subtle way through various thoughts to incite others through words that can hegemony others so that other people will not realize that they are is in hegemony.

Abstract

In general, in formal situations high school students still have difficulty writing their ideas and ideas properly. This is also experienced by most students of SMKN 1 Sampang The difficulty in writing short stories is caused by 3 factors, namely: teacher factors, student factors, media factors and the techniques used in the teaching and learning process. The problems experienced by students include difficulty issuing ideas, running out of material, not knowing how to start writing a story, and difficulty composing sentences in good and correct Indonesian. The problem experienced by the teacher is that they do not respond to short story writing lessons so they are often skipped, do not use available media, are less creative in developing students' self-potential. Based on the description above, the problems expressed in this study are 1) whether the use of audio-visual media with self-concept techniques as a character in the story can improve the ability to write short stories, and 2) is there an effect of using audio-visual media with self-concept techniques as a character in writing short stories to changes in student behavior in the learning process of writing short stories. The objectives of this study were 1) to describe the improvement of the ability to write short stories through the technique of self-conceptualization as a character in the story using audio-visual media, and 2) to describe the effect of using self-concept techniques as characters in stories with audio-visual media in writing short stories.

Abstract

Saat ini teknologi berkembang menjadi kebutuhan bagi masyarakat terlebih di Indonesia. Banyak market place yang disediakan secara online dari pada bertatap muka langsung ke penjual. Barang yang dijajakanpun berbagai macam mulai dari kebutuhan primer sampai kebutuhan tersier. Banyak sekali market place online yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat seperti Lazada, Shopee, Tokopedia, dan masih banyak sekali. Namun, kecenderungan untuk berkonsumsi secara online ini belum diimbangi dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para penjual yang ingin menjajakan dagangannya. Para penjual masih minim pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana cara memasarkan barang-barang mereka dengan memiliki website sendiri. Kebanyakan dari penjual online masih mengandalkan market place yang sudah ada. Seperti observasi awal yang dilakukan di Plaza Mall Surabaya, kebayakan dari mereka masih mengandalkan penjualan barang secara manual kepada pembeli sedangkan jika ditilik dari permintaan pasar saat ini sudah banyak masyarakat yang beralih untuk berbelanja secara online. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisa penggunaan website “wix.com” kepada para pedagang khususnya pengusaha baju di Royal Plaza. Jika masyarakat ingin berbelanjapun untuk kebutuhan sekunder seperti baju dan lain sebagainya lebih memilih menggunakan teknologi tepat guna dalam melakukan berbagai aktifitas jual beli. Abstract

Di tengah arus zaman semakin maju dan berkembang, yang ditandai dengan adanya sebuah teknologi yang dapat dikonsumsi secara luas oleh masyarakat. Teknologi merujuk kepada pesatnya sosial media yang digunakan masyarakat untuk berinteraksi. Mulai dari Kaskus, facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube, dan lainnya. Melalui cyberspace dan media sosial seseorang dapat melihat idolanya dari berbagai penjuru dunia. Terlebih anak muda yang menggandrungi sesuatu, mereka akan mencari seluk beluk para idolanya. Melalui media sosial inilah sebagai bentuk wadah dan komunikasi mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan para idolanya dan mencari tahu karya dari para idolanya. Jika dilihat tentu budaya Jepang ini jauh berbeda dengan budaya Indonesia. Meskipun demikian, tidak sedikit yang mengonsumsi budaya Jepang, hingga muncullah para fandom (penggemar) yang terkadang mereka membentuk sebuah komunitas sehingga mereka dapat bertukar pikiran maupun berbagi kegiatan bersama anggota komunitasnya yang sama-sama menggemari idol grup. Berdasarkan pernyataan-pernyataan di atas, peneliti tertarik untuk membahas fandom dari sisi identitasnya dan menujukkan eksistensi mereka dalam dunia fandom. Oleh karena itulah, jurnal ini berjudul “Komunitas Wotagei sebagai Representasi Identitas dan Eksistensi Fanatisme”.

Abstract

John Amos Comenius with his ideas around universal wisdom, knowledge and education. Comenius is known as a figure of religious realism and modern education. An intertwined pattern. Realism is a philosophical school that has a broad scope. Realism is the view that all sense objects or objects are real and exist alone, without relying on other knowledge or sense awareness. The main purpose of moral education is the salvation of souls. Children must be able to learn to keep the heart inside and stay away from sin. God will offer salvation to His creatures, and His creatures must be able to determine whether or not to accept the offer. This will lead to a habit of making the right decisions. Comenius saw education as a unifying force for mankind. He believes that universal character or education can help maintain world peace. He also linked knowledge of divinity and believing that by acquiring knowledge, mankind was ultimately directed to God. Comenius also wrote about his way of leading teaching, he wrote, "Students should not be overburdened with lessons that are not appropriate for their age, comprehension power, and circumstances at the time". Comenius' educational ideas include: education for everyone, learning is natural, learning in easy steps, learning by play, and lifelong learning.
