Abstract

Data mining by applying the cluster model can use the K-Means concept as a clustering method. K -Means model application can be used to classify data such as the title of graduation students based on the amount of load studies, GPA, and graduation thesis. This research was conducted to find out the results of the use of the concept of K-Means on the determination of student graduation in order to get the results in the form of an analysis of the modeling. The problem of this research is to seek to model the concept of K-Means on the determination of graduation Students using Student Data of STMIK Palangkaraya. K-Means algorithm is used through three stages: initialization , the first iteration and the second iteration. The results of the modeling is the use of K-Means algorithm to determine student graduation to obtain analysis of the results in the form of 70 % could determine the appropriate graduation of 10 data were used as a sample. Modeling using the K-Means is one of the concepts to be able to classify the data, so the use of K-Means algorithm can be a reference for the development of a modeling study, especially regarding data mining.

Abstract

Acceptance laboratory assistant in STMIK of Palangka Raya is one example of a case in making decision.Lecturers who became a selector of a practicum lecture will do selection acceptance assistant to the student who has registered as a candidate for assistant so that the process undertaken inaccurate in the selection process. the role of information technology is expected to be used to assist the lecturer in the process of acceptance of a laboratory assistant, so as to speed up the process and can produce the best decisions about anyone assistants who is received so that made the supporting system of decision selection laboratory assistant in STMIK of Palangka Raya which use method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). To make this system uses a method of SAW and the programming language used is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, then the system is developed using development method of software waterfall with design tools such as DFD (Data Flow Diagram) , ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) and Database. With there is the Decision Support System that can be easier for STMIK of Palangka Raya in aiding the selection of a laboratory assistant so that can improve the quality of laboratory assistant.

Abstract

Computer-based learning system is now much improved, making the faculty more enthusiastic in making a model of learning so that students do not get bored easily. Physics is a subject that is grealty feared by students because the course is filled by counting, concepts and formulas. designing or creating instructional media. Learning physics is expected to be an interactive learning tool that can improve the learning interest of the user. This study uses R & D (Research and Development), namely the development of computer-based animation instructional media. Making learning applications of thermodynamics in physics to the concept of heat engines and properties of monatomic ideal gas is by using Visual Basic 6.0 software to design the application, Microsoft Access 2007 to design a database system for data storage applications, while Adobe Photoshop to design the image. The test results showed that the instructional media program for the display program, the suitability of the program with the teaching material, and technical quality were good. Based on these results it can be concluded that the program deserves to be a medium of learning and can be used in teaching Physics especially about heat engines and thermodynamic properties of monatomic ideal gas to high school grade XI.

Abstract

New admissions is a regular activity performed each year. Each year, an increase of students who will enroll. This is evident from the number of prospective students are always increasing and enthusiastic to register on STMIK Palangka Raya. The existing system is still not fully integrated and lack of network infrastructure for data exchange so as not supporting the effectiveness of the work on the new admissions. It is necessary for the design of the system architecture of the network infrastructure for integrating existing information systems so as to achieve the vision and mission of the College. To illustrate the design is based on a theoretical basis, using Edraw Max 7. This study uses a framework approach Shelly Cashman namely initialization and total cost of ownership (TCO), scalability, electoral process and security issues. The end result of this research is the blueprint proposed system architecture on Information Systems Admissions STMIK Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Android is an operating system for mobile devices based on Linux, versions of android is ever released Android version 1.1, Android version 1.5 (Cupcake) Android version 1.6 (Donut), the Android version 2.0 / 2.1 (Eclair), Android Version 2.2 ( Froyo or Frozen Yoghurt), and Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread). There is no problem of this research is to create a mobile application android-based library (library, case studies Palangkaraya Campus). This system aims to help students find the information collections, membership, books being borrowed and never borrowed, change passwords member, information libraries and librarians. The system is made using Eclipse, the Java programming language, PHP and MySQL as a media server that is accessed using the application The methods in this study includes data collection method (observation, literature, and interviews) and analyzed using analysis systems PIECES. Analysis PIECES have 6 (six) phases Performance, Information, Economics, control, efficiency and service. In this study has been conducted to test black box testing or testing program errors and the result of the program can be run to provide better information.

Abstract

Digital image processing is part of the technological developments in the concepts and reasoning, the human wants the machine (computer) can recognize images like human vision. Recognizing the image is one way to distinguish the traits that exist in the image. Texture is one of the characteristics that distinguish the image, is the basic characteristic of the image identification. Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) is one method of obtaining characteristic texture image by calculating the probability of adjacency relationship between two pixels at a certain distance and direction. The characteristics of texture obtained from GLCM methods include contrast, correlation, homogeneity, and energy. The extracted features are then used for identification with the nearest distance calculations (Eucledian Distance). The final results analysis program to identify the category of apples raw, half-ripe or overripe. Training data used are 12 images apple, consisting of 4 is crude, 4 is half-cooked, and 4 is ripe, 7 data used for testing. Testing GLCM with 00 angle feature extraction results of the test images can be recognized by a factor Eucledian Distance to the query image. Identification of test data is information all the data can be recognized. Eucledian Distance is a method that helps the introduction of a test object data.
