Abstract

The DAMRI bus or Djawatan Angkoetan Motor Republic Indonesia is one of the mainstays of public transportation for residents in the Bandung area with relatively low costs for the facilities with varied travel routes. The existence of this DAMRI bus is able to help increase the productivity of the community to fulfil needs. However, any of these advantages can be difficult for users of the bus service to obtain due to waiting for a bus for a long time. This is because the number of routes is not as many as other public transportation and there is a lack of information about the bus schedule for each route, so that service users can only guess the arrival time of the bus. This design is carried out by the observation method of collecting data on the experience of DAMRI bus service users through questionnaires, website-based software development methods, and literature reviews. The purpose of this design is to provide convenience to customers in accessing information on DAMRI Bus transportation through their smartphones or computers. The result of this design is a media route schedule information, routes, and costs of each route for users with a minimalist design and easy to understand is also used.

Abstract

Indonesia is the fifth country with the most diabetes sufferers in the world. This is influenced by an unhealthy lifestyle and then coupled with a lack of public awareness to check whether he has diabetes or not. The KNN (K-Nearest Neighbors) algorithm can be used to pr edict whether a person has diabetes. By using a dataset from the Pima Indian Diabetes Database, the data training process was carried out using the KNN algorithm and obtained decent accuracy results using a Jupyter notebook. From the results of the trained data set, it is then exported to be used in website development using the Python programming language. In the web application developed, the user is asked to input data on pregnancies (a person's pregnancy rate as long as he is alive), insulin levels, glucose levels, BMI, blood pressure, family history of diabetes, skin thickness, and age in the form of a slider. The input data is processed by the KNN algorithm to determine the outcome in the form of a positive or negative diabetes result based on the proximity of the new data entered with other data that has been trained.

Abstract

Video transcription can be obtained automatically based on the original language translation of the video maker's speech, but the quality of the transcription depends on the quality of the audio signal and the natural voice of the speaker. In this study, Deep Speech is used to predict letters based on acoustic recognition without understanding language rules. The Common Voice multilingual corpus helps Deep Seech to transcribe Indonesian. However, this corpus does not accommodate the special topic of urban agriculture, so an additional corpus is needed to build acoustic and language models with the urban agriculture domain. A total of 15 popular videos with closed captions and nine E-Books with the theme of Horticulture (fruit, vegetables and medicinal plants) were curated. The video data were extracted into audio and transcription according to specifications as training data, while the agricultural text data were transformed into language models, which were used to predict recognition results. The evaluation results show that the number of epochs has an effect on improving the transcription performance. The language model score used during prediction improved WER performance as it interpreted words with agricultural terms. Another finding was that the model was unable to predict short words with informal varieties and located at the end of the sentence.

Abstract

Wildfires are a problem with a high intensity of occurrence and recurrence in Indonesia. If this problem is not properly addressed, it will threaten air circulation in the world. The source of fire can be natural or man-made. As a preventive measure for the widespread spread of fire, it is necessary to investigate the type of fire early on so that it can be determined the type of fire with the highest priority to be extinguished immediately. The process of identifying fire types can be done by classification. This research aims to classify the type of fire with three algorithms, namely K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN), Naïve Bayes and Iterative Dichotomise 3 (ID3). The forest fire dataset was obtained from the Global Forest Watch (GFW) platform. Before entering the classification stage, the dataset went through a feature selection process, where attributes meeting the threshold were selected for the classification process. The performance of ID3 algorithm is superior compared to other algorithms with an accuracy of 65.83, precision 67.4, recall 67.02 and F1 67.21 per cent. Finally, the feature selection process contributes positively to the classification process, increasing the model performance by 2-5 per cent.

Abstract

The first technology to communicate with the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), but this technology can only perform close-range sensing and processing, in contrast to the Internet of Things (IoT) which can communicate long distances based on the Internet, while the commonly introduced assistive technology is Low-Power-Wide-Area-Network (LPWAN) which is a low power consumption technology but long range. One technology that is widely used is LoRa and its open access utilises LoRaWAN, because it has many advantages. There has been a lot of research on LoRa, LoRaWAN and surveys or reviews, but not many have focused on reviews for application rather than just testing. In this research, the author wants to conduct a review of the application of LoRa and LoRaWAN by utilising Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with the initial phase search getting 1314 and the final result is getting 45 studies taken from IEEE Explorer, ACM and Indonesian language papers (Google Scholar). Then the researcher presents a discussion related to the application of LoRa and LoRaWAN in several fields such as health, agriculture, etc.

Abstract

Technological advancements require educators to be more innovative in the process of teaching mathematics. Therefore, this journal serves as a renewal in utilizing technological advancements, especially in the field of education. The purpose of this research is to create interactive multimedia that utilizes technology to develop a learning application using Augmented Reality (AR). This research utilizes the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of concept, design, material, collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of a Unity application for the mathematical concept of spatial volume can be well-designed through its development method, enabling effective learning to achieve learning objectives.

Abstract

Oriented towards the PISA analysis report, the results of the literacy and numeracy abilities of Indonesian students are low and very concerning. Apart from that, there are other problems regarding the ability and interest in reading of Indonesian students which are still below average. The purpose of this research is to motivate and increase students' interest in reading. Therefore, we need a learning media that can encourage students' interest and reading skills with the help of technology, namely through the development and creation of an android literacy application "Kisah Si Jojo" based on Augmented Reality Unity 3D. This android literacy application "Kisah Si Jojo" talks about the importance of tolerance between friends. The research model used in this study is ADDIE with six stages including starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the research results it is known that the android literacy application "Kisah Si Jojo" is developing well and can be used according to its function.
