Abstract

Distribution is the delivery of goods from source to destination. Transportinggoods from source to destination requires transportation and distribution costs.Distributing goods requires cost optimization. This research optimizes costsusing a transportation model. Optimization is an activity to get the best resultunder a given situation. The ultimate goal of these activities is to minimize effortor maximize results. The transportation model is a model used to regulate thedistribution of sources that provide the same product to destinations that needit optimally. The transportation model can be completed in two stages, namelythe initial solution using the Vogel's Aproximation Method (VAM) and theoptimum solution using the Stepping Stone method. This study aims tooptimize the cost of distribution of goods from source to destination at UDYosarita. The results of the study using the Vogel's Aproximation Method(VAM) as the initial solution and the Stepping Stone method as the optimumsolution in April 2019 were Rp.4,615,000, in May 2019 Rp.4,810,000, in June2019 Rp. 4,910,000.

Abstract

There are several factors that cause maternal death, such as bleeding, hypertension, infection, prolonged labor, abortion and others. Maternal deathsrelated to pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium (42 days after delivery),and the number of deaths per 100,000 live births related to pregnancy ormedical problems (except accidents or incidents). In this study the case ofmaternal mortality using the Bivariate Poisson Regression model which aims todetermine what factors are the main factors in maternal mortality using theBivariate Poisson regression method.

Abstract

Rice is a food crop that is needed by the people of Indonesia, because the riceplant as a producer of rice that can be processed as a staple food for thepopulation in Indonesia. Factors considered to have an effect on lowland riceproduction in Langkat Regency are: yearend crop residues, land area, rainyday rainfall, seeds, and fertilizers. In determining the factors that greatlyinfluence the production of lowland rice, it is necessary to use multiple linearregression equations such as using the method backwards. That is, where all Xvariables are regressed with Y variables.

Abstract

Estimates are important tools in effective and efficient planning for predictingfuture events. Identical estimates of the future values of a variable for planningor decision making of a situation to estimate future values. Monte Carlosimulation is a simulation model that involves a series of random and samplingwith a probability distribution that can be known and determined, then thissimulation can be used. In this study, data is taken from the amount of waterusage in PDAM Tirtanadi H.M branch. Yamin, North Sumatra from January2018 to June 2019. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using MonteCarlo Simulation to determine the forecast results in the years that follow. Theresult is an estimated amount of water usage in 2019 and 2020 at PDAMTirtanadi H.M branch. Yamin, North Sumatra is 8,604,556 and 8,592,873. The estimated amount of water use is down from the amount of water use in2018 which reached 8,685,356. The amo

Abstract

Business in the shopping sector is currently experiencing very rapid progressThe phenomenon of the establishment of various supermarkets in big cities is achallenge for the people who keep up the wholesale. The purpose of this studywas to determine and analyze the differences in customer satisfaction levels inshopping in the minimarket. The methods used were questionnaire methodobservation method and documentation method. The highest value is in theclaim that the place is clean and comfortable, the quality of the layout is cleanand orderly, and the employees have a good view of what Alfamart has. Thehighest value is in the claim that the wholesaler has an affordable product pricefor all sections of the society, so that more consumers go to the Wholesaler tobuy goods in larger quantities.

Abstract

Basically, health comes from the word healthy which means well-beingfrom all diseases, both psychological and physical. Health is a source ofstrength for life because of the state of the body that is prosperous andfree from various diseases. Health indicators can be used to determinethe condition of public health in an area. Where there are severalopinions about the variables that make up the Public HealthIndicators. The condition of public health in North Sumatra which isnot homogeneous will make it difficult to develop a healthy city whenconducting monitoring. To eradicate this problem, it is very necessaryto group public health in each city and district. Based on the groupingrequires several methods, the grouping of public health in NorthSumatra in each city and district will be carried out using the K-Meansmethod where this method is very popular and the method is oftenused. The K-Means (Cluster Analysis) method is one of the nonhierarchicalcluster analysis methods that can be used to partition objects Into groups basedon the proximity of characteristics, so that objects that have the same characteristicsare grouped in the same cluster and objects that have similar characteristics. differentgroups are grouped into other clusters. The purpose of clustering is to minimize theobjective function set in the clustering process, which basically seeks to minimizevariation within a cluster and maximize variation between clusters.

Abstract

Theassignment problem is one part of a linear program which generallyincludes n tasks that must be assigned to m workers, each of whom hasdifferent competencies in carrying out tasks. The Hungarian method isone method that can be used to solve this problem. The purpose of thisstudy is to optimize employee assignments in terms of minimumoperational time in completing work using the Hungarian method. From the results of research using the Hungarian method, timeefficiency is obtained as much as 8 hours if employees in deliveringgoods on the NugrahaEkakurir (JNE) route are placed by the company, namely Ferdi assigned to Medan Tuntungan, Ichsan assigned to MedanSelayang, Riki was assigned to Medan Amplas, Fitriadi assigned toMedan Johor, Irvan was assigned to Delitua, Suryadi was assigned toPatumbak, Edward was assigned to PancurBatu, Citradi was assigned toKutalimbaru, Audi was assigned to Medan Baru and Widiyanto wasassigned to Sunggal.

Abstract

Currently, many breeders do not meet the criteria for the placement ofappropriate and correct livestock locations in the manufacture of cattle pens. This causes the cows to become sick often and many die, because the cages arenot clean and healthy. Cages that are not clean and healthy also have an impacton the community, especially those around the livestock location. The AHPmethod is used as a decision support system to determine the location of cattlethat are suitable for farmers, especially in the Deli Serdang area. The results ofdetermining the location of suitable livestock are based on parameters or criteriasuch as ecological parameters, institutions, human resources, infrastructuredevelopment, and technology and regional development.

Abstract

Every day the distribution of fish should be done given the high demand distribution. Order optimal travel route to the area of the destination to be estimated by courier in a one-time distribution. Estimated travel route that randomly causes less maximum time of travel and the high cost of so needed a solution where the route of the trip can be optimized to be more cost-saving and meminimalir long time travel at the time of the distribution. This research create a system to optimize the route of travel distribution. The method used in this research is using the method of the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH), which is a method for finding the distance smallest insertion of a new value by looping to form the optimal travel route. The system displays the results of the travel route distribution using a graph model. The results of the testing carried out from testing of the process of determining the route distribution in a Fish Auction Place (TPI) is a system of distribution of fish using the Method of the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic that generates a travel route that is optimal in terms of travel time and total distance distribution.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the yield from rice farming in Melati village. Theresults of the calculation of profit optimization using the simplex method. Thisresearch uses primary and secondary data. The problem in this study is the lackof capital and labor so that the results of agricultural income have not reachedoptimum due to the lack of raw materials needs by agriculture. The purpose ofthis research is to solve the problem of limited resources optimally by usinglinear functions and to find out how to apply them well in maximizing optimalprofits.
