Abstract

Distribution is the delivery of goods from source to destination. Transportinggoods from source to destination requires transportation and distribution costs.Distributing goods requires cost optimization. This research optimizes costsusing a transportation model. Optimization is an activity to get the best resultunder a given situation. The ultimate goal of these activities is to minimize effortor maximize results. The transportation model is a model used to regulate thedistribution of sources that provide the same product to destinations that needit optimally. The transportation model can be completed in two stages, namelythe initial solution using the Vogel's Aproximation Method (VAM) and theoptimum solution using the Stepping Stone method. This study aims tooptimize the cost of distribution of goods from source to destination at UDYosarita. The results of the study using the Vogel's Aproximation Method(VAM) as the initial solution and the Stepping Stone method as the optimumsolution in April 2019 were Rp.4,615,000, in May 2019 Rp.4,810,000, in June2019 Rp. 4,910,000.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari suatu usaha adalah untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal dengan modal dan biaya pengeluaran seminimal mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan penjualan kopi dengan menggunakan metode cutting plane. Pemilihan metode ini merupakan salah satu prosedur matematis yang dapat diterapkan untuk memaksimumkan keuntungan dan meminimumkan biaya produksi (penjualan) kopi pada Warung Bandar Kopi Deli Serdang. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, jumlah penjualan produk yang optimal yaitu espresso sebesar 48 cup, americano 24 cup, cappucino 11 cup, latte art  20 cup, V60 100 cup, tubruk 25 cup, sanger 453 cup, dan vietnam drip 40 cup dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 3.309.963. Sedangkan sebelum menggunakan metode cutting plane keuntungan yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar Rp. 3.262.537,5. Artinya terdapat peningkatan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 47.425,5.

Abstract

Heart disease is a general term for all diseases that attack the heart organ. Death from the heart at the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital was recorded to have a fairly high number. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Poisson Ridge Regression (PRR) method on the results of the analysis of deaths from heart disease at H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital Medan. PRR is a method that is generally used to estimate the regression of count data, and is very sensitive to multicollinearity. In this study, PRR was used to analyze deaths from heart disease in the presence of multicollinearity cases. The result shows that the estimated parameter of the PRR model is slightly different from the estimation of the Poisson regression model where the estimated value of the variable for patients with heart failure (X1) = 0,030751, the estimated value for patients with congenital heart disease (X2) = -0,002125, the estimated value for patients with heart disease ischemia (X3) = -0, 003085 and the estimated value of hypertension sufferers (X4) = 0,009689. The conclusion is that of the four variables, two of which have a positive influence on death from heart disease, namely patients with heart failure and patients with hypertension. This means that the more people with heart failure and hypertension, the more deaths from heart disease.

Abstract

Penjadwalan adalah proses mengendalikan, mengatur, dan memaksimalkan suatu pekerjaan serta beban kerja dalam proses produksi, yang bertujuan untuk meminimalkan waktu proses produksi. Penelitian ini berisi tentang penjadwalan produksi minyak kelapa sawit dengan menghitung waktu produksi setiap job, dengan mencari nilai makespan yang optimal di salah satu PT. Perkebunan Nusantara. Untuk megoptimalkan penjadwalan mesin digunakan metode GUPTA. Penelitian ini menghasilkan penjadwalan produksi pada mesin dengan urutan J2-J3-J5-J4. Dengan metode GUPTA nilai makespan (overtime) yang dihasilkan 920 menit sedangkan dari perusahaan nilai makespan (overtime) nya 840 menit.

Abstract

Drug abuse is using drugs without a doctor's instructions or prescription. Drug abuse is one of Indonesia's health and social problems, not least in the province of North Sumatra. North Sumatra Province currently has the highest number of drug abuse cases. This makes the researchers make a mathematical model of the distribution of drug users with educational factors with the SIRS epidemic model method. The first step is to modify the model, after which the equilibrium and stability points are calculated. The final step is to perform a numerical simulation on the basic reproduction number using the next-generation matrix approach. From the analysis results obtained two equilibrium points, namely the equilibrium point free of drug users and the endemic equilibrium point for drug users, but only one equilibrium point was analyzed. . Based on the numerical simulation, every population are stable near to the drug free equilibrium point at  , means the population of the drug addigt constantly decrease and on a certain condition will be non existent, and stable around to drug endemic equilbrium point at  , means the drug addict population will constantly increase so the drug epidemic occurred. From the simulation, it is found that the greater the rate of education, the more the number of vulnerable population with education will increase and the number of vulnerable population without education will decrease

Abstract

Water is a very important need for human survival, without water there will be no life on earth. Because of the importance of the need for clean water, it’s natural if the clean water sector gets priority main handling because it involves the lives of many people. There are many ways to get clean water, one of which is by installing the pipes of clean water will be done in Kwala Air Hitam Village. The issue of pipe installation this clean water can be overcome through the Minimum Spanning Tree approach pipe installation can be more optimal. Search for the Minimum Spanning Tree using the prim algorithm manually. The research aims to get a minimum cost of installation of clean water pipes through Minimum Spanning Tree uses Prim Algorithm. The Prim Algorithm is a algorithm in the graph theory to find a minimal range tree for a graph which is connected to each other. In the results of research the Minimum Spanning Tree using the Prim Algorithm manually is obtained in total the length of the pipe which will be installed is 9.806 metres with 52 points and 56 sides. And the first graph had 52 points and 59 sides with a length of the pipes are 9.969 metres. So, the minimum fee amount Rp. 1.732.850.000 (one billion seven hundred thirty two million eight hundred fifty thousand rupiahs).

Abstract

An increase in population will cause an increase in the amount of processed blood reserves. Therefore, it is necessary to forecast the amount of production within a certain period of time to see the number of blood bags that may be needed in order to meet demand correctly and in the appropriate amount. The method used is Mamdani fuzzy with data sourced from the Indonesian Red Cross Blood Unit Deli Serdang Regency from January 2019 to January 2020. This study shows that the Mamdani District fuzzy method can be implemented for forecasting the production of blood bags in January and February 2020.

Abstract

Scheduling the work of nurses, especially nursing in hospitals, is often a problem faced by every hospital. This is because there are many problems and there are limitations that must be met. So far, RSUD Drs. H. Amri Tambunn still uses the manual method in compiling the nurse's work schedule so that he often experiences difficulties and the resulting work schedule is still uneven and regular. This scheduling problem can be solved by coloring the graph nodes. One of the algorithms for solving graph vertex coloring problems in scheduling is the Tabu Search Algorithm. The Tabu Search algorithm is a method of solving combinatorial optimization problems. This method aims to streamline the process of finding the best solution to a problem. So i can get the conclusion that Tabu Search Algorithm can be applied to solve the problem of scheduling nurses in hospitals, one of which is in Drs RSUD. H. Amri Tambunan. Application of Node coloring by using Taboo Search results in more efficient nurse scheduling where there is no clashing schedule , meaning no nurse gets two shifts on the same day.

Abstract

The city of Medan is the city with the highest cases of COVID-19 virus among cities in North Sumatra. This study was conducted to analyze the relative risk level for the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Estimation of relative risk is a statistic in disease mapping that is used to determine the distribution of disease. Relative risk estimation can be estimated using a direct estimator model or Standardized Morbility ratio and a small area estimation model using Bayesian Conditional Autoregressive (CAR) with the Poisson-Gamma model. The Poisson-Gamma model is one of the models in estimating small areas in the form of count data which is suitable for use in disease mapping cases. This study aims to find the relative risk value as the basis for mapping the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the city of Medan using the Standardized Morbility Ratio and Bayesian Condition Autoregressive models. And look for the value of the Central Error Squared (KTG) / Mean Squared Error (MSE) as a comparison which model is more efficient in estimating this research. Condition Autoregressive models. Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penentuan faktor rmana saja yang berpengaruh positif dan negatif terhadap kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil pada PT.AJP. Langkah yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan  identifikasi  faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil di perusahan PT. AJP. Untuk menghitung nilai estimasi parameter jumlah kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil diperusahaan PT.AJP dengan model PRR.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendugaan parameter model PRR sedikit berbeda dengan pendugaan regresi Poisson. Dari 4 variabel prediktor, dua variabel memberikan pengaruh negative dengan nilai estimasi parameter PRR masing-masing -0,002898930 dan -0,001407629, dan dua variabel  lainnya memberikan  pengaruh  positif  dengan nilai estimasi parameter PRR masing-masing 0,004826377 dan 0,000522460 terhadap kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil.Kata Kunci : Kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil, Multikolinearitas, Poisson Ridge Regression(PRR). The study conducted a positive and negative factor on the loss of its kernel oil palm. The move would be to identify factors that affected the loss of the palm kernel oil in a pt. For calculating the estimated value parameters for the loss of palm kernel oild icorporate. Research shows that the guessparameters of the edic model berated and the application of regression poisson. Of the 4 implantable variables, two variables combined with negative impact with monetary value, respectively -0.002898930 and -0.001407629, and two other variables have a positive impact on projected parameters each of the PRR.004826377 and 0.000522460 to the loss of palm kernel oil.Kata Kunci : Kehilangan Palm Kernel Oil, Multikolinearitas, Poisson Ridge Regression(PRR).
