Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this article is to discuss customer’s loyalty as a complex dimension in consumer behavior theory. Customer’s loyalty can stimulate brand loyalty  describing a condition in which consumers have postitive attitude toward a brand, have commitment to it, and have intention to continue buying it in the future. Brand loyalty can be analyzed by two perspectives : behavioral persepective and attitudinal persepective. These are reflected in consumer’s actual buying behavior and consumer’s psychological commitment. Understanding these two perspectives are very important for marketers in  devising a competitive marketing strategy. Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of firm size, debt to equity ratio, board of commissioner size, and return on equity to full disclosure of annual report. This study takes sample from 23 companies in the property and real estate sector listing at the Indonesian Stock Exchange, which were published in financial report from 2007-2010. This research uses multiple regression analysis as research analysis.The results of this study show that simultantly there is a significant influence between firm charasterictics and full disclosure of annual report. Partially, firm size has positive sign to full disclosure of annual report. Meanwhile, debt to equity ratio, board of commissioner size and return on equity has negative sign to full disclosure of annual report. It means that firm size influences to full disclosure of annual report. Otherwise, debt to equity ratio, board of commissioner size and return on equity has no influence to full disclosure of annual report.

Abstract

A bank-firm relationship in the company occurs when the bank as a lender can obtain more extensive information from other parties. This study aims to examine the simultaneous relationship between bank-firm relationships and company performance. The sample in this study is non-financial socially responsible investment (SRI) firms listed on the SRI KEHATI index. The data analysis method uses two-stage least square (2SLS). The results of this study found that only multiple-bank relationships had a positive and significant effect on company performance. In addition, the company's performance also influences the company's decision to conduct multiple-bank relationships. These results indicate a simultaneous relationship between multiple-bank relationships and the performance of companies that implement socially responsible investment (SRI) in Indonesia. Multiple-bank relationships provide convenience to banks in monitoring companies. While other indicator such as company relations with foreign banks, domestic banks, the number of banks and the bank loan ratio (BLR) were not significant in the simultaneous relationship. The implication of this research is that a company can conduct multiple-bank relationships to diversify external funding sources, reduce credit constraints and reduce strategy failures.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba menjelaskan pentinganya perencanaan strategik yang harus dilakukan oleh sekolah menengah atas dan atau sekolah menengah kejuruan. Pengamatan secara sederhana dilakukan dengan memperhatikan visi dan misi yang disampaikan oleh beberapa sekolah menengah atas dan kejuruan yang ada di Pontianak untuk kemudian dihubungkan dengan teori-teori yang berkaitan dengan perencanaan strategi sekolah. Sekolah-sekolah yang berhasil mengembangkan perencanaan strateginya sesuai dengan visi dan misinya, secara umum akan menjadi sekolah-sekolah unggulan yang menjadi prioritas utama yang akan dipilih. Abstract

This research aims to examine the effects of family and state bank ownership on bank liquidity risk. The 20% ownership threshold determines the type of ownership, and the robustness test determined by the 25% ownership threshold, then bank liquidity risk is measured by Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). This study also used bank size to measure total bank assets, dummy listed or non-listed banks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) as a measure of bank capital. The data used in this research are panel data of 59 commercial banks operated in Indonesia since 2010 to 2016. Using multiple linear regression analysis with Generalized Least Square estimation, the result shows that banks owned by family or state have lower liquidity risk than banks that do not belong to family or state. This research can be a reference for The Financial Services Authority and Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation to establish strategies and regulations related to bank  liquidity risk.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Government Regulatory No.56/2005 urges the local government to adopt local financial information system (SIKD). Various information supplied by the local government is essentially a process of local financial accounting system  being set and presented in accordance with the government accounting standard. The aim of SIKD is  therefore to assist the head of local government to manage and assume responsibility the local finance in order to enhance transparancy and accountability in implementing good governance. If SIKD were being performed properly, the good governance of local government would be realized. Unfortunately, reality is still far from expected due to some concomittant problems.   Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Keuangan Daerah, Sistem Akuntansi Keuangan Daerah, Good Governance, Akuntabilitas.

Abstract

Public finance and economic growth can be regarded as important intruments in reducing poverty in most developing countries. The objectives of this study in to sheds light on the impact of public finance and economic growth on the poverty level in West Kalimantan for the period 2004-2008. This study uses descriptive-associative method. By using regression model, the results show that partially either public finance or economic growth influences positively and significantly on poverty level. Simultneously, both variables have an impact siginifivicantly on the poverty level in West Kalimantan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and ownership on company performance with moderation of corporate governance in trade, service and investment sector companies in 2016- 2019. The research data was obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and the annual financial reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The total sample obtained based on the purposive sampling method was 76 samples and tested using the Eviews 9 analysis tool. The analysis technique used panel data regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Capital structure and corporate governance as proxied by the role of independent commissioners are proven to improve company performance. The implication of this research is to provide empirical evidence regarding the role of corporate governance in moderating capital structure and ownership structure on company performance. The use of debt in the capital structure can have a positive influence on the company's performance. So the applied implication for the company is that it can increase debt in its capital structure by taking into account the optimal point. In addition, companies can optimize the role of independent commissioners as corporate governance to improve supervision within the company so as to improve company performance.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh struktur modal dan kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan moderasi corporate governance pada perusahaan sektor perdagangan, jasa dan investasi tahun 2016-2019. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) dan laporan keuangan tahunan yang tercatat pada Bursa Efek Indonesia. Total sampel diperoleh berdasarkan metode pengumpulan data purposive sampling adalah sebanyak 76 sampel dan diuji menggunakan alat analisis Eviews 9. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Variabel struktur modal serta variabel moderasi corporate governance yang diproksikan dengan peran komisaris independen terbukti dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan bukti secara empiris terkait peran corporate governance dalam memoderasi struktur modal dan struktur kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Penggunaan utang pada struktur modal mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Maka implikasi terapan bagi perusahaan yaitu dapat meningkatkan utang pada struktur modalnya dengan memperhatikan titik optimal. Selain itu, perusahaan dapat mengoptimalkan peran komisaris independen sebagai corporate governance untuk meningkatkan pengawasan dalam perusahaan sehingga meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan.JEL : G30, G32, G34

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of profitability, firm"™s size, and dividend payout ratio towards firm"™s value with the capital structure as the intervening variable. The samples employed were the manufacturing companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2018. The statistic method used to investigate the hypothesis was a path analysis. The result of the hypothesis investigation proved that the profitability brought significant negative influence towards capital structure, the firm"™s size and dividend payout ratio brought insignificant influence towards capital structure; the profitability, firm"™s size, dividend payout ratio, and capital structure brought significant positive influence towards the firm"™s value. On the other hand, the intervening testing results proved that the capital structure intervened in the influence of the profitability towards the firm"™s value, and the capital structure did not intervened in the influence of the firm"™s size and dividend payout ratio towards the firm"™s value. Being able to pick stocks with profitability value and high dividend payout ratio and choosing a large-scale company are the research implications for investors to scale up the firm"™s value. Furthermore, companies can increase profitability, pay higher dividend, and choose a large-scale company by balancing the capital structure, so that firm"™s value increases.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEntrepreneurship is one of the efforts to advance the economy in Indonesia. However, the phenomenon that occurs in this country is still low the number of entrepreneurs. According to Lutje and Franke's model (LFM), there are internal and external factors in fostering interest in entrepreneurship. Therefore, this research wants to determine how significant the internal and external factors toward the entrepreneurial intention. This research aims to find out and analyze the effect of entrepreneurial education, personality, and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. There are four variables in this research, that is, entrepreneurial education (X1), personality (X2), self-efficacy (X3), and entrepreneurial intention (Y). The method in this research is a quantitative method by distributing an online questionnaire. The sample in this research is Universitas Ciputra students majoring in the 2017 batch of International Business Management who chose start-up guild with 152 respondents. This research indicates that entrepreneurial education and self-efficacy affect positive and significant entrepreneurial intention, whereas personality does not affect entrepreneurial intention. The conclusion is that entrepreneurial education provided by Universitas Ciputra has succeeded in increasing entrepreneurial intention, and self-efficacy is also able to encourage students in entrepreneurship. In contrast, student personality factors do not affect entrepreneurial intention.ABSTRAKBerwirausaha adalah salah satu upaya dalam memajukan ekonomi di Indonesia. Namun fenomena yang terjadi di negeri ini adalah masih rendahnya jumlah wirausahawan di Indonesia. Seorang wirausahawan harus di dorong oleh berbagai faktor agar memiliki minat berwirausaha sehingga dapat menjalankan bisnisnya. Menurut Luthje and Franke"™s model (LFM) terdapat faktor internal dan eksternal dalam menumbuhkan minat dalam berwirausaha. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini ingin mengetahui seberapa besar faktor internal dan eksternal tersebut terhadap minat berwirausaha. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurial education, personality dan self-efficacy terhadap minat berwirausaha. Terdapat 4 variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu: entrepreneurial education (X1), personality (X2), self-efficacy (X3) dan minat berwirausaha (Y). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuisioner secara online. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra jurusan international business management angkatan 2017 yang memilih guild start-up dengan jumlah 152 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa entrepreneurial education dan self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha sedangkan personality tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha. Kesimpulannya adalah entrepreneurial education yang diberikan Universitas Ciputra telah berhasil dalam meningkatkan minat berwirausaha dan self-efficacy juga mampu mendorong mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha sedangkan faktor personality mahasiswa tidak mempengaruhi dalam penumbuhan minat berwirausaha.
