Abstract

The purpose of this paper/paper is to present pragmatically the implementation of integrated quality management (MMT), also known as Total Quality Management (TQM) in the Islamic education system. The presentation of this paper is supported by various research-related results and critical analysis of the management system of Islamic Education which is generally implemented in Indonesia. With the hope that Islamic education institutions can better manage education that is implemented, it can provide satisfying services, quality processes, involving all elements of education in total, namely; not only strive for the involvement of managers (principals) and employees (teachers and employees) but involve all elements of the school/madrasah including students and parents and the community, in achieving predetermined educational goals, while still evaluating to see the measurement of success education program implemented. Also to satisfy internal and external customers, and realize quality output.

Abstract

This paper would like to provide some explanations relating to the development of musyarakah contract in the Indonesian Ulema Council's fatwa after the study found several methods used by MUI in determining fatwa about this musharaka include using the Na? Qathi ', Qauli andapproaches Manhaji. The method or approach used in the determination of this fatwa is by referring to the main legal source and all of these methods or approaches are in accordance with the MUI stipulations in issuing legal edicts.

Abstract

One that can facilitate students in understanding the subject matter is the use of instructional media. Currently the most widely used multimedia learning media, it is due to its ease, flexibility, and efficiency. But not all teachers can easily develop this multi-media-based learning media. Lack of understanding in designing it is a major factor, in addition to other factors, namely inadequate school facilities and facilities. Religious learning certainly cannot be understood as learning based on the totality of lectures, but it would be more interesting if it was developed using multimedia-based media for example. This paper aims to analyze: (1) Characteristics of PAI learning and its suitability with multimedia-based learning media, (2) Skills and Techniques for developing multimedia-based learning media, (3) Barriers to teachers in developing multi-media-based learning media. This study uses qualitative research methods using a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interviews, and study documentation. This research was conducted at Al-Fattah Middle School Medan, for 2 months, and with a total of 10 informants. The results of the study show that: (1) Islamic religious education learning has characteristics not much different from other learning namely there is a load of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, so it is very necessary learning media that is able to accommodate all the demands of learning objectives as the taxonomy of learning above (2) Not all teachers are able to use multimedia-based learning media, only a part of it (3) The mindset about learning media as an alternative in learning is the main factor in the lack of use of instructional media, in addition to other factors due to lack of development.

Abstract

Research entitled learning strategies of Islamic educatin in the perspectie of the Quran The problem that arises is that Islamic education is lagging behind other educational institutions, both qualitatively and quantitatively. So that Islamic education is impressed as second class education. It is not surprising that at this time many generations of Muslims are actually studying in non-Muslim educational institutions. One of the cause of this happening is because of inaccucare strategies used in learning in student, especially Islamic learning strategies in the perspective of the Quran. The strategy is very important in teaching and learning activities for students, learning strategies are designed to achieve educational goals. Learning strategies include several things, models, and specific learning techniques. The method used is library research, qualitative. Any methods used in Islamic education learning is very good all, depending on how the teacher teaches it to students, and according to students needs.

Abstract

This study describes how the role of Islamic banking and finance in Indonesia and examined in the perspective of Islamic law. As it is known that since the 20th century in the Islamic world there was a discourse about the need for interest-free Islamic banks, to serve the needs of Muslims who are not pleased with the application of interest in banking because it is included in usury, namely transactions that are prohibited by Islamic law. In Indonesia, the transformation of conventional banking towards sharia banking began in 1991, beginning with PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, as the first commercial bank in Indonesia to operate based on Islamic law which has been recognized by Law No 10 of 1998 concerning Amendment to Law Number 7 of 1992 concerning Banking. This study uses a descriptive analytical approach and using library research that is used is descriptive analysis. Based on this research, it can be concluded that conventional banking is forbidden by jumhur ulama because it contains usury. In Indonesia, Islamic Banking has been operating in accordance with Islamic law and has been legalized by the MUI.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is; firstly to fulfill one of the tri dharma requirements of tertiary institutions, secondly to improve the skills of Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers in Medan in developing Integrated Thematic Learning programs and being able to implement them in real class learning. The method used in achieving these objectives is to conduct counseling and training in the form of Workshops and Peer Teaching, as well as mentoring in creating integrated thematic learning programs to the monitoring and evaluation in implementing them in class. The specific target of community service is for Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers in the city of Medan to design, implement and evaluate the Integrated Thematic learning program that they carry out, which in the end the learning process can be carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the activities of the roadside Muslims around the campus UMSU Medan and to know the implementation of Islamic business ethics in the business of the roadside Muslims around UMSU Medan. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research through interview and observation taking and questionnaires. The results obtained by Muslim traders around the UMSU do not do adverse elements for the buyer or consume generally in the perspective of Islamic Shariah studies.  In this implementation of Islamic business ethics includes four aspects: principle, management, marketing/advertising and product/price.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Role of Islamic Education in Building the character of students. Islamic education is the effort of muslim adults who are devoted fully aware and guide the growth of students to build the character of students. The problem that arises in this day and age (millennial) character of students does not meet the criteria in learning Islamic education so that it cannot shape the character of students in the role of Islamic education. Is Islamic education not fulfilled in schools so that the character of students is not like that in the role of Islamic education. The purpose of this study can shape the character of students needed in Islamic education so as to shape the existing character in Islamic education. The method used is library research, qualitative, which is found about the role of education, education, various kinds according to the needs of students.

Abstract

Monopoly in muamalat means al-Ihtikar, in etymology is the act of hoarding, collecting (goods) or a place to hoard. Ulama has different perspective of hoarding objects. Shafi'i and al-Gazali mahzab argued that hoarding was only found in the primary material according to the Hanafi Mahzab found by and other opinions ihtikar is generally applicable, namely hoarding all goods human needs, both primary and secondary, which become 'illat for this school are the affluence that afflicts many people, encompassing all the products that people need as a whole. In the principles of Islamic law, whatever is permissible by Allah to have it, then halal is used as an object of trade. Likewise all forms which are forbidden to have it are forbidden to be traded. But in Islam in principle the item is lawful, but because the attitudes and actions of the perpetrators are contrary to the shari'ah, the goods from the critical side turn into haram. In this paper, a qualitative method is used. To avoid monopoly in the society, it is needed the role of government to avoid monopoly practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the implementation of the application of the empowerment of Islamic banking business contracts in Islamic boarding schools. The study was conducted at several pesantren in the North Sumatra region. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach that is descriptive analytical and inductive. Data collection methods in the study used observations and interviews with various related parties. The type of data used in this study is primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is descriptive by using literature studies in the form of muamalah fiqh books. The results showed that the application of business contracts in boarding schools is still rarely applied. Some of the potential for this application can be realized both in the field of education and business sectors carried out by the pesantren.
