Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the influence of Self Regulated Learning to the students learning achievement class X on the economic subjects in SMAN 5 Pontianak. The method used in this research is assosiatif with the form of the research ekspos fakto, with a population of about 342 students so determined many sample by a formula slovin about 76 students. The data was collected by using direct communication technique (directive interview), indirect communication technique (self regulated learning questionnaire), and study documentary. The result of this research showed that there is the positive influence of the self regulated learning to the students learning achievement class X on the economic subject in SMAN 5 Pontianak. It is indicated by the number 2,757 which showed that there is an influence of the independent variable to dependent variable. When it is compared with T table on the significance level of 0,05 at 1,993. So it is greater than T table or 2,757 > 1,993, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The magnitude of the influence of self regulated learning on students learning achievement by 9.3% while the rest influenced by other factors are not described in this study. Keywords: Self Regulated Learning, Students Learning Achievement, Economic Subjects

Abstract

AbstractThe problems of the research were the learners had difficulty in performing the long jump because the learning activity lack of opportunities to repeat the event. The research and development were aimed at developing a variety of learning through play. The methods in this study used the method of research and development, namely the method of observing the basic stages of design which refers to the development of the Borg & Gall, a simplified according to needs of researchers. The stages of research included the stage of pre-development, namely: The study of literature and relevant research and studied. Development stage: Drafting the concept of the initial product, validation expert, small-scale trials and trials of wide scale up on the final product. The results of research on small scale trials showed the implementation of 5 game concept that is very good (82.86%). The acceptance of the learners on aspects: participation (92%), motivation (86%), and cooperation (97%) each on criteria acceptable and feasible to test on a wide scale. The results of the research on broad-scale trials, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of learners at 18,04%, which means that the development of long jump approach through learning to play on the Senior High School learners viable and can be used in the learning process.Keywords: learning, development of long jump, play

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research were to determine the difference in learning outcomes between the students given Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model with DAM game and the students given cooperative learning model as well as to know the influence of TGT type cooperative model with DAM game on students learning outcomes of class XI SMK N 2 Pontianak on hydrocarbon material. The research method was a quasy experimental research using control group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The research sample was class XI TP A as experiment class and XI TSM as control class. Essay-shaped written tests and unstructured interviews were used as data gathering tools. Mann-Whitney U was performed toward pre test data and revealed that both samples had no difference in initial ability. Analysis of post test data was carried out using independent t-test yielding value Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.005. It indicated that there was the difference in student learning outcomes between experiment class student and control class. The effect size value obtained was 1.03 and classiffied as high category. Based on Cohen’s table, the previous value indicated that TGT type cooperative learning model gave effect to student’s learning outcomes as 55%. Keywords: TGT, DAM Game, Learning Outcomes, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

 AbstractThis thesis entitled Effective Speed Reading (KEM) Class XI student school SMA Negeri 1 Ambawang River. This study aims to delineate effective speed reading. The method used is descriptive quantitative form. The data collection technique using the technique of indirect communication. Data collection tool used is a test. Guided items to KEM sense, that is a mix between visual ability and the ability of cognition, then the KEM calculation examples for the above data can be determined KEM her. From the results of the arithmetic average read speed of 500 wpm data obtained; percentage of the results were obtained from the data content of reading comprehension 64%. The calculation of its KEM is 500 X 64% = 320 wpm. This latter figure (320 wpm) is an effective speed reading that already includes the measurement of two elements advocates reading activities, namely the ability of eye movements in viewing the symbols of the print and the ability to understand the content of reading. While the figure of 500 wpm it is the ability of the average read speed which does not yet include elements of the content of reading comprehension. Keyword: speed, effectively, read

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to "Improving narrative writing skills using inquiry methods SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak". The method used in this research is descriptive method using classroom action research conducted with two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection for each cycle. Results obtained by students on pretest or before using inquiry method the average score of 69.76. The result of writing a student narrative essay on cycle I after using mind map method of inquiry of the average value 72,14. The increase of writing result of student narrative from pretest to cycle I is 2.38. Result of student short story writing in cycle II after using method of inquiry of mind of mean value 78,33. The improvement of writing result of student narrative from cycle I to cycle II is 6.19. Then it can be concluded that classroom action research using mind map method inquiry has succeeded in improving writing skill of narrative writing to students of SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak.                                                                                      Keywords:Writing’s narrative easy, method of inquiry

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to know students? ability in paraphrasing metaphors found in the novel within certain chapter in sixth semester students of English Department Study Program of Tanjungpura University in academic year 2016/2017. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method which is to find deeper understanding toward students? ability in paraphrasing the metaphors. The population of this research is 10 students who produced 100 text of metaphor paraphrase. The result of this study shows that the students used all the procedure except calque. The most used procedures by the students are equivalence procedure with percentage 29% out of 100%. At the end of the research, the researcher found that the students skill in paraphrasing the metaphor were quite good. The students scored above average in total nine of ten students. Thirty three errors found in total consist of fourteen errors in grammar and nineteen errors in paraphrasing. Keywords: Paraphrase, Metaphor, Students? Ability Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dalam menafsirkan metaphor pada novel dalam bab tertentu oleh mahasiswa semester enam Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Tanjungpura tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitatif untuk pemahaman lebih dalam terhadap kemampuan siswa menafsirkan metafor. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 10 mahasiswa yang menghasilkan 100 teks tafsiran metafor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menggunakan semua prosedur kecuali calque. Prosedur yang paling banyak digunakan adalah prosedur keseimbangan dengan persentase 29% dari 100%. Diakhir penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menafsirkan metaphor cukup baik. Mahasiswa memiliki nilai di atas rata-rata dengan total 9 dari 10 orang. Total tiga puluh tiga kesalahan ditemukan terdiri atas empat belas kesalahan di tata bahasa dan sembilan belas kesalahan dalam menafsirkan. Kata Kunci : Tafsiran, Metafor, Kemampuan Mahasiswa

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of remediation using the systematic approach to problem solving (SAPS) strategy based on multiple representations to reduce the number of errors in answering essay test about Newton?s law in X grade SMAN 4 Sungai Raya. The study used the form of one group pretest-posttest design and the research instrument used test descriptions that consist of five items. Purposive sampling is used in this study that involving 34 students XA. The other instrument in this study was concept map and student worksheets SAPS Stages. The data analysis showed the biggest errors was 100% of the students can?t draw free body diagram in pretest, and  50% of them can?t make it in posttest and average of the propotion value for each question indicator of 0,581 moderate. Learning with the systematic approach to problem solving based on multiple representations can be alternative to remediate students? error in subject material about Newton?s law.Keywords: SAPS, Multiple Representations, Students? Abstract

AbstractThis research focused on Malay  language of Sanggau dialect that is the repetition words of Malay  language of Sanggau dialect. Malay  language of Sanggau dialect is a language used by the Sanggau Malay community to communicate in daily life. The problems in this research were how the form of repetition words, category of repetition words, and the meaning of repetition words in Malay  language of Sanggau dialect. The purposes of this research were to describe the form of repetition words, category of repetition words, and the meaning of repetition words in Malay  language of Sanggau dialect. This research used descriptive method with qualitative form. The source of this research data is  Malay language of Sanggau dialect used by informants that contain the repetition words. The techniques used are interview, trace technique, and observation. Data collection tools were lists of interview questions, pictures lists, and voice recorders. Based on the data analysis of Malay  language of Sanggau dialect repetition words, the researcher found four repetition words namely: repetition of whole words, partial repetition words, repetition of affixed, and repetition sound changes. There were five category of repetitions namely: nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and numerical. Keywords: Morfologi, Repetition Words, Sanggau Dialect.

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis entitled “The Implementation of Asking Ability of the Sociology Teacher in Learning Process at Class X IPS 2 MAN 1 Pontianak”. The main problem in this research is whether the teacher sociology skilled in applying skill asked in learning process at class X IPS 2 MAN 1 Pontianak. This research applied a descriptive qualitative method. The research tehnique used was observation, interview and documentation study. The result of this research is (1) The implementation of basic ask able indicating teacher sociology skilled. The components, nemely the use of clear and concise questions, giving references, shifting turn, dissemination, giving time thinking and guidance. With score was obtained for 32 and the average value 3,2 category B (skilled). (2) The implementation of advanced ask able indicating teacher sociology is quite skilled. The components, namely the change of cognitive level guidance in answering questions, the use of tracking questions and increased interaction. Components that haven’t been applied, need teacher to improve by retrained skills, namely setting the sequence of questions. With score was obtained for 17 and the average value 2,12 category C (quite skilled).Keywords: The Implementation, Asking Ability, Learning Process

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study to describe : 1) the influence of Conformity to the Pedagogical Competence of teachers, 2)self-efficacy of the pedagogical competence of teachers; 3)conformity and self-efficacy of the pedagogical competence of teachers. The approach used in this study was a quantitative survey method. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews and data collection tool questionnaire and interview guides. Data processing techniques used multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that conformity had a significant influence on Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economy, Self-Efficacy has a significant influence on Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economics, Variable Conformity and Self-Efficacy jointly significant effect on the dependent Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economy. The calculations show the coefficient of determination shown Adjusted R-Square value of 0.342. The conclusion that 34.20% of dependent ie pedagogic influenced by two independent ie conformity and self-efficacy, while the remaining 65.80% of pedagogic competence is influenced by other variables Keywords: Conformity, Self-Efficacy and Pedagogic Competence
