Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of street children, how its implementation, development activities as well as constraints during the development of street children from Holi halfway house Kel. Tanjung Hilir, Kec. Pontianak Utara. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach with the goal of researchers can learn more about the role of Holi halfway house. The results showed that the coaching street children in Holi halfway house focused on fostering educational, spiritual and social. Direct spiritual guidance to shape the behavior of the child in accordance with religious norms. Coaching aims discipline children early so that children have mental self-discipline and discipline time. Aimed at fostering social relationships so that children can have a good relationship between the members in the social environment. Coaching hygiene for children to know the importance of target children clean and healthy living. Keywords : Fostering, Street Children, Halfway House, Qualitative.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors of family, neighbourhood, and society encourages children in Desa Mulia Kecamatan Teluk Keramat do not continue their study to the higher education. A descriptive study is employed in this research. Form of this research is case study involving farmer families whose children pass the senior high school but do not continue to higher education as the participants. The results reports that the factors which encourage them not to continue their study are; (1). family factor, indicated by economic stability, number of dependents in family, low of parent’s educational background, and  lack of parent’s motivation and awaraness on education, (2). neighbourhood factor, represented by low of neighbourhood education and free sex, (3). society factor shown by low of education level of the society and lack of awareness on the importance of education.Keywords : Causative Factors, Higher Education, Farmer Family.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the intent and purpose to amend and improve the teaching and learning process in class X SMA Pancasila Sungai Kakap, in order to better fit with the objectives to be achieved. The problem with this research is "Achievement motivation of students does not complete the completeness criteria of teaching on sociology subjects of class X SMA Pancasila Sungai Kakap ". The sub problem is as follows: (1) how to motivate students in the areas of cognitive achievement, in class X SMA Pancasila Sungai Kakap. (2) how achievement motivation in the field of improving the status and self-esteem in a child class X SMA Pancasila Sungai Kakap. (3) how to excel in the field of motivation is affiliated with other students.This study used qualitative methods, forms of research is a case study by the research subjects were students of class X SMA Pancasila Sungai Kakap.Keywords : Achievement Motivation, Students Completed Sociology Lesson  Completeness Criteria Of Teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to improve and develop the skills think students in the learning process teaches sociology at the class X SMK Panca Bhakti Sungai Raya Kubu Raya district. The method used is descriptive research with the intention to describe the actual state of the application model of contextual learning in the teaching-learning process has been implemented by teachers Panca Bhakti sociology SMK Sungai Raya. Results of data analysis showed that teachers are already implementing measures of contextual learning, contextual learning components and capable teachers assist students in connecting the subject matter, the teacher is able to manage the class well, teachers can carry out group discussions in class and the ability of teachers in conditioning himself as a teacher who is respected by his students and will accept responses wisely as well as questions submitted from students to teachers.Keywords : Application, Contextual Learning, Sociology Lesson.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how social contact and social communication between teacher and students in learning sociology in class XI IPS of SMA Katolik Talino. The purpose of this research is to analyze how social contact and social communication between teacher and students in learning sociology. The using method is qualitative descriptive research with the object of the research is teacher and students in learning sociology. The result of this research is social interaction between teacher and students still not really good. This condition can be known by social contact and social communication between teacher and students that appears less closeness, less enthusiasm of studying, and there is no teacher’s apperception to students. From the finding can be concluded that social contact of the teacher and students in learning sociology in Class XI IPS of SMA Katolik Talino is not good and social communication between teacher and students is not good too.Keywords : The Social Interaction Of Teacher And Students, Sociology Learning

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to describe the parents’ responsibility in religion education, moral education, physical education and intelligence education to the children of sailor family Kelurahan Tengah Kecamatan Delta Pawan Kabupaten Ketapang. Method of this research is descriptive method by using case study. The participant informant is sailor family who has children in elementary school age that don’t continue the study to the junior high school. The result from this research is parents’ responsibility in children education do not understand by the parents such as : 1). In religion education the parents never teach to pray and read read AL-Qur’an, and parents do not transfer their children to TPA, 2). In moral education the parents teach their children to be kind to anyone but they do not apply it in their daily life, 3). In physical education the parents not really care about keeping clean and health, 4). In intellectual education the parents have lack motivation to their children to finish their study in high level. Keywords : Responsibility, Parents, Children Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the role of parents in the education of children in a family of farmers in the village of New Blooms Kingdom River District Kubu Raya district. The method used in this study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. While the data collection tool used was observation, interview and documentation. The results can be concluded: Modeling pretty good parents because parents in their daily faith educating intellectual education, psikhis education, and social education. Parental guidance is categorized well, because parents try to pay attention and keep an eye on children's education and motivation of the parents pretty well because parents encourage children to be more.Keywords : Role Of Parents, Children's Education, Family Farmers.

Abstract

This research was aim to analyze cooperation of social interaction among peers in order to improve students’ motivation in study in sociology subject in class XI Social 1 of Muhammadiyah 2 Senior High School Pontianak. Method that was used in this research was qualitative approach. The result of data analyze showed that the form of cooperation of social interaction in XI Social 1 was variated which group 3 achieved the form of cooperation of social interaction in high level, group 5 achieved cooperation of social interaction in middle level, and group 6 achieved cooperation of social interaction in beginning level. The level of students’ motivation in study in class XI Social 1 was good enough. It showed by group 3 and 5 were achieved satisfied level and group 6 achieved confidence level. Cooperation of social interaction among peers which can grow students’ motivation in study in class XI social 1 whether group 3, 5, and 6 showed antusiasm act and happiness during learning process grouply. Keywords : Cooperation Of Social Interaction, Peers, Motivation Of Study.
