Abstract

The development of technology at this time is very rapidly growing. Where now learning is centered on students by combining learning with technology. This problem is the background of research related to integrated learning media. Opportunities to improve the quality of learning are not only from the teacher but also from the learning media used. The method used in this research is descriptive. Data collection obtained from interviews with teachers related to the lack of IT utilization in learning. The problem of operating IT to develop learning media is one of the factors for the lack of interactive learning media.   The solution to this problem is for teachers to attend training or socialization on how to develop interactive and innovative learning media. Therefore, learning media combined with IT is an alternative for teachers to develop their abilities, make learning fun, and improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the influence of personality and problem-solving ability on leadership quality. Through a quantitative correlational approach with a sample of teachers and principals in Singkawang City, it was found that aspects of personality referring to the five big personalities have a positive effect on leadership quality, but aspects of emotional stability are not significant on leadership quality. Aspects of problem-solving ability with creative problem-solving steps are significant on leadership quality. Personality and problem-solving ability simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on leadership quality. The importance of the concept of Asset-based thinking as an approach that focuses on the strengths possessed by leaders to achieve better leadership quality. Further research is expected to explore other aspects of leadership in more depth.Keywords: Personality, Problem-Solving, Leadership  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel guru dan kepala sekolah di Kota Singkawang, ditemukan bahwa aspek kepribadian yang mengacu pada lima kepribadian besar berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan, namun aspek stabilitas emosi tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan. Aspek kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan langkah pemecahan masalah yang kreatif signifikan terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan. Kepribadian dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas kepemimpinan. Pentingnya konsep pemikiran berbasis Aset (Asset-based thinking) sebagai pendekatan yang berfokus pada kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh pemimpin untuk mencapai kualitas kepemimpinan yang lebih baik. Penelitian selanjutnya dihadapkan dapat mengeksplorasi aspek kepemimpinan lainnya secara lebih mendalam.Kata Kunci: Kepribadian, Pemecahan Masalah, Kepemimpinan

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of speech acts within communication processes, with a focus on Searle"™s classification of illocutionary acts into five categories: assertive, referential, commissive, expressive, and declarative. It aims to provide a descriptive overview of illocutionary acts in the "Kos Mas Adam" WhatsApp group and identify their prevalence. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data analysis utilized heuristic analysis techniques. The study reveals various illocutionary speech acts in the group discussions, with assertive speech being the most common (9 data), followed by expressive (12 data) and directive (4 data). Notably, commissive speech is scarce, with only one instance, and declarative with two. These findings underscore the uneven distribution of illocutionary acts within the WhatsApp group "Kos Mas Adam", with implications for understanding online discourse dynamics. Future research may explore strategies for promoting a more balanced use of illocutionary speech acts in online group interactions.
