Abstract

Denpasar City is the capital of Bali Province, located in the southern part of Bali Island. The population growth rate in Denpasar City from 2021 to 2022 reached 0.12%, with a population density of 5,727 people per square meter in 2022. This high population growth rate naturally impacts the demand for land for both residential and activity purposes, indirectly posing a potential risk for flooding problems. According to BPBD Denpasar City, there were 37 flood incidents in 2018 and 5 flood incidents in 2020. This study aims to map flood threats in Denpasar City, Bali Province. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which assigns weights and scores to each flood parameter and then overlays them. The weighting and scoring of each flood parameter are based on related research. The flood parameters used include slope gradient, land cover, rainfall, drainage density, and soil type. The overlay results produce a flood threat map with five classifications: very low with an area of 1.17 ha, low with an area of 121.35 ha, medium with an area of 2210.41 ha, high with an area of 6970.29 ha, and very high with an area of 3178.92 ha.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to identify areas with flood potential in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. The study was conducted from September 2023 to May 2024. It covers various variables relevant to flood potential, namely rainfall, slope gradient, land use, soil type, and drainage density. To identify flood-prone areas in Candikuning Village, each parameter was scored based on predetermined classifications according to their respective categories. This process involved an in-depth analysis of the collected data. Once these parameters were classified, the next step was to overlay them with the Candikuning Village Administrative Map. In this study, weighted overlays were used to combine data on rainfall, slope gradient, land use, soil type, and drainage density. Each layer of information was weighted based on its importance in contributing to flood potential. The final result of this study is a flood potential map depicting areas in Candikuning Village with varying levels of flood risk. The classifications on this map are divided into five main categories: very low potential, low, medium, high, and very high. This flood potential map is expected to serve as a useful tool for local government and the community in planning flood mitigation measures, as well as in the effective management of natural resources and spatial planning.

Abstract

The one map policy will be implemented after all land parcels in Indonesia have been thoroughly mapped. In order to realise a complete Village/City map, regulations are needed that support the complete mapping of land parcels through the complete systematic land registration project. This mapping is done through field surveys to collect information on the ownership of land parcels in the village. The purpose of this research is to identify the distribution and factors of land parcels that have not been recorded on the working map of Dawan Kaler Village and to explain the process of mapping land parcels for registration on the working map. The method applied was descriptive qualitative. The results indicate that there are three categories of unregistered land parcels, namely unplotted, untidy, and overlapping. The main causes are the parcel owner and the measuring officer. The research also describes the method of improving the working map in the village.

Abstract

Changes in the use of rice fields in Sambangan Village are accelerating as development increases every year. This research aims to identify the distribution of rice fields and the factors that cause changes in land use in Sambangan Village. The method used is quantitative descriptive. According to RSNI, land use types include gardens, settlements and rice fields. In 2009, the area of rice fields reached 229.17 hectares (100%). In 2022, the area decreases to 189.48 hectares (82.74%), with 12.91 hectares (5.63%) turned into housing and 25.83 hectares (11.27%) into plantations. This change shows an increase in the need for residential land due to population growth and regional development, which reduces productive agricultural land. Factors that cause changes in land use include economic growth, urbanization, government policies, agricultural technology, and environmental conditions. Impacts include loss of natural habitat, reduced soil quality, and increased risk of natural disasters. Therefore, it is important to consider these consequences before changing land use.
