Focus and Scope Jurnal Riset Manajemen dan Bisnis (p-ISSN: 1907-7343; e-ISSN: 2714-7312) adalah jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh Fakultas Bisnis Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana yang terbit dua kali setahun (Juli dan Desember). Jurnal ini didedikasikan sebagai sarana untuk berbagi dan diseminasi studi-studi terbaru dari para peneliti manajemen dan bisnis. Artikel-artikel empiris yang menyajikan riset yang akurat dan teliti secara metodologis dan temuan yang mencerahkan sangat dinantikan. Kami memastikan proses penyuntingan dan ulasan sejawat yang berkualitas tinggi untuk menegakkan integritas ilmiah dan memberikan asupan pengetahuan terbaik untuk masyarakat yang lebih luas. Abstract

The purposes of this study is to test the effect of marketing mix variables (product, price, distribution, and promotion) to Big Cola purchase decision as the dependent variable. Using survey as a data collection method, a questionnaire was distributed to 125 respondents using purposive random sampling method. Data analysis tools are factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. From factor analysis, there is found five factors that influence Big Cola purchasing decisions, while from multiple linear regression analysis obtained result that from four marketing mix variables only distribution variable influence Big Cola purchasing decision. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice of compensation on employees’ commitment. Primary data have been collected from 53 consultant companies’ employees. Multiple regression is used for testing three hypotheses. The results show that compensation distributive justice and interactional justice have effect on employees’ commitment, while compensation procedural justice show no such effect. Abstract

This study showed that retaliation behavior is an important concept in organizational behavior domain. However organizational justice perception and affective commitment are important antecedences to explain retaliation phenomena at workplace. Based on social exhange theory, financial compensation and rotation policy are important purposes of most employees related to their reason to affiliate with an organization. This research has done in an Indonesian’s Government institution where the researcher gathered 77 subjects of fulltime employees. Add up the results supported hypothesis partially. In general, the conclusion of this study explained that the distributive justice of rotation policy and affective commitment have strong prediction to employee’s retaliation in workplace. But distributive justice of financial compensation didn’t support hypotheses. The context had explained possibility why the distributive justice of financial compensation didn’t support hypotheses. Abstract

This study examined balance funds and the own-source revenue (PAD) in four regencies in East Java Province based on the data of year 2007 to 2011. Balance funds consist of the Shared Revenue Funds (DBH), the General Allocation Fund (DAU), and the Specific Allocation Fund (DAK). Based on research method using hypothesis test for means (ANOVA), the results show that PAD has difference significant according regency and year; DBH, DAU, and DAK have difference significant according regency; DBH, DAU, and DAK have no difference significant according year. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of industry concentration to future stock return. We analyze all industries listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange over 2007 - 2009 period. By using regression analysis, the result shows that companies operating in less concentrated or more competitive industries generate higher future stock return. In another word, firms in more concentrated or less competitive earn lower future stock return. In addition, this study reveals that size has negative effect on future stock return, while leverage show not such effect. This result indicates that there is difference in the size of companies. Indonesian concentrated industries are dominated by the large compenies. Keywords: industries concentration, industries stock return, competitive industries

Abstract

This research examines the direct and indirect influence of transformational leadership to performance, with employee’s shared vision as the mediating variable. 504 respondents taken from a purposive sampling based on their occupational characteristics participated in this research. The results reveal that transformational leadership has no influence to employee performance, meanwhile transformasional leadership has positive influence to shared vision among employees, and shared vision among employees has positive influence to employee performance. This research also found that shared vision among employees has a full mediation role in the relationship of transformasional leadership and employee performance.
