Abstract

This research was discussed about the relationship between the development of the function of money fromthe stage of barter between two commodities, which are C and C’ and then become C-M-C’, when the moneyonce introduced. M - C - M’ happened when the businessman utilize the money (M) to produce commodityC, that will be sell to generate more money (M’). Last, the trading process of M - M’ that shown the capital orfi nancial market, just like the money or security market. The development of the function of money was shownby the changes of the money supply that weigh by the infl ation. Based on the data on 1990-2011 using theAnova and regression analysis, it is known that there were a difference between the currency money supply,demand deposits, and quasi money in Indonesia; The currency money supply didn’t have signifi cantly positiveeffect on the infl ation in Indonesia; The demand deposits didn’t have positive effect on the infl ation in Indonesia;and the quasi money have positive effect on the infl ation in Indonesia.Keywords: money nexus, currency money, demand deposits, quasi money, infl ation rate

Abstract

This research analyze the effect of regional autonomy to the interest of college’s student candidate to continue studying in Sleman Regency which research’s samples for major program’s chosen was Accounting, Management, and Economics in UII, UAJY, UPNVY, and STIE YKPN. The result of research with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix shows that each major program in four universities and college was in different quadrant. Therefore, each university and college has to choose different development strategic specifically even for each major programs in each university and college, so that the major programs in four universities and college in Sleman Regency could grow and rise.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis nilai tambah yang  dihasilkan dari usaha pengolahan kopi pada Kelompok Perkasa Tani, 2) Menganalisis kelayakan pada usaha pengolahan kopi yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok Perkasa Tani. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perhitungan analisis nilai tambah yaitu kopi bubuk premium, kopi bubuk sintaro dan kopi bubuk APA mempunyai rasio nilai tambah kategori sedang. Analisis kelayakan usaha industri pengolahan kopi bubuk IKM Sintaro Gold Coffee di Desa IV Suku Menanti layak untuk diusahakan. Nilai Payback Periode sebesar 0,03 tahun untuk produk Premium dan APA serta 0,02 untuk produk Sintaro. Usaha pengolahan kopi bubuk memiliki nilai NPV> 0, dan IRR> tingkat discount rate (7%). Artinya IKM Sintaro Gold Coffee di Desa IV Suku Menanti layak untuk diusahakan.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of fiscal decentralization on capital expenditure, economic growth, and social welfare of 29 regencies and 6 cities in Central Java Province based on the data of year 2004 to 2008. The method used to analyze the hypotheses is the Partial Least Square. The results showes that fiscal decentralization has no significant effect on capital expenditure; fiscal decentralization has significant effect on economic growth and social welfare; capital expenditure has no significant effect on economic growth and social welfare; and economic growth has significant effect on social welfare.Keywords: Fiscal decentralization, capital expenditure, economic growth, social welfareJEL classification: H76, I31, 043

Abstract

The implementation of regional autonomy has been running nearly 15 years. In fact, the purpose of regional autonomy for improving the welfare has not been fully achieved. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of regional autonomy in improving the welfare by using capital expenditure and growth as an intervening variable. We use the data of 461 counties and cities, the period of 2006-2013, Partial Least Square for testing hypotheses. Empirical evidence shows that decentralization significantly effect on capital, growth, and welfare. Capital has a significant effect on growth but does not has a significant effect on welfare. Growth has a significant effect on welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fiscal decentralization on economic growth mediated by financial performance in Bali Province. The source of data employed in this study was secondary data from the financial statement of local government in a counties/city in Bali in 2006 to 2014. The data analysis technique employed in this study was Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that 1) fiscal decentralization was significantly influential on financial performance measured using the financial independence ratio of local government in Bali; 2) fiscal decentralization was significantly influential on financial performance measured using the ratio of conformity in Bali; 3) fiscal decentralization was significantly influential on economic growth in Bali; 4) financial performance measured using the financial independence ratio of local government had no significant effect on economic growth in Bali; and 5) financial performance measured using the ratio of conformity was significantly influential on economic growth in Bali.
