Abstract

During the Covid 19 pandemic, every individual is required to be more creative in carrying out every activity and not make a distance as the reason an activity cannot be carried out. Documentation data, which is usually sent manually by post, will experience difficulties at this time. This research will discuss other ways that can be done to ensure the data exchange process of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between PT. Bank XYZ with partners. The solution that can be implemented is to use the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) method. EDI is an online-based data exchange method. In other words, the method of exchanging data via postal service is not necessary. Based on this research, the EDI method can meet users' needs in terms of exchanging or sending documentary data on the MOU between PT. Bank XYZ with partners. The method used in building this system design is analyzing the running system and designing the system with UML tools. The final result of the validation test of the system design through the FGD method states that the e-approval system application design of the MOU is by the specifications of the functional requirements required by the user.

Abstract

Indoor Positioning System (IPS) has been widely used in today’s industry for the various purposes of locating people or objects such as inspection, navigation, and security. Many research works have been done to develop the system by using wireless technology such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The techniques that can give some better performances in terms of accuracy have been investigated and developed. In this paper, ZigBee IEEE 802.15.4 wireless communication protocols are used to implement an indoor localization application system. The research is focusing more on analyzing the behaviour of Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) reading under several conditions and locations by applying the Trilateration algorithm for localizing. The conditions are increasing the number of transmitters, experimented in the non-wireless connection room and wireless connection room by comparing the variation of RSSI values. Analysis of the result shows that the accuracy of the system was improved as the number of transmitters was increased.

Abstract

The development of information technology nowadays has become faster, and this makes network security become important. A huge increasing number of computers that are connected makes many gaps in a network. An administrator has an important role in protecting the security of the network. The problem comes when an administrator has human problems such as pain, negligence, and tiredness while needing rapid information when there is an intrusion on the network. This problem can be solved by adding a data traffic detection system known as Intrusion Detection System (IDS). IDS will be connected to Mail Gateway until that administrator can receive notifications such as alerts during an intrusion to the network anytime and anywhere. Snort as one of the network security systems should be developed as a security detection system and network security. A security intrusion prevention system or an Intrusion Prevented System (IPS). The author tries to do analysis and testing on the subjects above to produce a system capable of detecting the intruder in a network that is mobile and also makes it easy for administrators to open data anywhere and anytime using any device.

Abstract

The transmission line of electrical energy generated by the power plant is usually located far from the load center to be distributed to the community. The substation is part of a distribution transmission line that acts as a control center and consists of a collection of extra high voltage equipment. Routine maintenance of the power transformer as the main equipment of the substation must be scheduled so that its performance remains reliable. The proposed method of this research is to analyze the condition of the transformer through testing when it is off, to the calculation of the transformer ratio to determine the condition of the transformer windings using the calculation of the formula and measurement of the Raytech Transformer Turn Ration measuring instrument. In this research, the Raytech Transformer Turn Ratio measurement tool is used to determine the ratio of the winding input voltage of 20,000 volts and the output voltage of 400 volts on the power transformer. At a voltage of 40VAC, from the results of the comparisons that have been made, it can be seen that the test results of the Raytech Transformer Turn Ratio measuring instrument, if it crosses the 0.5% tolerance limit, the measurement results on one of the coils change the ratio. If the transformer is not regularly checked, the impact will result in unbalance of voltage on one of the coils. And one of the coils in phase will expand and cause a loss of voltage.

Abstract

With the abundance of online research platforms, much information presented in PDF files, such as articles and journals, can be obtained easily. In this case, students completing research projects would have many downloaded PDF articles on their laptops. However, identifying the target articles manually within the collection can be tiring as most articles consist of several pages that need to be analyzed. Reading each article to determine if the article relates theme and organizing the articles based on themes is time and energy-consuming. Referring to this problem, a PDF files organizer that implemented a theme identifier is necessary. Thus, work will focus on automatic text classification using the machine learning methods to build a theme identifier employed in the PDF files organizer to classify articles into augmented reality and machine learning. A total of 1000 text documents for both themes were used to build the classification model. Moreover, the pre-preprocessing step for data cleaning and TF-IDF feature extraction for text vectorization and to reduce sparse vectors were performed. 80% of the dataset were used for training, and the remaining were used to validate the trained models. The classification models proposed in this work are Linear SVM and Multinomial Naïve Bayes. The accuracy of the models was evaluated using a confusion matrix. For the Linear SVM model, grid-search optimization was performed to determine the optimal value of the Cost parameter.

Abstract

A pneumatic actuator is highly nonlinear, which makes the precise position control of this actuator difficult to achieve. In order to achieve precise control, selecting a suitable model structure is a prerequisite before control estimation. This selection of the model structure is based upon an understanding of the physical systems. In this paper, the black-box model is chosen as a system identification model for modeling position control of an Intelligent Pneumatic Actuator (IPA) system and a variety of parametric model structures. The parametric model structure, such as ARX, ARMAX, Box-Jenkins, output-error structures, and Hammerstein available in the black-box model, is used to assist in modeling the IPA system. The results indicate that Hammerstein had the best performance for modeling position control of the IPA system with the best fit 94.95. Also, the results show that ARX, ARMAX, Box-Jenkins, and output-error structures had best fit more than 90%.

Abstract

Overall Equipment Utilisation (OEU) plays an important role as a benchmark for manufacturing companies to determine each machine's efficiency. Currently, there is no proper OEU measurement system in legacy machines and only relies on human observation. This project aims to develop a measurement of OEU system by using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). An efficient Optical Character Recognition (OCR) algorithm is needed to have a high percentage of recognition rate. The outcome of this project will be a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that display real-time OEU monitoring and remote quality check for legacy machines. Pytesseract-OCR Version 4 classifier using the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) method has been proposed in this paper. Furthermore, an error detection feature is designed from OCR output.
