Abstract

ABSTRAKDi Indonesia, pengguna internet area perkotaan, antara desa dan kota, serta pedesaan berturut sebesar 72,41%, 49,5%, dan 48,3%. Berikut komposisi dari pengguna internet di Indonesia: pulau Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, dan Maluku-Papua masing-masing sebesar 58,1%, 19%, 8%, 6,7%, 5,6%, dan 2,5%. Guna mengatasi masalah ini, beberapa upaya telah dilakukan untuk menyamakan akses internet di Indonesia, dan salah satu upaya yang ditawarkan adalah Project Loon. Project Loon merupakan teknologi komunikasi berdasarkan High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Penelitian terkait pengujian kelayakan Project Loon dilakukan menggunakan metode Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Operasional Project Loon di Indonesia menggunakan frekuensi 900 MHZ untuk eNodeB HAPs LTE, Diperlukan regulasi baru guna menjamin operasional Project Loon oleh operator di Indonesia, serta Area dan waktu operasional Project Loon dibatasi dengan ketentuan yang berlaku guna menghindari terjadinya resiko yang tidak diinginkan.Kata Kunci: Project Loon, HAPs, RIA, Regulasi Frekuensi ABSTRACTIn Indonesia, urban area internet users, between villages and cities, and rural areas are 72.41%, 49.5% and 48.3% respectively. The following is the composition of internet users in Indonesia: Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Maluku-Papua islands each at 58.1%, 19%, 8%, 6.7%, 5.6% and 2.5%. To overcome this problem, several efforts have been made to equalize internet access in Indonesia, and one of the efforts offered is Project Loon. Loon Project is a communication technology based on the High Altitude Platform (HAPs). Research related to the feasibility testing of Project Loon is conducted using the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) method. The results obtained are that Project Loon Operations in Indonesia uses 900 MHz frequency for eNodeB LTE HAPs, new regulations are needed to guarantee the operation of Loon Projects by operators in Indonesia, and the Project Area and operational time is limited by applicable provisions to avoid unwanted risks.Keywords: Project Loon, HAPs, RIA, Frequency Regulation

Abstract

One of the critical equipment to support a patient in the hospital would be an infuse system. One of the main problems with the infuse system was manual monitoring. Few researchers try to build a low cost infuse system using a low-cost sensor and microcontroller. This paper proposes a fuzzy Topsis algorithm and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm to choose the best sensor for a low cost to the infuse system, which is one of the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems. Several simulations using three sensors, such as LDR (photoresistor), phototransistor, and photodiode, are performed. By using these two algorithms, it can be shown that the phototransistor emerges as the best sensor with value 1, even though it has the price six times higher from the LDR sensor and three times higher from the photodiode.

Abstract

Permintaan industri terhadap sumber daya manusia terampil memberikan tantangan kepada setiap lulusan sekolah untuk melakukan berbagai pelatihan kompetensi dan keterampilan. Sehingga, solusi untuk memenuhi tantangan industri adalah pelatihan Penerapan ipteks bagi masyarakat berjudul ” Pengenalan Komponen Elektronika Raspberry Pi untuk Kalangan Siswa-Siswi Di Kembangan Utara” merupakan . Luaran akhir kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan pada modul Raspberry Pi dalam hal ini perancangan sistem Irigasi Air sederhana, dengan menggunakan detektor ketinggian air sebagai masukan informasi yang akan diolah dan diproses oleh Raspberry Pi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah siswa-siswi mengenal perangkat mini komputer yang disebut Raspberry Pi dan aplikasinya.

Abstract

A stepper motor is an electro mechanical device that can convert electrical pulses to the axis of movement. The finding problem  in the movement of a stepper motor is  cannot respond to the clock signal directly because the motor windings require a clock (sequence) in the correct order. If the control signal given is not correct, the motor is not moving according to the specified precision. To answer these problems, it is necessary to move the stepper motor with a clock signal that works in real time. The research method is done by designing and testing the stepper motor movement in full stepp and half step with the direction of Clock Wise (CW) and Counter Clock Wise (CCW) movement. These are simulated by using FPGA Isim and implementation using a stepper motor. The results of several experiments have been carried out the stepper motor movement degree according to the input value entered,responding timely movement, and the direction of movement stepper motor.

Abstract

Today, the use of wearable devices is becoming a thing inherent in the daily activities of urban communities. In practice, wearable communications may contain sensitive information regarding a user's health record, so authentication and confidentiality of data exchanged must be guaranteed. In addition, the success of authentication between users, wearable devices and smartphones is very important because there are various threats of attack on the authentication process. Based on previous studies, it was found that the security functionality of user impersonation attack is not owned by lightweight authentication protocols in the current wearable communication environment. So this research undertakes the design of a lightweight authentication protocol to be immune to user impersonation attacks to supplement the lack of security functionality in previous protocols with the support of performing a formal analysis using the Scyther Tool. The research method used is a Research Library supported by conducting protocol security test experiment. The developed protocol utilizes a modified and customized S-NCI key establishment protocol scheme to meet all targeted security functionality. The research resulted that the lightweight authentication protocol generated was immune to the impersonation attacks of users, then was able to add two new functionalities that added wearable devices and added smartphones.

Abstract

The stages of the process of Genetic Algorithm (GA), are: Encoding Genotype and Chromosome; Set Initialization Population; Evaluation Fitness Function; and Selection Process as well as in the later stages Cross Over Process and Mutation. Outputs from the tests performed in this study can be obtained by comparing the Genes of the "Child" (condition data traffic on the UMTS Hybrid - 802.11g network after the GA) against Gen "Holding" (traffic data before the GA process). The research was conducted by calculating the environmental factors, namely: The scheme Two - Ray Model Propagation and Overlapping Channel Interference Factor, the Doppler Effect be ignored because the User Equipment (UE) is considered not to shift significant arenas on the IEEE 802.11g networks. The results of the research is as follows: In the process of cross over, there is a significant change in the bandwidth, data traffic capacity and Power parameter changes by 9 MHz,  36 MB, and 40 dBm. In the process of mutation, there is a significant change in the  bandwidth, data traffic capacity, and Power  parameter by 17 MHz, 32 MB, and 20 dBm.

Abstract

The change of information and communication technology has brought many changes in daily life. The way humans interacting is changing. It is possible to express each form of communication directly and instantly. Social media has contributed data in size, diversity and capacity and quality. Based on it, the idea was to see and measure the tendency of depression and anxiety through social media using the Closed-Loop method using Facebook text mining posts. Through the stages of pre-processing including text extraction using the Naïve Bayes machine learning model for text classification, the early signs of depression and anxiety are measured using DASS-21 parameter. In total, 22,934 Facebook posts were contributed as training and learning data collected from July 2017 until July 2018. As a results, analysis and mapping of social demographics of users that are usually as a trigger of depression, and anxiety, such as grief, illness, household affairs, children education and others are available.

Abstract

Pada hari Sabtu, 24 Februari 2018 bertempat di Laboratorium Komputer UMB telah dilaksanakan Program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dengan tema : yaitu Pelatihan Penerapan Teknologi Informasi sebagai Sarana Kewirausahaan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu dari tri dharma perguruan tinggi, pelaksanaannya merupakan agenda dari Semester ganjil tahun akademik 2017/2018. Adapun perserta pelatihan ini adalah Jamaah Masjid Al Hikmah – Taman Aries Jakarta Barat sebanyak 12 orang. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu: Setelah mengikuti pelatihan di harapkan para peserta pelatihan dapat membaca peluang wirausaha yang dapat dilaksakan secara mandiri, yaitu sistemonline. Hasil akhir yang dicapai dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peserta berharap agar kegiatan ini sering diadakan baik dengan topik pelatihan yang sama atau topik pelatihan yang lain. Pada kesempatan ini, peserta pelatihan mampu memahami dan mengerti tentang langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk wirausaha memanfaatkan sarana Teknologi Informasi.

Abstract

Wilayah Rancaekek merupakan salah satu wilayah potential market di Kabupaten Bandung karena letaknya yang strategis sehingga diperlukan kapasitas jaringan yang sanggup memberikan layanan data pada setiap pengguna sebaik mungkin. Namun, berdasarkan hasil identifikasi data Operating Support System yang berawal dari custumer complain di wilayah Rancaekek dari salah satu operator, terdapat lima site dengan nilai rata-rata trafik yang tinggi yang ditunjukkan dari persentase penggunaan resource block melebihi 90% yang artinya melebihi batas toleransi operator tersebut yang mengakibatkan performansi jaringan LTE di wilayah tersebut tidak optimal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pada penelitian ini dilakukan penerapan metode inter-band carrier aggregation pada jaringan LTE-Advanced di wilayah Rancaekek dengan menggabungkan band 1 (2100 MHz) sebesar 10 MHz dan band 3 (1800 MHz) sebesar 10 MHz. Salah satu keuntungan dari penerapan metode ini adalah dapat menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan kapasitas jaringan di wilayah yang memiliki trafik tinggi dengan memaksimalkan sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh operator. Simulasi penerapan metode ini dilakukan dengan dua skenario. Skenario pertama dengan band 3 (1800 MHz) sebagai primary component carrier. Sedangkan skenario kedua dengan band 1 (2100 MHz) sebagai primary component carrier. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi menggunakan software Atoll 3.3, diketahui dengan adanya carrier aggregation dapat meningkatkan rata-rata Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) menjadi -88,15 dBm dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 3,72 %, rata-rata Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR) menjadi 13,65 dB dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 53,89 %, dan throughput menjadi 4.192 kbps dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 181,5 %.

Abstract

 Pada sistem komunikasi GSM (Global System for Mobile), BTS (Base Transceiver Station) merupakan jantung dari sebuah cell site layanan telekomunikasi. BTS merupakan perangkat pemancar dan penerima yang menangani akses radio dan berinteraksi langsung dengan Mobile Station (MS) melalui air interface. Sebuah optimasi kinerja ip clock pada base transceiver station (BTS) metode untuk sinkronisasi jaringan untuk jam global yang berasal dari jam GPS diakuisisi oleh sejumlah BTS. IP clock didistribusikan ke pengendali serta acuan berbagai jaringan, dan dari sana ke jaringan perangkat akses,sehingga sinkronisasi jaringan komunikasi konvergensi antara BTS,BSS,dan RNC.Kata Kunci : Robot, Arduino, Servo, Sensor Warna TCS 3200
