Abstract

Colleges as providers of educational services must be able to give the best service to the consumer in this case should be able to have the quality of human resources. How can it be expected to provide the best service to students if the human resources involved can not feel comfortable in working so could not provide the best performance for the college. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work ethic, financial compensation, nonfinancial compensation, and work discipline on the performance of lecturers and Personnel in STIE Widya Gama Lumajang, either partially or simultaneously. Mechanical research by distributing questionnaires and the research method used is multiple linear regression method . The results that partial compensation of financial and work discipline that has an influence on the performance of lecturers and Personnel. While simultaneously work ethic, financial compensation, nonfinancial compensation, and work discipline affect the performance of lecturers and Personnel in STIE Widya Gama Lumajang. Performance can be explained by the variable work ethic, financial compensation, nonfinancial compensation, work discipline 64.4% while the remaining 35.6% performance is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Commercial banks and Bank Perkreditan Rakyat are two different types of banks whose existence in society aims to raise and channel public funds to improve people's lives. The facts show that there is a sharp competition between the two types of banks in terms of gaining public trust to become bank customer but although these two types of banks are different but still able to develop well in society. This study aims to identify the factors that become competitive advantage at Commercial Banks and Bank Perkreditan Rakyat from the customer's point of view based on customers' perceptions, expectations and interests so banks can determine competitive strategy. The approach used in this research is Lean Six Sigma approach with a sample of 60 respondents consisting of 30 customers of Commercial Banks and 30 customers of Bank Perkreditan Rakyat. Respondents will be asked to respond to research instruments based on their perceptions, expectations and interests. The results of the study there are five competitive advantages in Commercial Banks (1) promotions made, (2) reward appeal, (3) saving security, (4) cleanliness and comfort of the room, (5) friendliness, courtesy and neatness. Bank Perkreditan Rakyat obtained competitive advantage that is (1) cleanliness and comfort of the room,(2) ability and alertness of the officers, (3) friendliness, courtesy and neatness, (4) saving security, (5) familiarity of the officer with the customer. In addition there are similarities there are interesting differences that is on the excellence of promotional activities and the attractiveness of prizes at Commercial Banks. and the familiarity of officers with customers at Bank Perkreditan Rakyat.

Abstract

Law No. 6 of 2014 on Villages, provides an important position for the village to play its role in development. The important role of the village is the local authority possessed by the village in managing its household. Urgency of the implementation of village authority in village development main flow lies in the ability of village financial management. The form of self-reliance of village management among others is the application of the principle of the principle as set forth in the regulation, as regulated in Permendagri 113 of 2014. This study aims to identify and analyze the application of the principles of village financial management, including; Principles of Transparency, Principles of Accountability, Principles of Participation, Orderly Principles and Budgetary Discipline. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative and case study, application of village management principle in certain village. Locations in Jatiroto Village Jatiroto District Lumajang District with participants from the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Treasurer, Implementation Team, Village Assistant, BPD and Community Leaders The results show the implementation of Jatiroto village financial management as follows; (1) The application of the principle of transparency has generally been implemented, although it needs to be optimized with media enrichment. (2) Accountability of village financial management is quite good, but there are some things that need to be strengthened, and improve management performance. (3) The management of village finances in Jatiroto village is quite participatory, some of the things that demonstrate this principle is the involvement of the community in the process of running activities, although it still needs to be improved, (4) The application of orderly principles and budgetary discipline, is basically already underway in every stage of village financial management that is run, some obstacles due to technical problems, such as facilities, competencies, and workload

Abstract

This research aims to develop a typical batik design lumajang more varied and interesting for consumers by utilizing arithmetic pattern. This is because the typical batik lumajang has a pattern that is monotonous and has a design that is limited enough to make batik lumajang less able to competence with batik from other regions. One of the motifs that are often used by producion of batik lumajang is banana motif and batik semeru motif. On the other hand batik industry competition is quite tight, hail is evidenced by innovative batik designs are growing rapidly from other regions. This makes indutry batik lumajang less well developed. The application of arithmetic method pattern on batik design is expected to add the basic design of typical batik lumajang. The method of this research is done by 5 stages, namely the determination of the basic frame of batik design, setting the position of the point to the triangle frame, constructing the line segment on the triangle frame, filling the motif of the fraction of the triangle frame, the coloring of the base motif of the triangle field.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Halal Label and price partially and simultaneously to Consumer Purchase Decision on Sedaap Noodle Products. The research type used is descriptive with causal associative approach. This research was conducted with the number of respondents as many as 30 people. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple linear regression analysis for hypothesis through SPSS 16 for windows program. Based on research results obtained that partially label hala and price effect on consumer purchasing decisions on noodle products sedaap. While simultaneously halal label and price influence to consumer purchasing decision on noodle product sedaap. The amount of influence of halal label and price proved to have an effect on to consumer purchase decision on noodle product sedaap indicated by determination value (R2) equal to 0,61 while the rest equal to 39% influenced by other variable like product, place, promotion and others.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of student satisfaction on dimensions of quality education services either partially or partial. Dimensions of the quality of education services consist of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Respondents were 60 students STIE Widya Gama Lumajang. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, by first testing the research instrument, namely the validity and reliability. The results showed that partially there are two variables that affect student satisfaction is assurance and empathy, while simultaneously dimensions of service quality education consisted of five variables affect the student satisfaction. 52.9% student satisfaction can be explained by the independent variables are physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, while the remaining 47.1% of student satisfaction is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

Employee motivation is important for a district office and is used to measure the success of the leadership and work environment in improving employee motivation. This study aims to determine and analyze employee perceptions of leadership and work environment in improving employee motivation. Respondents in this study are civil servants in the District office in Lumajang Regency totaling 78 people. Data analysis used is instrument test which includes validity and reliability test, classical assumption test include data normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Then multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis test. As an independent variable that is leadership and work environment, and the dependent variable is motivation. From the hypothesis test concluded that the two hypotheses that have been built are rejected. The results showed that the leadership perceived employees have no significant effect in improving motivation, meaning there is no important effect of leadership in increasing motivation. The employee's perceived work environment has no significant effect on improving motivation, meaning that the work environment does not have an important effect in increasing motivation. Based on the findings, leadership needs to get attention in improving employee motivation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the significant effect between profitability, investment decisions, funding decisions and dividend policy on corporate value. And to know the effect simultaneously between profitability, investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend policy on corporate value. research approach used in this research is quantitative approach. The population in this study are all companies that are members of the BLUE CHIPS stock group listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010-2015. Sample selection method used is purposive sampling and analysis model used is multiple linier regression analysis. The results show that partially Profitability (ROA), Investment Decision (PER), and Decision Funding (DER) that does not affect the value of the company. While the dividend policy (DPR) affects the value of the company. Simultaneously, the result of the research shows that there is a significant influence between Profitability (ROA), Investment Decision (PER), Fund Decision (DER), and Dividend Policy (DPR) to Company Value (PBV). While the R Square value of 0389 or 38.9% indicates that the contribution of the influence of profitability (ROA), Investment Decision (PER), Funding Decision (DER), and Dividend Policy (DPR) to Company Value (PBV) of 38.9% and the balance of 61.1% influenced by other variables not included in this study.
