Journal of Education Research is a peer-refereed open-access journal which has been established for the dissemination of state of the art knowledge in the field of education. This Journal is published for time per year at March, June, September and December by Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal PAUD Indonesia. It is intended to be the journal for publishing original articles on the latest issues and trends occurring in education curriculum, instruction, learning, policy, and preparation of teachers with the aim to advance our knowledge of education theory and practice. Moreover, this journal also covers the issues concerned with environmental education. All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers through the blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal. Abstract

The problem in the research is that group A students at BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten, do not yet have the ability to recognize optimal numbers in terms of mentioning numbers 1 to 10, counting objects, mentioning the order of objects, and connecting objects with number symbols. So how is the implementation of playing bowling to improve the ability to recognize numbers in group A children at BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten. And how to increase the ability to recognize numbers through bowling for group A children at BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten.The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of bowling in improving the ability to recognize numbers in children of group A in BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten and to determine the increase in ability to recognize numbers through bowling in children of group A in BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach with 16 children in group A at BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten as research subjects. The research was carried out in two cycles, using qualitative data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation.The results showed that the implementation of learning to recognize numbers by playing bowling made the children of group A in BA Aisyiyah Wunut Tulung Klaten interested, which can be seen from the results of research with completeness before the action reached 0%, increased in cycle 1 it reached 25%, in cycle 2 it reached 50 %, so the child's ability to recognize numbers from pre-action and cycle II has increased by 50%.

Abstract

Munculnya variasi bahasa dalam masyarakat berupa jargon merupakan fenomena sosiolinguistik. Santri asrama Ibnu Sina pondok pesantren Darul Ulum Peterongan Jombang memiliki jargon yang unik mengenai kehidupan pondok pesantren yang hanya dipahami oleh anggota komunitas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan wujud jargon, mendeskripsikan fungsi jargon dan mendeskripsikan factor penggunaan jargon dalam interaksi santri di dalam pondok pesantren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan mengutamakan senior yang menguasai jargon tentang kehidupan dalam pondok pesantren. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, pengamatan, transkrip. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis induktif dengan  klasifikasi data dengan metode padan dan agih, reduksi, membatasi lingkup teori, menarik simpulan. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik trianggulasi, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, ekspert jugdmen. Hasil penelitian ditemukan wujud jargon sebagai bentuk kata serapan yang berasal dari Bahasa Arab dan Bahasa Jawa serta Bahasa Indonesia. Fungsi dari jargon tersebut adalah sebagai identitas sosial dan untuk memudahkan komunikasi dalam menyampaikan sebuah kosata agar tidak terjadi kesulitan dalam menyampaikan sebuah kosakata. Sedangkan factor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan jargon tersebut adalah bahwa komunitas santri memiliki prestise, image dan citra yang lebih baik ketika menguasai berbagai kosakata para santri tersebut
