Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fixed asset intensity, leverage, sales size and sales growth on tax avoidance in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2019. The research method used is quantitative method. The sample was determined based on the purposive sampling method and obtained a research sample of 30 issuers' financial statements. The sources used were secondary data in the form of financial reports and annual reports obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). The data processing program uses the Statictical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25 program.The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis and continued with requirements including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. The statistical method used to analyze the data using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis test with a significant level of 5%, the results of this study concluded that the variable intensity of fixed assets and firm size had an effect on tax avoidance, while the variables of leverage and sales growth had no effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study aims to explain about how to control the supply of raw materials in the Batik Tulis Trading Business "Jetis Sidoarjo". The method used in the quantitative approach. The research approach in this thesis uses a quantitative research approach with a descriptive approach. In the object of this research, namely the implementation of a raw material inventory control system to improve the quality of batik production in Kampoeng Batik Tulis Jetis SMEs. The subjects in this research are the UMKM Kampoeng Batik Tulis Jetis, Lemahpuro Village, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. With descriptive research, the researcher only intends to describe (describe) or explain the symptoms that are currently happening. The results of this study can be concluded that using the calculation of safety stock and reordering is more effectively used in controlling raw material inventory when compared to current company policies. Companies can predict or avoid shortages or excess raw materials that can result in disruption of the production process by setting a safety stock calculation and also setting a re-order point, so the company can know or predict when to reorder and obtained with minimal inventory costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Green Marketing, Green Packaging and Green Brand Image on Repurchase Intention at Greensmart Sidoarjo. This research is a descriptive research using quantitative methods. Sampling in this study was carried out using the Non Probability Sampling technique with the Accidental Sampling method and the number of samples in this study was 150 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. This study uses multiple linear regression techniqueby using the SPSS version 20 program to analyze the data accurately. The results, this study has proven that Green Marketing has not an effect on Repurchase Intention, Green Packaging has an effect on Repurchase Intention, and Green Brand Image has an effect on Repurchase Intention at Greensmart in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This research aims analyze the effect of liquidity ratio, profitability, and activity on the amount of the remaining operating results of cooperatives in Sidoarjo Regency in 2019-2020. This research uses secondary data. This research method uses quantitative, the population in this study is 720 active cooperatives in Sidoarjo Regency and 21 cooperatives during 2019-2020 period which are used as research samples. The sample selection in this research was taken with the type of probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques using documentation. The data analysis technique used SPSS version 26. The results in this research indicate that the liquidity ratio partially affects the amount of the remaining operating results of cooperatives, the profitability ratio partially has no effect on the amount of the remaining operating results of cooperatives, and the activity ratio partially has no effect on the amount of the remaining results of cooperative operations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work practices, and employee work discipline on employee performance in the hospitality industry (Case Study: Hotel Utami Juanda). The method used in this research is a quantitative approach. Sampling in this study was conducted by saturated sampling method, with the number of respondents as many as 52 respondents, employees of Hotel Utami Juanda. The data analysis technique used in this study used the SPSS version 24 program.The results of this study prove that the work environment does not partially affect the performance of Utami Juanda Hotel employees, work practices have a partially significant effect on the performance of Utami Juanda Hotel employees, employee work discipline has a partially significant effect on the performance of Utami Juanda Hotel employees and the work environment, practice Work, and Employee Discipline have a simultaneous effect on Employee Performance in the Hospitality Industry (Case Study: Hotel Utami Juanda).

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of accounting conservatism, firm size, company growth, and capital structure on the earnings response coefficient. This research method uses quantitative research methods, data collection used documentation studies in the form of secondary data sources of financial statements and stock prices in Property, Real Estate, and Building Construction companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2019. The research’s population are the Property, Real Estate, and building construction companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2017-2019 as much as 81 companies. Sampling method were selected by using non probability sampling purposive sampling with certain criteria and obtained as much as 34 companies. Anlyze the data used SPSS 26. The result shows that accounting conservatism, firm size, and company growth have no effect on the earnings response coefficient while capital structure has effect and significant on the ernings response coefficient.

Abstract

Many previous sources have described various factors that affect firm value so that there are inconsistencies between one study and another. For this reason, this study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, capital structure, investment decisions and Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) on firm value. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The data used is a type of secondary data. The population in this study are all property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period as many as 60 companies. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis technique with the help of SPSS 25 application. The result of this research is that liquidity and capital structure variables have no effect on firm value. On the other hand, the investment decision variables and the Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) are considered to have a partial effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether company size, capital structure and cash flow have an effect on firm value in construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2020 period. The method used is quantitative. In this study, the type of data used was secondary data with data collection techniques using the documentation method, as well as sampling using the purposive sampling method. Population data as many as 16 companies, and obtained a sample of 8 companies. in this study using SPSS. The results of this study are firm size has no significant effect on firm value, capital structure has no significant effect on firm value, cash flow has no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to strengthen the promotion strategy of the Umama instant hijab brand on purchasing decisions among students in the Sidoarjo area. This study examines respondents, namely students in the Sidoarjo area who have known and used Umama's instant hijab products in their daily lives. The method used is quantitative research with a sample of 100 students. Data collection at the interval level was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis used is the outer model test and the inner model test on the Smart PLS software application. The results of this study indicate that strengthening the promotion strategy has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.
