Abstract

Abstract: Knowing the position of the other buses that are operating in the same direction so that the distance between the bus with the other one is not too close to an obstacle to the economic inter-city bus crew inter-provincial Department of Surabaya - Semarang. The management company also has constraints in knowing the position of each fleet in operation. This process is still difficult because of the unavailability of adequate facilities. One solution to overcome the above problems is to develop a Bus Fleet Monitoring Applications Using GPS Tracking on Android Smartphone. This system consists of android mobile applications and websites that connect to the same database. This application is equipped with GPS Logger feature that serves to coordinate the storage position to the bus fleet in the database periodically and automatically. This application is useful to know the position of the bus fleet in operation. Making it easier for the company's management in monitoring and helping the crew bus know the position and the distance between the bus. Based on the resulting application and testing that has been done, then the management company utilizing this application can monitor the bus fleet. The bus crew also can determine the position of the other buses that are operating in the same direction. Where the information is presented in the form of a marker on a digital map and notification in the form of sirens sound for a few seconds to a warning if the distance between the bus is 5 kilometers.

Abstract

RMIB is a test designed to measure people's interest based on their attitude towards a job. This method is combining people's intellectual ability (skill) with interest and talent, this method could help them discovering a suitable job based on their interest and talent. However, there are some obstacles when the psychologist will apply this method, such as; number of participant, time and place if they are from different city. Therefore, an application has been designed in order that the psychologist can find it easier when they are doing the test. As a result, the clients coming from other cities or other islands can take a part on the test . From 10 people including the respondent and the psychologist, 80% of them stated that they are agree with the existence of this application. This application is completely helpful and easy to use. Moreover, it is supported with chatting facility which simplifies the consultation process in which the client is able to consult the psychologist indirectly or without face-to-face activity. Abstract

During this time in doing receipt of customer orders, PT Dwi Prasetya Nusantara Works still experienced constraints because there is no regulatory process in the reduction of the amount of the stock tools of work and material. Method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) is required to create an application setting materials and tools work-based websites that can help sales manager to perform acceptance customer orders accurately and quickly. Applications can provide information about the materials and work tools data, and can deliver results in the form of the report results.By using this application, the sales manager can accelerate the process of service especially in performing the acceptance of customer orders.

Abstract

CV Sinar Baja Electric is a manufachured with  operational activities in producing speaker. In the process of production machinery needed to support performance,cutting machine is one of the assets owned CV Sinar Baja Electric. The use of production machines that exceeds the productive age, so often a mechanical failure resulting in stoppage of production. Constraints in the management of their assets, that maintenance is performed if there is any damage, there is no schedule for asset maintenance control production machine periodically, so frequent damage and age the use of the asset becomes shorter than its economic life. Based on the above issues, was made asset management information system applications that can provide detailed information and its report of an asset management, and can perform asset management company that has been updated. The system is expected to speed up production performance.Asset management application that can provide data input engine assets more quickly and accurately, so that by the time the information needed by the user data is ready and solve the problems that companies face in providing information to those who need it accurately.

Abstract

Auto 2000 is a network of sales, repair, parts providers of Toyota, and maintenance that management is fully handled by a company. Astra Internasional Tbk. Auto 2000 is currently the largest automotive company in Indonesia which controls approximately 42% of Toyota's total sales. Auto 2000 there is a workshop that will serve or meet customer complaints contained in cars under the Toyota brand. Currently what happens in Auto 2000 Kenjeran, especially in the workshop service advisor (SA) is still looking for solutions or actions in case of problems with the car. At the time of checking by frequent customer waiting times become long, it creates a queue of cars to check for damage to the car. The misdiagnosis of damage by SA will be returned by the SA to recheck the damage done to the customer's car. By using the rule-based system method this method will work well when the problem starts from collecting / uniting information and then looking for what conclusions can be drawn from the information is able to analyze the kind of damage that occurs in the car engine. Questionnaire results from each position as follows, the head of the workshop gets a result of 100% with a percentage of the value is very appropriate, PTM gets a result of 100% with a percentage of very suitable value, FO gets a result of 96.66% with a percentage of very suitable value, SA gets a result of 99.16% with a percentage of very suitable value. The result of the alignment of positions is 99.10% which in the percentage of the value of the figure is included in the category is very appropriate.

Abstract

New student admission is important aspect in educational institution that directly connected with registration, entrance test, and admission. New student admission system gives impact for educational institution strategic goals, so that it can produce valid information according to educational institution needs and useful for basis decision making in subsequent development. Current condition in LP3I Surabaya regarding registration, academic test, interest and skill test cannot be held online so every applicants must come right away to do registration and tests.Based on the problem, it can do analyzing and making up application design for new students admission in LP3I Surabaya which is converted to digital and computerized data. To fulfill the need of it, online based system is made for LP3I Surabaya new student admission. This application making started from the beginning communication, planning, modeling, constructing, and operating.After doing trial, new student admission application can handle online registration, academic test and interest skill test online, as to be able to produce accurate data of registration, interest skill test, interview result, test result report, and admission result report. Keywords: application, new student admission, registration.

Abstract

PT. E-T-A Indonesia is a company that working in the area of manufacturing, which manufactures circuit breaker. There was a problem in PT. E-T-A Indonesia about measuring the effectiveness from TMC 1160 machine. The result from this condition is difficult to make the preventive maintenance who are used to achieve zero breakdowns. Another problem for company is in difficulties to early identify the waste / loss in order to achive zero loss which cause delayed on machine repairing. An application is offering to make a system which helping company for measurement the effectiveness by using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method for the operation of the machine by periodic. These create informations about effectiveness of engine performance and losses by OEE method.The results showed that application has been made to help company for giving measurement about the effectiveness of performance TMC 1160 machine and losses from TMC 1160 machine.Keywords : manufacturing, measurement of effectiveness, overall equipment effectiveness

Abstract

Tulungagung is one of regencies in East Java which has many various tourism object, from natural, historical, culinary, artificial, and shopping. Hence, the tourist should more selective in choosing tourism objects that suit their wants and needs. This tourism object selection is very important for travel convenience, so it does note cause problems for the tourist. In order to solve this problem, a Decision Support System for selecting a tourism object in Tulungagung was built. There are 5 criteria used: cost, distance, cleanliness, type of tourism, and facilities. In this research, the method that used is Profile Matching and this system was built on a web basis. The result of this research is that Decision Support System for choosing a tourism objects in Tulungagung can make tourist more easier for choosing tourism objects that suit their wants and needs. Keyword: Decision Support System, Tourism Object, Profile Matching

Abstract

PDAM Surya Sembada is a local company that is responsible for providing clean water in the city of Surabaya. As a local company that is responsible for serving the community, then PDAM Surya Sembada seeks to monitor the development of enterprise organizations that are useful to improve the quality of the company.To see the development of an organization is to assess the performance of Human Resources (HR), its called the assessment of performance based employee performance. Performance appraisal results can indicate whether HR (employees) on stretcher organization has met the objectives / targets as requested by the organization, both in quantity and quality, how the behavior of employees in carrying out their work, how the use of working time and so on.The benefits obtained by the application of employee performance evaluation based on job performance, among other things: work units can take into account the results of the work program achievement compared with the results achieved, the expected performance of employees will be more measurable, their feedback to improve performance, and the monitoring and evaluation of leadership in order to improve employee performance.
