Abstract

Recruitment and improvement of qualification (level of education and academic positions) of lecturer have to be well planned with proper calculation . This is related to the achievement of the highest grade for the accreditation in terms of the availability of a lecturer in a course of study , is also closely related to the allocation of funds per year that must be provided . Linear programming as one of the models in the Decision Support System, provides alternative optimal solutions for decision makers. Case studies are taken is a matter of planning the development of human resources, especially lecturer Universitas Budi Luhur. Existing conditions are formulated to Linear Programming models. By using the simplex algorithm an application is built to calculate the optimal value, created with the Java programming language , facilitate and accelerate the process of calculating the optimal value of the model.Results of this study are expected to determine the optimal number of lecturer from each study program including the required qualifications, so HRD department do planning & development as well.The results of the prototype test by adapting the software testing standards ISO 9126 concluded that prototype is feasible to use. Keywords : Linear Programming, DSS,Optimal Solutions, Minimum Cost, HRD

Abstract

Nowadays science and technology continues evolve follows the era development. Correspondingly, the need for accurate and fast information is also increasingly felt in all areas. Primary Medical Pharmacies is a company engaged in the sale of medicines and health supplements. The rapid development of business sales transactions which resulted in increasingly increased, so the impact on the supply of drugs should always be available to consumers. For that there needs to be a drug purchase control system is reliable. The purpose of this research is to design a drug purchasing system and apply it in the form of information systems. This study uses UML modeling techniques as one system. Implementation of this study using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 with the database used is Microsoft Access 2000. The results of the research is the design of information systems that can help the cash purchase transaction in Primary Medical Pharmacy so that later transactions become more effective and efficient which can encourage and enhance the progress of pharmacy. Abstract

Saat ini, semakin majunya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi menjadikan arus informasi menjadi lebih mudah untuk disampaikan dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Hal tersebut juga terjadi pada persaingan antar perusahaan yang ingin menghasilkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat dalam mengambil keputusan. PT. Arini Pentasindo adalah sebuah perusahaan yang melayani pembuatan Stage, Set, Dekorasi Indoor dan Outdoor untuk keperluan On Air maupun Off Air dan juga melayani Pembuatan Booth Pameran serta dekorasi untuk keperluan launching dan corporate gathering. Sistem yang ada pada PT. Arini Pentasindo saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual dan masih terjadi permasalahan antara lain seperti sulitnya pencarian data barang tertentu oleh bagian gudang, perhitungan stok persediaan barang yang tidak dilakukan setiap hari dan pimpinan kesulitan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang persediaan barang yang tersedia di gudang serta tidak diketahui barang yang sering dipesan dalam menjalankan proses produksi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu diusulkan sebuah pemodelan sistem informasi yang dapat membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dengan menggunakan UML modeling tool. Dengan adanya pemodelan sistem informasi persediaan barang ini diharapkan dapat membantu PT. Arini Pentasindo dengan mengatasi masalah-masalah yang masih terjadi dan membantu kelancaran dalam proses produksi. Keywords: persediaan barang, pemodelan sistem,uml

Abstract

Communications is technology is growing very rapidly as more public demand for technology, one o the technologies the mobile phone or the more familiar with the digital cellular phone or mobile phone. Now the mobile phone is an item that already owned by almost every element society. One of the features offered in the moblie phone to communicate than ie sms conversations. SMS is one medium that widely used, because sms has very cheap rate as compared to voice services or other services for communicating to the destination number. Never previously, imagined by the public that sms can used more as a medium of interpersonal communication in the form of text, but now people are able to use the sms service to the needs of the informastion in small capacity, for example, to find information in the school library. This reseacrh will be applied on a system based information services sms library which serves to receive, process and send back an sms containing the brief information students needed automatically without any operator direct reply to sms messages that will be sent to the school. With this system students are expected to feel the ease in getting information adn so similarly the school can provide the best service without being bothered to providing a special operator who will reply to the sms, because system will reply to the sms that sent automatically.Keyword: Libraries, mobile phone, informastion systems based SMS services

Abstract

Personnel Management is an essential part in managing the organization effectively, currently, almost all public or private enterprises, organizations and institutions are already using personnel administration system which is served for managerial and technical operation. Recently in serving the personnel administrative process of Director General of National Export Development, Indonesian Ministry of Trade, they already use microsoft Office. By using these system for presenting Information, they feel that the system is not optimal. Therefore, they design a computerized system by using object oriented method, in processing administration for reducing shortages of the running system in order to improve the information quality produced. Abstract

Construction of oil and gas product storage facilities is one of the oil and gas activities in the downstream sector. A common impact on the environment from oil and gas activities is in the form of pollution of land, water, or air, it is necessary to identify the level of vulnerability to pollution early, areas that are sensitive to pollution are the main concern. The results of the initial identification of the level of vulnerability to pollution are shown in the map of the level of vulnerability to pollution processed using a geographic information system using the method of interpolation, weighting, and overlapping. The results of the initial identification of the level of vulnerability to pollution at the location of the oil and gas product storage facilities are divided into 3 (three) classes of vulnerability levels, low, medium, and high. The study area is in a relatively medium to high level of vulnerability with a high level of vulnerability being near the sea, so it needs high attention in its management.

Abstract

Posisi antena penerima dengan posisi yang berubah-ubah dapat mempengaruhi posisi pointing ke satellite. Agar dapat bergerak mengikuti  arah azimuth dan elevasi satellite maka dibuatlah  suatu rancang bangun alat agar bisa mendapatkan sinyal terbaik dari satellite. Tujuan dari projek ini adalah agar mempermudah pekerjaan dalam menentukan arah sinyal dan posisi satellite dengan sebuah bluetooth HC05 berbasis android smartphone. Kontroler yang digunakan adalah chip hemat biaya dengan daya rendah. Chip yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan berbagai modul sensor secara realtime. Dari pengujian alat dihasilkan ketelitian dan waktu tanggap  yang cepat dari sistem pengendalian berbasis android ini. Kata kunci : Satellite, Antena, Azimuth, Elevasi, Android smartphone

Along with the times and technology, it turns out that the demand for information is increased. The information required should also be obtained quickly and accurate. From a variety of technologies to obtain information, one of which is search engine. The role of technology search engine becomes increasingly important in information technology, especially in obtaining the up-to-date information. For example, sometimes we want to know what information is held by an area in the rest of the world, because maybe the area is an area of our prospects or a resource area. This study will discuss the development of simple search engine application by using depth first search method. Abstract

E-Commerce merupakan sebuah pendekatan baru dalam mengelola perdagangan sehingga dapat memaksimumkan penjualan. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan untuk mempertahankan keberadaan suatu perusahaan dalam persaingan di dunia perdagangan bisnis konveksi dan perusahaan dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Kehadiran E-Commerce sebagai media transaksi jual beli ini tentunya memberikan keuntungan ke semua pihak. Proses transaksi menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat dengan menggunakan internet dan semua barang juga bisa langsung dapat dijual dan dapat dilihat ketersediaan barang berbasis web. Memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan mengenai berapa banyak kebutuhan yang dipesan dapat dilihat secara cepat, pemenuhan order dan pengiriman barang tepat waktu sehingga pelanggan mendapatkan kepuasan dalam melakukan pemesanan, pemasukan data dengan menggunakan validasi yang diperlukan, melakukan pembaruan katalog dengan rapi dan dapat memberikan informasi bagi manajemen dengan meminimalisir kesalahan dalam pembuatan laporan. Penelitian ini menggunakan fishbone diagram dalam mendefinikan penyebab dan efek masalah dari bisnis konveksi, observasi, wawancara, analisa dokumen dan studi kepustakaan. WebML untuk pemodelan konseptual yaitu data design dan hypertext design. E-Commerce untuk menangani transaksi jual beli online ini memiliki  fitur-fitur diantaranya manajemen data master seperti produk, kategori dan kota tujuan pengiriman. Abstract

This research is aimed to measure the students’ satisfaction of SIAK-NG. SIAK-NG is an information system to facilitate the students in Universitas Indonesia to plan the students’ studies. This is a Quantitative Research. Meanwhile the question of this research is do the students’ satisfy to the information security in SIAK-NG. The students’ satisfaction will effect to the quality of this University. Primary data was taken from the field survey by spreading the questionnaire to the sample which are selected. The researcher use Ramdom sampling in choosing the samples because it deals directly with the system. Secondary data obtained from various sources, both within the institution and outside the institution as well as books and records relating to the problem under study. The data obtained will be used for the descriptive data analysis with statistical methods. The test results and analysis are expected to provide results on the allegation the influence of variables on student satisfaction information security.Keyword: Next-Generation Student Academic Information Systems (SIAK-NG), Information Security, Student Satisfaction.
