Abstract

Test of three types of growth media Trichoderma sp. and the effectiveness of antagonists against Fusarium sp. in vitro. Trichoderma sp. is a fungus that is found in almost all types of soil and is one type of fungus that can be used as a biological agent to control plant pathogens. Fungal growth is generally strongly influenced by a number of factors including temperature, light, air, pH and nutrients such as carbon and nitrogen such as PDA, bran and banana peels. This study aims to obtain effective conidia that meet the requirements as biological agents, and the media is easy to obtain and the price is relatively cheap. The results showed that the most effective medium was PDA media, namely the number of spores (6.7 x 108), viability (90.66%) and inhibition reached (68.11%), but relatively expensive. While the bran media showed results below PDA media, namely the number of spores (4.8 x 108), viability / germination (89.33%), and the antagonism test of Trichoderma sp. against Fusarium sp. The results of propagation on bran media had an inhibitory power of up to (62.22%) so that the media could be used as an alternative as a substitute medium. Furthermore, the number of banana peel media spores (2.58 x 108), viability (85.33%) and inhibition (61.48%). Key Word : Effectiveness, Medium , Trichoderma sp, Fusarium sp, Antagonism. PENDAHULUAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sub-sector of annual plantation crops which are the superior products of each sub-district in Jombang Regency. This research was conducted from June to August 2020. The data collection method in this study used descriptive quantitative. Secondary data were taken from related sources and calculated using location quotient (LQ) analysis. The results of the LQ analysis of land area and production of each sub-district are described and identified to determine the influencing values. The annual plantation products in Jombang Regency during the period 2014-2018 are clove, cocoa, coconut, and coffee plants. The sub-districts that have a production base value and clove plantation area are Together and Wonosalam Districts. For cocoa plants, the sub-districts that have a production base value and cocoa land area are Bareng and Wonosalam sub-districts. For coconuts, the sub-districts that have a coconut production base value are Bandar Kedung Mulyo, Mojowarno, Wonosalam, Sumobito, Peterongan, Jombang, Megaluh, Tembelang, Kesamben, Ploso, Kabuh, and Plandaan sub-districts. Mulyo, Mojowarno, Wonosalam, Sumobito, Peterongan, Jombang, Megaluh, Tembelang, Ploso, and Plandaan. For coffee plants, the sub-district that has a coffee production base value is the Bareng sub-district and Wonosalam for the sub-district which has a coffee base area is the Wonosalam sub-district.

Abstract

This research was conducted at September – November 2020 with the aim of knowing the types of pests and diseases that predominantly attack lime in Perak District, Jombang Regency. This research is descriptive quantitative, namely direct sampling from the observation location, using traps such as trap holes, trap nets and direct observations on lime plantations. Sampling of all plants will be the sampling point (30 plants. Observations were made 10 repetitions, with an observation time interval of 3 days. The pest data obtained were identified and analyzed using the abundance index (K) and Dominant index (C) formulas. The pest identification study obtained 504 individuals consisting of 6 species. The highest insect abundance (K) value was found in the Coccidae family with the Order Homoptera, which was 53,968. The dominance index value was 0.29 indicating the result that there was no dominant family in this study planting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine the morphological characteristics of vegetative and generative growth and the characteristics of guava bol gondang sweet and guava bol jamaica in Gondang Manis village, Bandar Kedungmulyo district, Jombang regency, East Java. The research was carried out from May to July 2021 by selecting 5 samples of guava bol gondang sweet and 5 samples of guava bol jamaica. The research was conducted by direct observation and compiled using descriptive methods, namely simplifying and organizing data to obtain an overall picture of the object being observed. This research was carried out by direct observation by taking the type of research that described in detail and systematically the growth of vegetative and generative morphology of guava varieties gondang sweet and guava bol jamaica. Based on observations of vegetative and generative morphology growth of guava plants, guava bol gondang sweet and guava bol jamaica include tree plant habitus, plant height range, leaf area, leaf width, leaf length, petiole shape, petiole color, color of the upper surface of the leaf, color of the lower surface. leaf, leaf base shape, leaf tip shape, leaf edge, leaf shape, stem color, stem circumference, stem shape, number of main branches, flower location, number of petals, flower type, flower color, fruit shape, fruit circumference, fruit weight ,flesh thickness, fruit length, purple fruit color, seed shape, number of seeds, seed weight and seed circumference. Keywords : Generative, guava gondang sweet, guava jamaica, vegetative

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the biodiversity of indigenous fungal in the Gondang Manis Jamaican Aplle plant in Jombang Regency under drought stress. The research was carried out in July 2020. Exploration was carried out on the soil in the rhizosphere and plant tissue, which has the potential to support its resistance in dry season conditions so as to maintain the quality and quantity of Gondang Manis Jamaican Apple as a superior local plant. There were seven morphologically identified fungal species in the soil rhizosphere and plant parts of Gondang Manis Jamaican Apple in Jombang Regency during dry season stress, namely Trichoderma sp., Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Fusarium sp., Beauveria sp., Mikoriza sp., and Metarhizium sp, and there was one fungus that has not been identified. The highest number of fungal species was found in the rhizosphere soil, and Trichoderma sp was the fungus found in all samples. Meanwhile, Metarhizium sp, was more commonly found in the leaves of plants. Fungal species Trichoderma sp., Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Beauveria sp., Mycorrhiza sp., and Metarhizium sp. is located as a biological agent, while Fusarium sp. is included in plant pathogenic fungi
