Abstract

Indonesia has the potential mineral resources such as gold, silver, copper, nickel, tin, lead, aluminum, iron, manganese, chromite, petroleum, natural gas, coal, iodine, various salts, various industrial minerals (asbestos, bentonite, zeolite, sulfur, phosphate, limestone and others), precious stones including diamonds and building materials. Allegedly, potential mineral resources owned by Indonesia rank 6th in the world. Undeniably, mineral resources as one of the natural resource, a resource that is very important in supporting the Indonesian economy. Even some types of minerals, namely oil and gas, has become a cornerstone of the economy. However, mineral resources have not been managed for the maximum welfare of the people, especially the people around which is still classified as poor. After doing research, made mineral resource management model based on community empowerment through financial inclusion, namely training, provision of appropriate technology, Assistance, Post Management and Financing.

Abstract

Activating Students Learning Through Numeral Card With Letter Card in Math and Indonesian Language Lessons in Elementary School. Teacher who teach classically will not fulfill her aim, until the students become passive. If this is happened continuously, it will ensue fatally. The students interest toward lesson will decrease so that the score will become lower. Those problem should be handled with teaching method which using media, in the case of the writer used numeral card and letter card as a media. It can be hoped with those media, the students activity will increase so that learning aim can be reached. The research has done with the research object are students in Ia grade SDN 2 Kelapa Tujuh Kecamatan Kotabumi Selatan Lampung Utara that amounted 30 students. The lesson which will research is Math and Indonesian Language lessons. As we can see in finding data and reflection, activity in learning is increased. The students become more aggressive toward lesson which is delivered by teachers. Learning process become more alive and meaningful. The lesson comprehension process will become faster because the students attract to understand the lesson. The students who did not want to ask become little extrovert and brave to ask. It can be seen from the increasing of score percentage in Math and Indonesian Language lesson. The increasing of score indirectly caused by the applying of media in learning process of both lessons.

Abstract

Genetic diversity of rabbitfish (Siganus) and cobia (Ranchycentron canadum) from Indonesia and Taiwan was compared. Rabbitfish was fisheries commodities and cobia was cultured in Taiwan and Indonesia. Study aimed to compared genetic diversity of both species as a references for conservation and culture species. Finger printing DNA method were AFLP (amplified fragment length polymorphism) within two primers use to assesed their diverence. Multivariate analysis was used to amount statistical similarities within DNA fragments of AFLPs. Results showed there is two different species of rabbitfish within Hurun Bay of Lampung were Siganus fuscescens dan S.gutattus. Indepth analysis also shown rabbitfish from Taiwan was different with Indonesia showed by genetic distance. These results showed there is no relation within ancestor of rabbitfish from this two locations.Contrast with cobia, Taiwan stocks seperated in two groups and one of Indonesia group joined with Taiwan group and the other independently. These results showed cobia from Indoneisa only limited population of cobia from Taiwan. This study recommended rabbitfish from Hurun Bay of Lampung was pure and genetically approved as cultue fish species. Indonesia may use other cobia stocks from Taiwan, in case there is inbreeding depression threats the established Indonesia cobia stocks.

Abstract

Livestock waste can reduce the quality of the environment if not managed properly, on the other hand livestock waste can be processed into a source of energy that can be utilized by the household. Livestock waste is processed into biogas by anaerobic fermentation process. Biogas is one of renewable energy and environmentally friendly. Biogas energy can be obtained from household waste water; liquid waste from chicken, cow, pig farms; organic waste from the market; food industry and so on. To convert livestock wastes into biogas, a series of devices called biogas reactors are needed. The use of a biogas reactor system has the advantage of reducing greenhouse gases, reducing odor, preventing the spread of disease, heat, power (mechanical / electrical) and byproducts of solid and liquid fertilizers. Biogas reactors are divided into three types: floating type, fixed dome type, and balloon type. The recommended type of biogas reactor for biogas processing of livestock waste is fixed dome type reactors because it has advantages such as construction cost is cheaper than floating reactor, can be done by breeder, more durable than balloon type reactor, and easier maintenance.

Abstract

Spiny lobster fisheries in Lampung Province Indonesia has been developed since 1980. Local fisherman catched and sold spiny lobsters to local dealers before marketed to consumers. Only limited studies has been recorded about spiny lobsters fisheries, in particular for biology and social-economics aspects those may support spiny lobster development in the future. This study conducted in August until December 2016 with indepth survey to several local lobsters fisherman and dealer. This study showed, spiny lobster fisheries not developed rapidly. More over, decreased volume with limited valuable species and small size spiny lobster found in catch season. It is need to develop lobster fisheries not only limited to catched but also aquaculture.Spiny lobsters also need to develop to advances knowledge to support increasing demand and conserve their resources with stocks enhancing within lobsters biology relevances. Road maps were develop for short and long terms research as a guidelines for public to follow in particular for reproductive physiology. This paper also discuss about not allowing for puerulus and egg berried female catch and sold regulations and their effect to spiny lobster fisherman.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the effect of Lampung perlite which used as mortar aggregate material against compressive strength. Perlite used is the mesh size 40. Variations of composition used are 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4 and 1: 5 (cement: perlite). Analyzes conducted include water content, specific gravity, mud content, absorption and characterization of X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). The test is a compressive strength test with a 14 day test life. The result of raw material analysis shows that the perlite meets the standard as a mortar aggregate material and has a high Si content of 57.06%. The best compressive strength is obtained on mortar with a 1: 2 (cement 1: perlite 2) composition of 156.8 kg/cm2. The compressive strength of the mortar decreased with increasing number of perlite in 1: 3, 1: 4 and 1: 5 compositions with a compressive strength value of 84 kg/cm2, 70 kg/cm2 and 33.6 kg/cm2, respectively. This decrease is caused by excessive SiO2 content so that it binds to the free CaO contained in the cement and forms Ca(OH)2. Ca(OH)2 causes the mortar density to decrease and result in the formation of air cavities.

Abstract

Efforts to increase soybean production are constrained by soil problems. The soil in Lampung area most of the Yellow Padsolik type of soil, characterized by the minimal availability of nutrients, but for the development of soybean is still wide open, especially now the government is seeking self-sufficiency in soybean in 2019. This study aims to see the influence bokashi on soybean production of varieties of anjasmoro. The research was conducted at Lampung Agricultural Training Center, January to April 2017 using a randomized block design with 4 (four) treatments, repeated three times. ie Without Bokashi (B0), Bokashi 5 ton / ha (B1), Bokashi 7.5 ton / ha (B2), and Bokashi 10 ton / ha (B3). This study aims to determine the effect of bokasi in increasing soybean production of anjasmoro varieties. The data was processed by fingerprint and if there is difference of median value of treatment followed by the test of the Smallest Different Beda (BNT), at 5% level. The results showed that the application of bocation had no significant effect on the number of branches per plant, the number of books per plant and the number of root nodules per plant. The application of 15 ton / ha of bokasi gave seed yield per plant and per heavier plot compared with other treatments ie 13.17 g per plant and 16.64 kg per plot. Bokashi 5 ton / ha (B1), and Bocation Applications of 10 ton / ha (B2), were not significantly different, ie 11.33 g and 14.16 kg per plot respectively (equivalent to 1 , 42 ton / ha); 10.67 g and 13.52 kg per plot (equivalent to 1.35 ton / ha) 11.67 g and 14.90 kg per plot (equivalent to 1.49 ton / ha)
