Abstract

Inclusive education in elementary schools is more than simply placing students with special needs (ABK) in regular classes. Assistant teachers, who assist ABK in the learning process and social interactions, are key to the successful implementation of inclusive education. The purpose of this study was to examine the roles, challenges, and approaches to managing assistant teachers in elementary schools from an Islamic psychology perspective. The method used was a literature review, which included reading various books, journals, and other sources relevant to the research topic. The results revealed that the teachers under supervision function as learning facilitators, social mediators, and emotional supporters. These roles align with the concepts of ihsan (doing good), rahmah (compassion), and ta'awun (helping each other), which are the foundations of interpersonal relationships from an Islamic psychology perspective. A spiritual approach through patience (sabr) and sincerity (ikhlas) is essential for maintaining the mental well-being of assistant teachers. Successful management requires institutional support, a psychopedagogical approach (the science and techniques of teaching), and spiritual guidance. Abstract

This study aims to assist the community of Megale Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency in optimizing local assets in the form of abundant banana frond and leaf waste, which has not been economically utilized. The method employed is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) with the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) cycle, involving 32 participants from the Fatayat, Muslimat, and PKK groups. The waste transformation process was conducted using simple distillation technology to extract phytochemical compounds, namely saponins and tannins, into anti-mosquito spray and aromatherapy products. The results indicated a significant increase in participants' knowledge capacity, with the average score jumping from 48.4 in the pre-test to 85.9 in the post-test (a 77.5% increase). In conclusion, banana waste processing through the ABCD approach is not only effective as a self-reliant health preventive solution but also serves as a milestone for local wisdom-based creative economic independence in rural areas.

Abstract

This community engagement activity aims to strengthen Islamic financial literacy among students of the Accounting and Financial Institutions Department (AKL) at SMKN 1 Bantul through the program “Smart Youth, Smart Finance, Smart Future.” The program was implemented using a descriptive qualitative approach within a community service framework, employing interactive lectures, discussions, and reflective activities. Data were collected through observation, field notes, and documentation to capture participants’ responses and understanding. The results indicate that the program successfully enhanced students’ awareness of smart financial management based on Islamic principles, including distinguishing between needs and wants, avoiding consumptive behavior, and understanding the ethical and social dimensions of finance. Students also gained a broader perspective on financial planning and the importance of managing wealth responsibly and sustainably. Overall, this program demonstrates that Islamic financial literacy education delivered through participatory community engagement can effectively support the development of financially literate, ethical, and future-oriented youth.
