TATHWIR: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam
Jurnal Tathwir adalah jurnal ilmiah tentang isu-isu sosial dan perkembangan masyarakat Islam. Jurnal ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada bulan April 2009 oleh Departemen Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI), Fakultas Dakwah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Nama Jurnal Tathwir terinspirasi dari semangat perubahan yang merupakan derivasi dari kata “tathwir” (perubahan). Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala setiap bulan April dan Oktober. Jurnal Tathwir memuat artikel-artikel dari hasil penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kajian ilmu-ilmu sosial keagamaan.

Examining the fulfillment of the solutions needed for the nation's children through various forms of education to instill a pure understanding of spirituality that no longer matches the physical level. By using a method library research, articles that need to be done in providing education for our young generation in terms of communication on religious development, including the role of the government as the relevant authority and religious leaders, the community, and communication media in perpetuating this development. Contacts related to intercultural and cross-cultural and religion in Indonesia. The multi-track communication model as one of the various integrated educational tools is needed in this regard. <![CDATA[The background of this research is the priority of the community to carry out savings and loans in BMT. Limited budget so it does not meet the needs. Lack of enthusiasm for human resources because it is accepted that those who do not meet the needs. The formulation of this research problem is the BMT strategy of Al Jamaah Al-Amanah in improving the community's economy in the Koto Tangah District of Padang City? The purpose of this study 1). To find out the strategy in formulating a plan that will be implemented. 2). To find out the strategy in implementing the program that has been formulated. 3). To learn the strategies in the evaluation of programs that have been implemented. The research method used is a qualitative method using descriptive. While data collection techniques and tools use observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data management is done by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, then compared / opened data. The results showed that: a. a strategy in formulating a plan that will be implemented to collect and channel funds with a fair profit sharing system, b. Strategies in the implementation of the program are formulated as productive financing, both intended as working capital and investment, the public can choose the BMT financing model. <![CDATA[This study raises the issue of community participation in the city of Padang in the general election on April 17, 2019. Found in the field there are still many people who do not exercise their voting rights or abstentions, it is because many people work daily. Another problem that occurred in the city of Padang was a number of polling stations that did re-voting, amounting to 46 polling stations. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the participation of the people of Padang in the elections on 17 April 2019, this research aims to obtain data and analyze and discuss how the Participation of the People of Padang in the Election on 17 April 2019. The population in this study were members of the Padang City Election Commission (KPU), Padang City Election Supervisory Board (PPL), and Padang City Communities. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research data was collected from data sources and then, data collection can be done in various settings, various sources, and various ways. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the Participation of Padang City People in the Election on April 17, 2019 was in the Good category with a percentage of 79.60%. For this reason it is expected that the General Election Commission (KPU) of Padang City will pay more attention and is expected to provide support, both in providing counseling on the importance of the people's suffrage for the progress of the Indonesian state by participating in general elections in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[In Jorong Lubuk Gadang there are two stalls that are in the spotlight for the community, both stalls only provide coffee and tea types, but now it has been added to liquor, karaoke and gambling gambling. Stalls are only available to add lighting (dimly lit). This condition if left unchecked will certainly disturb and influence the surrounding community, especially the younger generation. This is the concern and question of the author, concerning public attention to the discussion of the dimly lit shop? In finding answers to these conditions, it is done by studying and exploring these considerations by research. This study aims to describe the forms of public awareness of the dimly lit stalls against Islamic Counseling Guidance in Jorong Lubuk Gadang. This research is a field research, using qualitative descriptive methods that are methods that describe and describe events in accordance with the actual situation. The data source in this study is community leaders. Data collection techniques carried out through observation and interviews. Then the data is completed and analyzed. The results of the study found that (1) The form of mamak ninik's concern for the dimly lit stalls is to have empathy for the community and for the visitors, namely finding what is understood by the community, which is meant by the establishment of the dimly lit community stalls that are told fretically and is also often sought after . Another form of caring giving help is morale to the stall owner. Help is given by praying for the owner of the stall to be aware of his actions. The next form of concern is to behave prosocially towards the community. Prosocial behavior in mamak ninik is by inviting the community to work together to ask for the approval of the dimly lit shop to the invited party. (2) The form of concern of religious scholars to the dimly lit shop is to go to the location of the dimly lit shop to be discussed earlier to prevent the establishment of the dimly lit shop. (3) A clever form of caring for the dimly lit shop is to fight warmly against fellow community members, always kind and gentle towards the community, coming to this shop to reprimand the owner of the warung immediately to make an agreement and report to the person invited.]]>

<![CDATA[The issue of organizing a corpse is the most important issue that must be considered by every Muslim, because organizing a corpse is a kifayah obligation for the living. Likewise, the people of East Lunto, Sawah Lunto Regency, where the implementation of the remains of men is carried out by the Malin tribe. As for the remains of women carried out by Mrs. Anis. So it is not uncommon for bodies to be held too late especially for the bodies of women because the organizers are not yet present or cannot be present. For this reason, several strategies are carried out so that this problem can be overcome. The categories used are (1) lectures, (2) discussions, (3) mentoring. Based on the results of assistance to the people of East Lunto, Sawah Lunto Subdistrict, currently, the East Lunto community already has a death joint organization so that the bodies can be held quickly and in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad.]]>

<![CDATA[Women's economic problems have been discussed for a long time but until now it is still considered important to be discussed. Nagari Tanjuang Bonai, Kec. Lintau Buo Utara, Kab. Tanah Datar is one of the villages that is far from access to progress, for that LP2M as a non-governmental organization feels called to participate in empowering its women's groups. LP2M implements a women's empowerment program through the formation of natural dyes weaving groups. This paper wants to find out the form of women's empowerment and the impact obtained by women through the natural dye weaving group formed by LP2M in Nagari Tanjuang Bonai. Research conducted using qualitative research methods. Data obtained from primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by qualitative descriptive way by following the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that: the form of women's empowerment carried out by LP2M in Nagari Tanjuang Bonai namely in the form of weaving activities, providing knowledge about social protection, reproductive health and protection of violence against women and children. The impact of the assistance provided by LP2M to women's groups was the resolution of several problems in the community related to economic, social, and community problems that experienced domestic violence.]]>
