Abstract

Customs intelligence activities carried out by the intelligence unit are carried out in the context of early detection of violations in the field of customs and excise. One of the threats facing customs is the threat of smuggling which can be detrimental to the state and society. the purpose of this study is to determine customs intelligence supervision and the use of external data service applications that become customs intelligence analysis tools. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the first study show that the surveillance activities that have been carried out by customs intelligence are in accordance with the intelligence cycle which includes collection, assessment, analysis, distribution, evaluation and updating of data and/or information. Customs violations related to export-import activities can be categorized as smuggling crimes. The results of the second study show that customs intelligence analysts use external data service applications such as: Global Trade Atlas (GTA), Automatic Identification System (AIS), Marine Traffic, Sea Web, Panjiva, Questnet, Intelligence Media Analytics (IMA), and Intelligence Socio. Analytics (ISA) for targeting, profiling, and document research. Supervision by customs intelligence using the help of external data service applications is utilized by intelligence analysts as an analytical tool in order to anticipate the threat of smuggling.

Abstract

This research aims to study the continuous intention of mobile payment usage using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory with the extended model using perceived trust and subjective norms. A survey conducted through 25 questions questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale with a total of 158 respondents was obtained by multiplying indicators by 6, with SEM-PLS method using SmartPLS 4.0. The analysis shows that perceived satisfaction significantly affects continuance intention to use mobile. The effect of subjective norms on continuance intention to use mobile payment is significant, and perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have shown a positive relationship to perceived satisfaction. The perceived trust does not significantly affect the continuance intention to use mobile payment. In the previous study, continuance usage of mobile payment is conducted in South Africa, which is a gap in people's finances. The main limitation of this research is the limited data and a very diverse profile of respondents, which may have needed to be more fairly represented in this study. These results suggest that the mobile payment service provider effectively improves customer satisfaction. Gaining more trust in many aspects to make customers use mobile payment continuously. Perceived satisfaction has a positive relationship to keep the continuance intention to use mobile payment systems.

Abstract

The child protection system and criminal justice system in Indonesia face significant issues, including a lack of coordination and recognition of unique considerations for juveniles who commit sexual offenses. Children who become victims of sexual crimes that cause pregnancy are often subjected to abortion, which can be abortus provocatus criminalis, which occurs due to illegal actions or not based on medical indications. This research used a qualitative method and a stand-alone qualitative research design to analyze data related to the criminal justice of children as perpetrators of abortus provocatus criminalis due to promiscuity. The Juvenile Criminal Justice System in Indonesia includes criminal investigation and prosecution, juvenile trials, and coaching, guidance, supervision, and assistance during and after committing crimes. Law Number 11 of 2012 mandates diversion at the level of investigation, prosecution, and examination of child cases in the district court, but only for crimes threatened with imprisonment under 7 years and not repetition of crimes.

Abstract

This research aims to serve the development of teaching materials based on Powtoon animation videos for learning creative writing material for building short stories. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model was used to develop these materials. The needs analysis phase was carried out using an electronic form and received 52 completed questionnaires. The validation results of two experts show that the media and animated video material are very valid and can be used as a learning medium for writing short stories with an average score of 96%. It is hoped that the development of teaching materials based on Powtoon animated videos can support a more effective and interesting learning process, especially for Generation Z who grew up amid technological advances and learn by observing visually.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical creative thinking ability of students after being taught with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research that compares two learning models, namely, the problem-based learning model and the conventional learning model, and is designed as follows: (i) a research sample of 60 students was selected as the research sample, and (ii) the data from the research test of students' mathematical creativity ability was carried out 2 (two), namely pretests (before learning) and postes (after learning). From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the average pretest score of mathematical problem solving ability also increased in the control class, especially for fluency indicators, but from the average of the two classes, the average in the experimental class was higher than the control, which was 53.33%. The average N-gain of creative thinking abilities of students taught with PBM was 0.48 and in students teaching with conventional learning. It was known that the increase in student motivation that obtains a PBM is higher than those whose learning uses ordinary learning. Therefore, it is important for schools to socialize PBM to be applied in the learning process so that it can improve students' mathematics skills, especially the ability to think creatively mathematically and student learning motivation.
