Abstract

This research is a qualitatife descriptive study that aims to determine the role of BMT Bina Ummat Sejahtera through murabahah financing in an effort to strengthen the economy of MSMEs. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the study it was conclude that The role given by BMT was seen from capital and guidance. Capital plays a role in strengthening the economy of MSMEs, while the guidance given by BMT to members is not maximal because it is only seen from the monthly installments of members. Murabahah financing plays a role in strengthening the economy of MSMEs seen from the development of businesses characterized by the amount of income, profits, and labor. Also seen from welfare which is marked by the fulfillment of basic, additional, and educational needs.

Abstract

Employees are the most important factor to maximize quality and productivity. One instrument to increase productivity by means of work ethics and work ability. This research is a quantitative research that correlates usability to know whether there is or is not a relationship with ethics and the ability to work with productivity. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires issued for Bank Syariah Bukopin Surabaya employees and interviews. From the results of the research conducted, it shows that, there was a strong and significant relationship islamic work ethics with employee work productivity, there was a strong and significant relationship work ability with employee work productivity and there was a very strong and significant relationship between islamic work ethics and work ability with employee work productivity.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the effect of marketing mix sharia (product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence) towards loyalty of Umrah pilgrims in PT. Ikhwan Berkah Sejahtera. This research was conducted with an associative quantitative approach. Number of samples that used in this research is 93 respondents which came from umrah pilgrims 2017-2018 period and used simple random sampling technique. This research used a questionnaire that calculates with a likert scale and analyzed with SPSS 23. The result of this research shows that overall marketing mix sharia variable has a positive effect and significant to the loyalty of Umrah pilgrims. Based on the partial test result indicates that there are 2 positive effect variables and significant towards loyalty of Umrah pilgrims, that is promotion variable and process. As for based on the coefficient of determination test’s result, shows that marketing mix sharia variable have a big impact as big as 41,3% against loyalty of Umrah pilgrims’ variable

Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This purpose of this research is determine the achievement of financial inclusion indicators from the implementation Pusyar. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The results is Pusyar as a public policy that successfully maximizes the achievement of three indicators of financial inclusion. Access, usage and quality. Although, welfare is the fourth indicator, it has not been maximally achieved from this program. Pusyar is an example of the realization of public policy in accordance with the concept of Socio-Economic and Financial Restructure. Which this policy optimizes Islamic philanthropy in Islamic financial products to develop SMEs. in the end the policy resulted in the achievement of financial inclusion proces.

Abstract

Ms Glow is a beauty product that already gained halal certification on their products. As Muslim consumers, we must be selective in choosing beauty product that will be used in daily and proper with Islamic law. This research used qualitative descriptive method that aimed to find out Muslim consumers’ perception towards halal certification of Ms Glow beauty product. The findings of this research indicate that Muslim consumers have two perceptions, which are care and care less about halal certification. Muslim consumers who care about it are consumers who need all of Ms Glow products labelled with halal certification on the packaging even though they do not use it. Where as Muslim consumers who care less are consumers who does not concern about halal certification in all Ms Glow products, and they still use it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine practice the gold debts in Laban Village in terms of Islamic law. The qualitative method was used in this study with descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the giver and recipient of the gold debts. The analysis technique was used the field data analysis of the Miles and Hubberman models in this research. The result of the study was showed that the implementation of the gold debts in Laban village was still often carried out, this was due to the ease in filing debt. The gold debts in Laban village did not use any contract agreement in making initial agreements. The practice of gold debts in Laban village still contains elements of riba qardh which were come from an addition proportional to the value of the debt proposed, especially in taking additional items that were not accompanied by an agreement with the recipient of the debt. The solution to avoid gold debts from riba by relying debt with a formidable sale and purchase contract, therefore, that was allowed to take profits (margin).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the religious and demographic of the santri of 'Alimussirry Islamic Boarding School on the interest in paying zakat at the zakat institutions. The independent variables in this study consisted of two variables, namely the religiosity variables and demographic variables. Religiosity variables are measured using dimensions of worship, belief, religious knowledge, appreciation and practice. While demographic variables are measured using indicators of age, work experience and income. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are the variables of religiosity santri of Islamic Boarding School affect the interest of paying zakat at the zakat institution. This is because santri have knowledge of religion more than people who are not educated in a boarding school environment. The demographic variable of the Islamic Boarding School 'Alimussirry affects the interest in paying zakat in the zakat institution, but the influence of this demographic variable is very low because santri does not have income and does not have more work experience. In addition, the young age also affect a person in donating his property.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the influence of murabahah financing on profitability in KSPPS BMT Mandiri Sejahtera East Java. This study describes a quantitative research using a descriptive quantitative approach. The data used by the researcher are primary with interview methods and secondary in the form of balance sheets and profit and loss for the period 2009-2018, yearly. For the population and sample, the researcher uses secondary data in the form of balance sheets and income statements for the period 2009-2018 per year. The analysis technique which is used in this research is the simple linier regression. The result of this study state that partial test (t) present that murabahah financing does not significantly influence the profitability. The result of the determination coefficient test (R2) indicate that murabahah financing effects profitability of 0.7%, while the remaining 99.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

The proverty is a problem that has not been resolved to date. This study aims to determine the effect of zakah on the poor people number in East Java. This research is quantitive research. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the zakah collected and distributed by the East Java’s BAZNAS had an influence on the poor people number in East Java.

Abstract

The problem of economic development in the last two decades is the problem of financial institutions that have not applied Islamic business ethics. amidst the current tight competition of sharia institutions which are one of the sharia financial institutions that maintain existence in society through the attention of members and always provide excellent service to members are BMT (Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil), using the marketing mix in accordance with ethics Islamic business is one way that is used to attract members through marketing by using the whole system of marketing activities that are in accordance with Islamic Sharia. This research is a qualitative research that aims to determine the implementation of the marketing mix at the Kedungpring Branch of Mandiri Sejahtera BMT in the perspective of Islamic business ethics. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that in implementing the marketing mix in terms of products, prices, places, promotions, people, processes, physical evidence, promises, patience applied to the Mandiri BMT Kedungpring Branch is in accordance with Islamic Shari'a ie applying the rules Islamic business such as marketing good quality goods, prohibiting pledges, being kind, creating good ties with members.
