Abstract

This research examined the effect of the Current Ratio, Return on Equity, and Debt to Equity Ratio on Stock Returns in Kompas 100 Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2019 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The samples obtained were 30 companies from 100 companies. The type of data used in this research is secondary data, and the method of analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the data analysis done, the variable Return on Equity has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. The Current Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on stock returns, and the Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on stock returns. The current ratio, return on equity, and debt to equity ratio simultaneously does not affect stock returns.

Abstract

The role of higher education is vital in giving birth to new entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The emergence of many new entrepreneurs has an impact on the development of the country's economy. These impacts include creating jobs and increasing regional and state income. This article provides a discussion of self-personality as a predictor of entrepreneurial intention with self-efficacy as mediation. A personality is a form of character and trait, which can shape behavior. The personality dimensions used in this study are conscientiousness and openness to new experiences. This study used a sample of 210 students from several universities in the city of Surakarta, Indonesia. Data collection techniques, using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis, using path analysis with the help of Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study's findings indicate that self-efficacy mediates the effect of openness to new experiences on entrepreneurial intention. However, conscientiousness has not been shown to affect interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Unemployment is a problem that is often faced by every country, especially developing countries like Indonesia. The high level of unemployment in a country can have a negative impact on the economy of a country. Entrepreneurship is the potential to build the economy for the better. Duta Transformasi Insani Bandung is one of the training institutions that can develop entrepreneurial potential. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers found that in organizing training for young entrepreneurs, one of the training evaluation techniques was adopted, namely IPOO. In terms of Input regarding the recruitment of training participants, the Process in this program aims to become more independent and free from dependence. The Output and Outcomes of the training participants are motivated to start a business and make it easier for them to manage themselves better.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial orientation is one of the antecedent variables that can improve small and medium enterprises' performance. This article provides a discussion on the scope of company performance, especially in small and medium enterprises. This article examines and analyzes the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on performance with management knowledge as a moderating variable in Indonesia's small and medium enterprises. The research sample, 45 small and medium batik enterprises in the city of Surakarta, Indonesia. Hypothesis analysis, using SPSS 22.00. The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation dimensions (innovation, proactive, risk-taking) significantly affected enterprise performance with β = .560 and sig ≤ 0.05. However, knowledge management does not influence moderation, where the effect is on performance with β = -.220 and sig > .112.

Abstract

To form a superior organization, it is necessary to place employees as the main supporting factor for success. This is because employees are the spearhead of implementing organizational activities to be able to achieve goals effectively. The work behavior of employees who are oriented towards high performance will be directly proportional to organizational goals. This article provides a discussion on aspects of the role of motivation as a mediating variable. The antecedent variables of motivation are leadership style, work environment, and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, the motivational consequence variable is employee performance. The sample of this research totaling 242 employees from 6 (six) financial companies in Medan City. Sampling method, using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis, using path analysis with the help of Lisrel. The results showed that motivation was proven to play a mediating role in influencing employee performance t-count 8.93 ≥ 1.96.
