Abstract

Kos crisis center is a social derivative organization of PKK Movement Team of Municipal Government Yogyakarta to conduct a mediation between dorm members, dorm house owner (landlord), community members and the municipal government. KCC has the abilities to accumulate the dorm member, landlady, local communities and governments by using communication strategy that is easily understood by the stakeholders, therefore, in social encounter they can form the structure, system and social reproduction. The relation between dorm member, landlady, local communities and the government has been crystallized in a form of mutual empowerment and become a force that has contribution in preservation of status of Yogyakarta as a city of education, city tourism, town and city of cultural tolerance.

Abstract

Yogyakarta city which divided into 14 districts and 45 sub-districts has the potential of  micro, small and medium business (SMEs)  of 22.091 units with various types of products and services.  In fact, SMEs are the economic actors of micro, small and medium enterprises that have a large role in addressing unemployment and poverty in the city. Since HR MSMEs are the parts of creative economic actors, it is important that HR of MSMEs to develop their creativity skills. Given the MSMEs actors in Yogyakarta have not maximized in the work, therefore, it   needs to maximize their creativity skill. Through creativity improvement in HR MSMEs, they can maintain and development of new ideas in form of new products, new packaging, new marketing models, and increased partnerships/networks that finally become a powerhouse economy competitive.

Abstract

Salah satu keistimewaan DIY adalah adanya kenyataan kota Yogyakarta sebagai kota pendidikan. Berbagai lembaga pendidikan, khususnya perguruan tinggi banyak berdiri di wilayah ini. Pendidikan adalah panglima pembangunan dan investasi jangka panjang untuk menyiapkan sumberdaya pembangunan dalam menghadapi berbagai krisis di berbagai bidang. Sejarah telah membuktikan bahwa peran Kerajaan/kraton dengan model kepemimpinan monarki mempunyai visi yang tinggi membela dan mencerdaskan rakyatnya. KCC sebagai salah satu oragnisasi social yang telah berupaya membantu mewujudkan kesejahteraan para pelajar dan mahasiswa yang berorentasi pada harmonisasi nasionalisme. KCC berupaya mencegah terjadinya disfungsionalitas social anak kos dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. KCC siap menjadi jembatan antara anak kos dengan masyarakat setempat. Kegiatan–kegiatan KCC merupakan inti perwujudan manajemen kesejahteraan sosial anak kos di Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract. The study of the accountability of social welfare institutions in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the framework of good corporate governance aims to determine the principle of accountability and the variance of accountability of LKS managers towards related stakeholder. This research description provides an overview of the accountability principles of social welfare institutions as public institutions from the aspects of legal accountability and honesty, managerial accountability, program accountability, policy accountability, and financial accountability. The qualitative research method explores the sample of student worksheets with the first rank of the DIY level. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling of student worksheet with DIY level. The data were collected by in-depth interviews, in-depth observation and literature study. Everything is integrated into the analytical content. Data credibility validation through triangulation. validation of results followed by transferability, dependability and conformability tests. The results showed that managerial accountability and program accountability tended to be passive, managerial accountability and program accountability were low, financial accountability was closed and accountability of policy was relative. The courage to run GCG LKS depends on the attitude of the BOD. Even though the research was conducted for 8 years, this research still has weaknesses, it is recommended that further research with a personal approach to the founders and BOD, so that researchers can analyze the relationship between the founders and BOD. The research implication is reflective material for policymakers to evaluate BOD, managers, volunteers and LKS donors.Abstrak. Penelitian akuntabilitas lembaga kesejahteraan sosial di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam kerangka good corporate governance bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip akuntabilitas dan varian akuntabilitas pengelola LKS terhadap stakeholder terkait. Deskripsi penelitian memberikan gambaran mengenai prinsip akuntabilitas lembaga kesejahteraan sosial sebagai lembaga publik dari aspek akuntabilitas hukum dan kejujuran, akuntabilitas manajerial, akuntabilitas program, akuntabilitas kebijakan, dan akuntabilitas finansial. Metode penelitian kualitatif eksplorasi sampel LKS berprestasi peringkat pertama tingkat DIY. Subjek penelitian ditentukan purposive sampling LKS berprestasi tingkat DIY, data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi mendalam dan studi pustaka. Semua ada diintegrasi dalam konten analisis. Validasi data credibility melalui triangulasi. validasi hasil dilanjutkan dengan uji transferability, dependability dan conformability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan akuntabilitas manajerial dan akuntabilitas program cenderung pasif, akuntabilitas manajerial dan akuntabilitas program bersifat rendah, akuntabilitas finansial bersifat tertutup, akuntabilitas kebijakan bersifat relatif. Keberanian menjalankan GCG LKS tergantung dari sikap BOD. Walaupun penelitian dilakukan selama 8 tahun, penelitian ini masih ada kelemahan, disarankan penelitian lanjutan dengan pendekatan personal kepada para pendiri dan BOD, sehingga peneliti dapat menganalisis hubungan antara pendiri dengan BOD. Implikasi penelitian menjadi bahan refleksi bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk mengevaluasi BOD, pengelola, relawan dan para donatur LKS.

Abstract

Abstrak. The coordinating body of social welfare activities (BK3S), a non-governmental organization that has the task and responsibility of coordinating the implementation of social welfare efforts organized by social welfare institutions (LKS) for the community, especially gives services to people with social welfare problems. BK3S DIY social actions as government partners cq the social office has the authority to regulate, provide recommendations for licensing, advocate for organizations and strengthen the existence of LKS. The practice of organizing, coordinating, advocating and strengthening organizational governance is analyzed through Max Weber's authority theory. The results of the analysis of social actions in the practice of regulating, coordinating, advocating and engaging in strengthening institutions with Max Weber's theory of authority obtained organizational identity so that it looks strangely different from BK3S or other social organizations. Abstrak. Badan Koordinasi Kegiatan Kesejahteraan Sosial (BK3S) adalah lembaga non pemerintah. Tugas dan tanggungjawabnya adalah melakukan koordinasi penyelenggaraan berbagai usaha kesejahteraan sosial oleh Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial (LKS) untuk masyarakat terutama memberi pelayanan kepada penyandang masalah kesejahteraan sosial. Tindakan sosial BK3S DIY sebagai mitra pemerintah cq dinas sosial mempunyai kewenangan mengatur, memberi rekomendasi perizinan, mengadvokasi organisasi dan memperkuat keberadaan LKS. Praktik mengatur, mengoordinasikan, mengadvokasi dan memperkuat tata kelola organisasi ini dianalisis melalui teori kewenangan Max Weber. Hasil analisis tindakan sosial dalam praktik pengaturan, koordinasi, advokasi dan keterlibatan memperkuat kelembagaan dengan teori kewenangan Max Weber diperoleh identitas organisasi sehingga tampak kekhasan dan pembeda dengan BK3S atau organisasi sosial lainnya.

Abstract

The role of higher education is vital in giving birth to new entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The emergence of many new entrepreneurs has an impact on the development of the country's economy. These impacts include creating jobs and increasing regional and state income. This article provides a discussion of self-personality as a predictor of entrepreneurial intention with self-efficacy as mediation. A personality is a form of character and trait, which can shape behavior. The personality dimensions used in this study are conscientiousness and openness to new experiences. This study used a sample of 210 students from several universities in the city of Surakarta, Indonesia. Data collection techniques, using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis, using path analysis with the help of Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study's findings indicate that self-efficacy mediates the effect of openness to new experiences on entrepreneurial intention. However, conscientiousness has not been shown to affect interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian transparansi dana desa dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat desa di Desa Lewopao Flores Timur bertujuan untuk mengetahui transparansi dana desa dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat desa di Desa Lewopao. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi, data primer dan sekunder diintegrasikan selanjutnya diolah dan diverifikasi. Informan terdiri dari Pemerintah Desa, BPD, kelompok pengrajin dan masyarakat Desa Lewopao. Kelompok pengrajin terdiri meliputi pengrajin piring rotan, mebeler bambu dan tenun ikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengunaan dana desa untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat di Desa Lewopao masih rendah, walaupun mulai proses perencanaan, pemerintah desa selalu mengkomunikasikan kepada masyarakat dan kelompok pengrajin dengan cara musyawarah untuk mencapai mufakat. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari realisasinya tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan, minimnya tingkat transparansi dan akuntabilitas anggaran dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan dan minimnya fasilitasi dari pemerintah desa terhadap masing-masing kelompok pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga menghambat kegiatan produksi bagi pengarajin. Disisi lain ada faktor pendorong dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa ketersedian sumber daya alam seperti tanaman kelapa untuk bahan dasar piring rotan, bambu untuk meubeler, tradisi masyarakat pendukung tenun ikat dan tingginya partisipasi masyarakat.

Abstract

Era reformasi membawa perubahan pada posisi tawar masyarakat dihadapan negara. Dulu masyarakat merupakan obyek pembangunan dan kini menjadi subyek pembangunan. Perubahan posisi tersebut mengilhami lahirnya istilah transparansi publik. Di era keterbukaan informasi publik seperti saat ini pertanggungjawaban menjadi point penting yang dinginkan oleh setiap elemen masyarakat. Tuntutan masyarakat kepada pemerintah untuk terbuka menjadi tuntutan wajib yang harus diikuti dan bukan hanya gertak sambal belaka. Penulis ingin melihat media komunikasi yang dipergunakan oleh Biro Umum, Humas dan Protokol Pemerintah Daerah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam rangka mewujudkan transparansi publik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif. Penelitian eksplorasi hanya sebatas mengeksplorasi pertanyaan penelitian dan tidak bermaksud untuk menawarkan solusi akhir dan konklusif untuk masalah yang ada. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa pertama, transparansi publik yang dilaksanakan oleh Biro Umum, Humas dan Protokol Pemerintah Daerah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dilakukan melalui media sosial yang dikelola biro. Abstract

The research entitled Community Participation in Waste Management as Mediating Realistic Understanding of Environmental Hygiene in the Community of Kamu Subdistrict, Dogiyai Regency, Papua aims to determine: 1) religious understanding affects environmental cleanliness 2) community participation affects environmental cleanliness 3) community participation mediates the influence of understanding religion to environmental cleanliness. The population in this study was the entire community of Dogiyai District, Kamu District, Dogiyai Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 44 respondents from the Kamu sub-district, Dogiyai district. The data analysis technique in this study is Partial Least Square using the WarpPLS 7.0 application. The results showed that 1) religious understanding had an effect on environmental cleanliness 2) community participation had an effect on environmental hygiene 3) community participation mediated some of the influence of religious understanding on environmental cleanliness

Abstract

The research entitled the positive value of the covid-19 pandemic for MSMEs in Yogyakarta City was motivated by the covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, starting with the findings of Covid-19 sufferers on March 2, 2020 to April 18, 2020, 6,248 confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 with 631 recovered cases and 535 died cases. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government has established various policies such as social distancing, PSBB, learning-working-worshiping at home. The impact of the policy was that various social, tourism and economic activities stagnated. The impact of this stagnation has an impact on MSME actors in general, including MSMEs in Yogyakarta. A qualitative research approach is a case study of MSME actors who are gathered in the home business camp (HBC) and Karang Mitra Usaha (KaMU) in Yogyakarta City. Data were collected through interviews via social media, observation and literature study. Qualitative data analysis used the Creswell 2016 technique. The conclusion of the research was that the reasons behind positive thinking for MSMEs as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic were religious, psychological and educational factors. So that MSME players can take lessons by innovating, evaluating business and developing creativity. Suggestions in research, this research needs to be continued with wider informance and post-Covid-19 MSME actors need to be strengthened through disaster management training for advanced creativity development, psychology, entrepreneurial religiosity and business philosophy.
