Journal Competency of Business is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (July and December) by the Management Study Program at Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of credit risk on the financial performance of banks, the effect of market risk on bank financial performance, the effect of liquidity risk on bank financial performanc. The research method used in this is a quantitative method. The population observed in this study was all conventional cemmercial banks listed on the idx for the period 2015 to 2018. The population in this study was 42 banking companies sampling techniques with a total sample of 56. The type of data used is secondary data. The results showed that Credit Risk (NPL) no significant positive effect on finanial performance (ROA), Market Risk (NIM) has a significant positive effect on bank financial performance (ROA). Liquidity Risk (LDR) has a significant positive effect on bank financial performance (ROA). Credit risk (NPL), market risk (NIM) and liquidity risk (LDR) have different effects. Because seen by the t test, where there are variables that cannot be seen.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is whether there is an influence of Intrinsic motivation (achievements, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) partially on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta and whether there is intrinsic motivation (achievements achieved) , recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) simultaneously on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta. The research objective was to partially determine the effect of intrinsic motivation (achievement achieved, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) on work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta and to see the effect of intrinsic motivation (achievement achieved, recognition of others, work itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) simultaneously on the work performance of employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta. The sample population in this study were all employees of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta which can be said to be 35 employees. Sampling technique is to use saturated sampling technique. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test. The test results with the t test and the F test prove that the Intrinsic Motivation variable (achievement, recognition of others, the job itself, opportunities for development, responsibility) has a positive effect on the Employee Performance of Batik Nakula Sadewa Sleman Yogyakarta..

Abstract

Research this is a research descriptive quantitative about climate communication, competence, discipline to the performance employee through satisfaction work as a variable intervening. Research this for obtain data and information about climate communication, competence, discipline work and satisfaction employee used as ingredients analysis for knowing the effect to the performance District Office staff Navigation Class I Tanjungpinang, chosen as target research or object research. With framework work this, survey data collection is carried out with make use of questionnaire stage attitude that has been done adapted for topics research this total respondent on research this as many as 142 people. For could characterize attitude, structure model with tool measuring help SmartPLS 3.2.8 for made into as framework work researc. Results research to show that has been happen circuited an significant between variable Climate communication , competence , and Discipline to Performance employee as big as 40.3 %, and the rest as big as 59.7 % explained by extract others outside of the research in research this. Majority respondent at the location research has been have insight in respond to research this which is based on influence and benefits (impact) for employee that is. Data results research to show has been meet Composite assumption Reliability with value percentage spread as big as 80.6% for climate communication , 81 % for competence , 79.6% discipline employee and 85.9 % performance employee and 81% for satisfaction work employee . Showing that the indicator on each constructor have consistency reability high.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of cognitive reappraisal on job search behavior, (2) the effect of expressive suppression on job search behavior, (3) the effect of anxiety on job search behavior, (4) the role of anxiety as a mediation in the influence of emotional regulation strategies and job search behavior. The population in this study were final year students of a private university in Central Jakarta in 2015. The sample used in this study was 210 people. The sampling technique used proportional sampling method. In this study, the validity test used Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the reliability test used the Cronbach's Alpha method and hypothesis testing used the causal steps method with SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that cognitive reappraisal has a positive and significant effect on job search behavior, meanwhile expressive suppression has a negative and significant effect on job search behavior, and anxiety partially mediates the effect of emotional regulation strategies on job search behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning of prices implemented through the tradition of the Gresik community. This research is a qualitative study using a phenomenological approach, data collected through interviews and informant observation. The results of the study found three meanings of prices, the first price as an effort to establish faith, the second price as a form of togetherness, the third price is not material. The existence of cultural values ​​seems to dismiss the notion that states if the price is closely related to the material and profits

Abstract

Current ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Return on Equity are some of the many factors that are thought to have an influence on company value. Several studies have also used these factors as variables. Therefore, this study aims to test and reaffirm the results of previous studies with mixed conclusions. The sample of this study was 100 companies in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2018. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially Current ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio had no significant effect on Company Value, while Profitability had a significant effect on Company Value. Simultaneously testing shows that current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and return on Equity have a significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a partial influence of work environment and motivation on the performance of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta Household Employees. To find out the influence of work environment and work motivation simultaneously on the performance of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta Household Employees. The nature of this research is correlational. The variables of this study are the work environment and work motivation and employee performance. The population in this study were all Household Employees at the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta with a population of 37, a population of less than 100, so that all populations were sampled by the census method. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with a significance level of 5%. The results obtained by the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Household Section of the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta University. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Household Section of the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University in Yogyakarta. Employee performance is influenced by the work environment and work motivation by 29.3%, while the remaining 70.7% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the role of village financial system (Siskeudes) on the performance of village administration with good governance as an intervening variable in Kulon Progo Regency. This research employed quantitative research approach. The data used were primary data. The informants used were village Kaur and Kasi, the village secretaries, the village financial system operators (Siskeudes). The result showed that: (1) village financial system (Siskeudes) influences on the good governance; (2) good governance influences on the performance of the village administration; (3) village financial system (Siskeudes) no effect to performance of village administration; (4) village financial system (Siskeudes) on the performance of village administration with good governance an an intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on financial performance at BKKBN DIY Representatives, the role of internal auditors in optimizing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at BKKBN DIY Representatives, and obstacles in optimizing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at BKKBN DIY Representatives.Through descriptive qualitative research methods, by interviewing 5 employees who are a team of auditors, latbang, and treasurer expenditures and make observations. From the results of the research on the implementation of GCG at the BKKBN DIY Representative Office, it is optimal because it can minimize the occurrence of irregularities and make financial management easier, the role of auditors on financial performance is optimal because auditors always carry out their roles properly, namely as quality assurance and consultants, although there are still obstacles to optimizing. GCG but it can still be resolved.

Abstract

So far, Bank BTN has distributed more KPR Package A and B for low-income groups of people, so that people tend to be more familiar with KPR BTN only for Simple Houses (RS) and Very Simple Houses (RSS). In fact, in addition to that, Bank BTN also has a KPR product for middle, semi-luxurious and luxurious homes, which is called the Griya Utama Credit. Based on the aforementioned competition, we limit the formulation of the problem to the assessment of the implementation of the marketing strategy at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) in 2020. The purpose of this study is to assess the implementation of the marketing strategy of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) and evaluating the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), so it can be seen the existence of Bank BTN in this industrial business. After calculating with a SWOT analysis, then the strengths and weaknesses are compared. If the strength value is greater than the weakness value, it can be said that the company's position is relatively stronger than its competitors or vice versa. Likewise with the comparison between opportunities and threats, if the opportunity value is greater than the threat, then it means that the company has a greater opportunity than the threat it faces. All data that will be required in this study were obtained from oral / written interviews with the Head of Division, Head of Division or Members of the Board of Directors of Bank BTN.
