This study explores the role of fathers in childcare in Jambi urban families, focusing on the challenges faced, the strategies implemented, and the impact of fathers' involvement on child development. Through in-depth interviews with several fathers and direct observation in the household, the study identified that open communication, positive rewards, skill teaching, and examples of good behavior are effective strategies that fathers use in parenting. However, fathers also face various obstacles such as work pressure and rigid social expectations regarding gender roles. This study shows that social support and policies that facilitate work-life balance are essential to increase fathers' involvement in parenting. The results of this study have implications for the development of policies and programs that support the role of fathers, with the aim of creating a more inclusive and supportive parenting environment for children and families in Jambi.

This study examines the role of mothers in educating children about gender awareness in rural communities of Bungo Regency, Jambi Province, with a focus on the influence of traditional social and cultural norms. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with housewives as respondents. The results of the study show that traditional values are still very strong and play a big role in determining gender roles, but there are mothers who try to teach gender equality values despite facing various challenges. These findings indicate that gender education by more egalitarian mothers can help children develop a broader view of gender roles and demonstrate a more inclusive attitude. This research provides important insights into social dynamics in rural communities and suggests the need for broader support to drive change towards gender equality.

This study aims to examine the practice of inclusive education for children with special needs in elementary schools. The study identified several key challenges, including a lack of curriculum flexibility, teacher readiness and competence, support from parents and the community, and limited infrastructure and resources. Through interviews and observations, it was found that the existing curriculum is often inadequate to accommodate the needs of students with special needs. In addition, many teachers feel less confident in teaching children with special needs due to the lack of training. Parental and community support also plays an important role, but stigma and lack of understanding are still obstacles. Inadequate infrastructure and resources further hinder the implementation of inclusive education. This research emphasizes the importance of adaptive policies, continuous training for teachers, community education, and improving infrastructure and resources to create an inclusive learning environment.
