Abstract

This community service activity aimed to provide a training to members of the Tanjung Belit Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) about daily English conversations related to the environment, conditions and surrounding culture. This activity was carried out in the following steps: Socialization activity, Community service activities, Assistance in English practice, and Field practice. This activity was attended by the Tanjung Belit communities who are joined in Pokdarwis with a total of 35 members. This assistance ran well because the participants were very enthusiastic to participate in this activity from the beginning to the end of the activities And their English pronunciation have greatly improved than before. Participants can practice daily English conversation and communicate in English confidently.

Abstract

Riau is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a distinctive culture including the diversity of cuisines and culinary specialties that characterize the culture of the Malay tribe. Rokan Hulu is one of the regencies in Riau which has a special culinary made from durian which is commonly called kokek sour durian. The introduction of the durian sour cocktail was carried out to students at the Vocational High School level, this was done to reintroduce the traditional Rokan Hulu cuisine to young people so they would not be forgotten. The approach method is descriptive qualitative by means of Participatory Action Research (PAR) which aims to learn in solving problems and meeting the practical needs of the community, as well as the production of knowledge. A total of 25 students took part in the kokek cooking training and 92% agreed that this training was very helpful in introducing the durian sour cocktail to students at SMK Zaidar Yahya.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of using the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetitive Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Muttaqin Pekanbaru. This research is a type of correlation research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 60 people and sampling used simple random sampling. Data collection uses questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation test. The research results obtained r calculated 0.537 > r table at the 5% significance level (0.211) or at the 1% significance level (0.295), so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. This means that there is a positive influence of the use of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetitive Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes at Al-Muttaqin Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pekanbaru. The contribution of using the auditory, intellectually, repetitive learning model to student learning outcomes in the subject of Jurisprudence is 28.8%, while 71.2% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Pada kenyataannya masih ada masyarakat yang tidak memahami perundang-undangan yang mengatur perihal perkawinn. Mereka lebih senang dan bahkan menganggap sudah cukup apabila telah memenuhi persyaratan agama dan adat. Sehingga ketika ingin melaksanakan proses perkawinan, tidak merasa perlu untuk mendapatkan buku nikah dan perkawinan mereka tidak tercatat di Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA). Pandangan seperti ini banyak ditemukan di Indonesia, bukan hanya di daerah Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau (daerah penelitian dalam tulisan ini) tetapi terjadi hampir di setiap daerah. Peran Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) dalam meminimalisir perkawinan bawah tangan di Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Kabupaten Kampar di antaranya: a) Melakukan penyuluhan-penyuluhan Pencatatan Perkawina kepada calon pengantin; b) Melakukan sosialisaasi tentang pentingnya Pencatatan Perkawinan dan dampak buruknya terhadap keluarga, ibu dan anak melakui seminar-seminar dan pengajian-pengajian yang diselenggarakan masyarakat; c) Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Kecamatan Kampar Kiri berkerja sama dengan P3N bersama aparatur desa melakukan penyuluhan-penyuluhan setiap 2 (dua) bulan sekali kepada masyarakat; dan d) Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) memfasilitasi itsbat nikah.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this community service activity with the theme Digital Marketing Strategy Training for UMKM in Pangkalan Kerinci City, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province, is to provide knowledge about digital marketing and training in the application of digital marketing. The method used in carrying out this activity is through lectures and direct practice of implementing digital marketing. Abstract

Garbage is something left over from the daily activities of humans and nature that has not or no longer has the benefit of being used again. Pekanbaru City is one of the cities in Riau Province. Pekanbaru City has a population of 994,585 in 2021. With the existing population, Pekanbaru City is one of the cities that has a lot of waste generation. The annual amount of waste generation in Pekanbaru City is 1,488,423.65 tons. There are various types of waste in Pekanbaru City, food waste is the biggest contributor to waste generation in Pekanbaru City, one example is banana peel waste. Banana peel has some very good ingredients for the skin. The purpose of this research is to reduce waste in Pekanbaru City by making a business from banana peel waste which is processed into soap. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach and primary studies. The results of the research show that based on the Business Model Canvas and SWOT Analysis, creating a business from banana peel waste which is processed into soap can reduce the amount of waste in Pekanbaru City, especially banana peel waste
