Abstract

Text summarization in English is used to summarize a text using a computer to get a summary of the text. The text summarization method uses extractives because this method takes important information from a text without changing it or the information. One of the algorithms that can be used to summarize text in English is by using the TextRank algorithm. The advantage of the TextRank algorithm is that it does not require in-depth knowledge of a language and does not require training data to be able to summarize text. The way this algorithm works is to represent sentences in the text into a graph, calculating the value of each sentence using questions (similarities) between sentences to determine the summary results. In addition to using similarity to determine important sentences, this study also uses a modified TextRank, namely by using levenshtein distance to calculate summaries by comparing the similarities between strings by entering, entering, or replacing character strings. Summarization of text in English using TextRank is done by summarizing 100 English texts which will then be evaluated using ROUGE. ROUGE evaluation works by comparing the summary results from TextRank with manual summaries by experts in the field of English. To facilitate the ranking requires a text mining algorithm, using text mining algorithms can be used to get actual results.

Abstract

Excellent class students are students who consist of selected people who have more outstanding abilities when compared to ordinary class students. SMK N 1 Binjai is one of the schools that has implemented a superior class selection where every year the school selects new students to enter the superior class. The selection process is still using a manual system. Selection in this way will take a long time so it is not effective and efficient. This system is designed using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method where each criterion is given a weight and then calculated using the SMART formula. This multi-criteria decision-making technique is based on the theory that each alternative consists of a number of criteria that have values and each criterion has a weight that describes how important the criterion is with other criteria. The results of the research are in the form of a recommendation system output for students who will enter the superior class. The benefit of this research is that it provides media for decision-making information for the school to decide which students are eligible to enter the superior class.

Abstract

The implementation of the social security program is one of the The Covid-19 pandemic is an event that spreads disease throughout the world to all countries. This disease is caused by a new type of coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. During the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia last March, many agencies played an active role in socializing the health protocols recommended by the government. In this case, the Sub-District Head Office participated in conducting outreach to the community in the Finished sub-district to follow directions from the government in carrying out health protocols. In conducting an assessment of each village in the Finished Sub-district, the Finished Sub-District Office uses criteria in determining the best village for the application of health protocols, namely social distancing, mask users, availability of hand washing facilities and community mobilization. In this study a Decision Support System (DSS) will be built using the Simple Multiple Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method which is a multi-criteria decision-making technique based on each alternative consisting of a number of criteria that have a value and each criterion has a weight that describes how important it is when compared with other criteria. The system is designed with the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, after testing the process on the system by utilizing 14 village data in the Completed District as an analysis, from the results of the application it is found that A11 (Sei Limbat) is ranked first, with the highest final score, which is 0.9250.

Abstract

Admission of new students is one of the processes in educational institutions such as schools that are used to select prospective students according to the criteria of the school concerned. This research was conducted at the Private High School of the Panca Abdi Bangsaku Foundation (PABAKU) which still accepts new students manually, that is, by filling out a form using the sheet provided by the committee. In the study, the researcher decided to create a New Student Registration System at PABAKU Stabat Private High School. New Student Registration System will create a website-based information system and use PHP Mysql. so that the mechanism for registering new students will be more optimal, accurate and in a shorter time. The methods used in this research are data collection, observation, interviews, system requirements analysis, system design, database design, and interface design. In conclusion, this research is a new student registration system at PABAKU Private High School will be built using PHP and MYSQL. So that student data processing is more effective and efficient

Abstract

Inventories of school goods are state-owned goods, either purchased or obtained through government funds on the basis of the imposition of taxes (DPP) or obtained as exchanges or grants as well as making their own to support the smooth teaching and learning process. PABAKU Stabat Vocational School is one of the Educational Institutions in the Stabat area that has an inventory of school goods, the principal is responsible for all access that occurs in schools regarding school inventory items. At SMK PABAKU Stabat, the processing of school inventory items is still done manually by recording books and stored in archive form. This manual recording and storage of data allows for errors in the process of recording goods data, such as; data loss, repeated logging, data retrieval that requires a longer time span. In overcoming this, the author wants to assist employees in making reports through an inventory information system that has been computerized and connected to the internet using the My SQL database.

Abstract

Water is one of the necessities and a source of life that is very vital and absolutely necessary for all living things, especially humans. That's why the supply of clean water is very necessary for consumption purposes, high water use results in the need for clean water availability continues to increase, while the supply of clean water continues to decrease every year along with the large number of open green lands that are used as settlements or buildings. For this reason, PDAM needs to provide as much water as possible so that it can meet daily human needs. The Backpropagation method is one of the methods in Artificial Neural Network which has one or more hidden layers and a back propagation process for error correction. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, namely from training data, training targets and water usage test data, it can produce predictions on the number of predictions for the amount of water use with a total prediction of 43633298 M3 which has increased in the previous year, namely 4362905 M3, with a target error of 0.2, the length of iteration with a duration of time. or the length of learning is 00.17.

Abstract

Vaccines are biological products containing antigens in the form of microorganisms or parts thereof or substances they produce which have been processed in such a way that they are safe, which when given to a person will cause active specific immunity against certain diseases. Vaccination is a process in the body so that a person becomes immune or protected from a disease. The large number of registrants who want to vaccinate against Covid-19 at the Kebun Lada Health Center has created a large pile of vaccination data that wants to vaccinate. These data are not only inputted directly on the government website, hard copy files are only stored in a file which is then stored in a folder. Seeing this situation, of course, from these data new information can be taken which is processed using data mining techniques to dig up useful information related to vaccination data. Data mining can help companies explore new knowledge by processing existing data with clustering methods and using the K-Means algorithm. Similar results were obtained in clusters 1 and 2, namely addresses originating from north binjai, while in cluster 3 there were similar results with cluster 1, namely in the category of vaccine recipients, namely the general public.

Decision support system (DSS) is a system that can help leaders in making accurate and targeted decision. There are many problems can be solved using DSS, one of which is a decision support system for the use of village funds. At present the use off village funds is sometimes not on target so that empowermant and distribution of these funds are less effective, because the distribution still uses a manual system, where the manual system which often make it less offective.

Abstract

Techniques in compressing audio files are commonly used for transmission and storage processes, namely to reduce bottlenecks in the input or output process, save data storage space and facilitate the distribution of data and files with electronic media and removable media. A voice recorder is an electronic device that picks up sound or frequency waves and is designed to fit an application that can be saved in digital or other network formats. This voice recorder application is widely used in the modern era today is also very helpful in our daily life, for example writing applications, games, video and voice, but must be adjusted as needed. Based on the implementation of the algorithm used is the Ternary Comma Code (TCC). This method is a binary number (line2) which is based on 2 bit numbers 0 and 1.In the use of the TCC algorithm method, it allows audio file data in voice recording applications to reduce the redundancy of files to save or send in an efficient form and so we can compress these important files to save more memory space, because a storage system requires a large enough space. The use of the data size is getting bigger and bigger so the process can change it by compressing the original data.

Abstract

Every day household waste cleaning activities are carried out by janitors, where every month a manual payment system is carried out. This is not very effective, and it takes a lot of time because officers have to go to people's homes to process payments. Through this practical work, it is hoped that they will be able to design an information system about paying household waste money in the village. The program used to manage the payment of household waste money in the village is Visual Basic 2008. And the results obtained from this information system will be used in the future, to assist in the development of a better system.
