Abstract

Modern times now demand that everything must be fast and precise. This is because of the increasing population in the world today which continues to grow. Queue is an activity where customers wait to get service. Queue is a phenomenon that occurs in daily activities experienced by everyone. As a result of this queue many people turn to other places to avoid a queue and get maximum service. In the queuing system sometimes have problems, problems arise because of the many queues that are served. Long queues occur because of the many transactions at the cashier, both transfers, cash withdrawals, tax payments, and pension funds. The queuing model discussed in this study is a queue where customers come in groups. The number of customers in each group is a random variable, and the time between arrivals is an exponential distribution. In the research Exponential method is used to calculate the service time with a single channel to be able to observe how the system is performing.

Abstract

Mobile is a communication tool that can be carried anywhere because it does not use cables like conventional fixed line telephones. Mobile phones can be obtained at very affordable prices so that mobile phones are no longer categorized as luxury goods. By using a mobile phone, users can make and receive calls to and from other mobile phone networks around the world. The sophisticated use of mobile phones can solve all interests more effectively and efficiently. Another function of mobile phones is that it can be a medium of entertainment, educational media, business media and so on. In general, every electronic item can be damaged and mobile phones are one of them. For example, it gets hot quickly, the battery runs low quickly and even the cellphone is in a condition that it can't turn on at all (totally dead). Damage that occurs can be categorized as light or heavy damage. So by knowing what category of damage occurs, it can make repairs or services on cellphones more optimal. To find out the damage that occurs requires a system that can categorize the damage to the android phone by using an expert system. An expert system is a system that can store the knowledge of experts or experts in the system. Expert systems are used to solve problems and improve problem solving abilities. Dempster Shafer is one method that can be used in expert systems. The Dempster Shafer method is a method of uncertainty to produce an accurate diagnosis. Due to the addition or deletion of new facts in the form of information about symptoms and disorders. This method gives experts confidence in their knowledge. So that from the case study conducted, it will be found that the Dempster Shafer method testing with the customer diagnoses based on the symptoms with a final value of 100%, the customer experiences Short Damage.

Abstract

Hypertension does not occur suddenly, but through a process that lasts quite a long time. Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries that is systemic in nature or lasts continuously for a long period of time. Uncontrolled high blood pressure for a certain period will cause permanent high pressure called hypertension. Studies conducted by health institutions in the UK stated that in general hypertension is experienced by men and women aged 48.5 years. Although there are young people who suffer from hypertension, the percentage is relatively small. With this fact, hypertension is included in the group not a congenital disease. In diagnosing hypertension, of course, it can not only be done by measuring blood pressure, but requires further examination by a doctor. However, to see a doctor the patient must queue with another patient to be examined. This will certainly make the patient bored and will even cause blood pressure to increase even more due to waiting too long to be treated. To deal with the problems mentioned above, it is necessary to build an expert system that can diagnose hypertension quickly and get a treatment solution like a doctor using the Certainty Factor method. The certainty factor is a derivation and development of the conditioned probability theory (Bayes theorem). The certainty factor is obtained from the operation of reducing the value of belief (measure of belief) by the value of distrust (measure of disbelief). The main purpose of using the certainty factor is to process the uncertainty of facts and phenomena by avoiding the need for large data and calculations.

Abstract

PT. Bank SUMUT Binjai branch is one of the financial institutions that provides several products offered to retirees such as retirement savings and pension loans. Most of the information is only seen as archives that are not used and can be destroyed at any time. This is a wrong view, because with proper and clever handling, these data can be processed and manipulated by data mining, so that later they can be used to produce useful information in making a decision. Data mining can help companies explore new knowledge by processing existing data with clustering methods and using the K-Means algorithm. From the credit application data, several criteria/variables will be taken, including the basic salary variables, allowances and loan guarantees (collateral) used. The data is processed with the Matlab program to produce a cluster center and the relationship between variables is obtained by the group with the highest value. The use of data mining techniques is expected to provide knowledge that was previously hidden in the data warehouse so that it becomes valuable information. The calculation that has been done is that the number of members of group 1 is 141 data, the number of members of group 2 is 90 data and the number of members of group 3 is 148 data. With the results centroid 1: 2.5319, 1, 1.5319, centroid 2: 5.2222, 3.5556, 1.9889 and centroid 3: 4,3286,1.8295, 2.1818.

Abstract

A job seeker is someone who is unemployed and looking for work both at home and abroad. Therefore, job introductions and inter-work officers are required to explore the competencies possessed by job seekers who have registered with the local Manpower Office with the aim of making it easier to match job vacancies for job seekers so that the placement of prospective workers is in accordance with their talents, interests. and abilities of job seekers. This study aims to build a system for grouping registered job seekers based on variables determined using the clustering method. Data mining is a semi-automatic process that uses statistical, mathematical, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques to extract and identify potential and useful knowledge information stored in large databases. The author uses the clustering method because this method can group a set of data objects into several groups or clusters so that objects in a cluster have a high number of similarities, but are very different from objects in other clusters.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks for many people. Out of every three people, one is a coffee drinker. Coffee is really delicious if you drink it either in the morning or at night when work is piling up. PT. Mulya Sari Mandiri is a coffee factory that produces coffee, both dry coffee beans and coffee powder. The coffee obtained by this company comes from various regions such as Sumatra and Java. The coffee beans that enter from the sending area are then selected to get the best coffee. Many techniques and methods are applied in the forecasting process. In solving a problem in research, of course the researcher must have a way or a method that will be applied in solving the problem so that the research carried out can be completed properly and in accordance with the expected results. The research method is carried out to look for something systematically by using the scientific method and applicable sources. In the process of this research aimed at the PT. Mulya Sari Mandiri, especially in the area of predicting the number of coffee export needs by providing more meaningful results. The result description is an illustration of what the artificial neural network system looks like in predicting a data number of export requirements using the Backpropagation method. An overview of the results is usually made in the form of user interface design or interface design, a good design is directly proportional to the quality of the program, when the interface design is good, the quality of the program will also be good. From the results of research conducted at PT. Mulya Sari Mandiri greatly adds knowledge and insight, by collecting data related to the prediction of the amount of need for export coffee, From the input learning rate and maximum epoch, the Backpropagation method can be carried out with training or training with convergent results, namely with or target error achieved with iteration 3160 the training process (time) is 0.00.25 seconds, with a permomance value of 0.0999 for Arabica coffee and for the robusta type with iteration 4957 the training process (time) is 0.00.07 seconds, with a permomance value of 0.2. From the data on the number of export coffees used as training, training targets and test data, the Backpropagtion method can be recognized and produces predictions that the number of Arabica coffee will experience a total decrease from 2021 data of 1481 with predicted results of 1410 tons.

Abstract

One way to implement development in all these fields is through development in the tourism sector, namely by developing and utilizing existing tourism resources and potential. To support government programs in developing tourist objects, especially in Bukit Lawang, it is necessary to pay attention to the level of satisfaction of tourist visitors visiting Bukit Lawang. To measure the level of satisfaction with tourist visitors, of course, parameters or assessment criteria will be used starting from road access to tourist attractions to cottage facilities. Measuring the level of satisfaction is usually done manually, namely by distributing or conducting surveys of visitors. If only questions are asked without any stored data, of course the Tourism Office will have difficulty measuring or evaluating the level of tourist visitor satisfaction, because it does not have sufficient data. For this reason, it is necessary to build a system that can assist the Langkat Regency Tourism Office in identifying the level of visitor satisfaction at Bukit Lawang. With this system, of course the Department will find it easier to evaluate and identify the level of visitor satisfaction quickly and precisely. So that all deficiencies to visitor satisfaction can be resolved quickly. To measure the level of satisfaction required a method that can measure the level of satisfaction precisely, one of the methods used is Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes is a simple probabilistic classifier that calculates a set of probabilities by summing the frequencies and combinations of values from a given dataset. Based on the results of trials that have been carried out in this study, results are obtained based on the 20 data used with the results of 17 TRUE data and 3 FALSE data, with an accuracy value of 65%.

Abstract

Technological developments aim to help facilitate human work in life. The role of technology in human work is very large, one of which is in agriculture and plantations. Classification is a way of grouping objects based on the characteristics possessed by the object of classification. In the process, classification can be done in many ways, either manually or with the help of technology. Cocoa pods certainly have color characteristics to determine the correct level of maturity of cocoa pods. used to classify the maturity level of cocoa pods. This research method uses the scientific method to solve a problem in research, of course the researcher must have a way or a method that is applied in solving the problem so that the research carried out can be resolved properly and in accordance with the expected results. The research method was carried out to look for something systematically using scientific methods and applicable sources, especially in the classification of cocoa pod maturity level based on color using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. The interface design is an illustration of what the cocoa pod maturity classification system will be built using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. An overview of the results is usually made in the form of user interface design or interface design. The K-Nearest Neighbors method can be applied to classify the maturity level of cocoa pods based on ripe and immature colors using matlab software. 2. The results of the image data training process as many as 30 image data are inputted, the training results obtained are 100%. 3. From the feature extraction of red, green, blue, hue, saturation, value and image area of cocoa pods based on color, it can be classified the maturity level of cocoa pods based on color, whether ripe or immature.

Abstract

By utilizing customer data that has been stored in a database, management can find out how the current sales system is less efficient, therefore a system is needed to process information data more quickly and precisely in increasing sales of motorbike spare parts by using the Data Mining application. The Apriori Algorithm method works by searching and finding patterns of association between the products being marketed, so that later it can help the company in improving the associated items. And with sales transaction data, companies can know better how they should increase spare parts stock in the company. From the results of testing sales of motorbike spare parts with a total of 219 data, the results of the Apriori Algorithm calculations are: A3 (N-Max) has 23 items, M2 (Yamaha) has 35 items, S1 (Brake Pads) has 15 items.
