Geographically, the Makassar city is located in a strategic eastern Indonesian region that bringing consequency to become the gate of export for trading product. The research objectives are to create development model of fisheries industry in Makassar city base on the fishing port, to describe the existing condition of fishing activities and its influence level to formulate significant influence factors, and to formulate development strategy of fisheries industry in Makassar city. This research was conducted from March to November 2009 in Makassar city. Data was taken from fishery industries as respondent, such as fishing characteristic, fishing industry, management industry, export, and policy. The result of SEM analysis showed the goodness of fit index criterias, namely: chi-square, probability, RMSEA, CFI, IFI, GFI, AGFI, and PGFI. Based on the regression analysis on weight values of the interaction with other factors, it can be significant or non-significant relation, wherereas the significant relation is necessary. The goverment policy on the development of Untia Archipelago Fishing Port in Makassar city is to continue fishing activity to provide materials of fishery industry. Semarang waterfront is a unique ecosystem which has a variety potentialities and problem of using some natural resources, especially in the trade-off between economic growth and ecological preservation. Generally the handling operation of waterfront city in Indonesia is not effective, caused by (1) low budged and increase the poverty; (2) over loaded investment; (3) destroyed of ecology and ecosystem; (4) the lost of local wisdom; and (5) other problem in commonly urban city. Based on these conditions, this research aimed to design an environmental management policy ensuring a profitable synergy of all stakeholders without sacrificing the principles of environmental conservation. The objective of this study was to analyze the index and sustainability status of the Semarang waterfront area, based on five sustainable dimensions. Secondary data resources have been used from literature study and references, primary data have been received from questionairy feedback and expert judgement survey. The analysis used multi dimensional scalling (MDS) method, called Rap-WITEPA, and the results were stated in the index and sustainability status.The second objective was to analyze the attributes that affect sensitivity on index and sustainability status and the effect of error using Laverage and Monte Carlo Analysis. The result of this study show that ecological dimension was in the status of less sustainable (49,34), economical dimension was sufficient sustainable (53,96), socio-culture dimension was sufficient sustainable (52,21), dimension of infrastructure and technology was sufficient sustainable (56,72) and dimension of law & institutional was the highest sufficient sustainability value index (57,19). Out of 94 attributes analyzed, there were 50 attributes need to be handled immediately as they affect sensitivity on the increase of index and sustainability status with negligible error in the level of 95% confidence limit. It was concluded that an important factor of waterfront city handling operation design in Semarang is social community development, land use efficiency, industry contribution, electricity, and local society organization. Cooperative is an economic organization of farmers who have strategic positions in improving the welfare of its members and is a constitutional mandate to strengthen the national economy in anticipation of neoliberal economic development in an era of global trade. To strengthen the Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD) requires information through the development model of effective KUD organizational communication. The purposes of this research were (1) to examine the role of KUD organizational communication factors for performance and capacity development as agriculture economic organization, (2) to analyze the correlation of KUD organizational communication factors in associated with KUD role in efforts to improve utilization of rice milling, (3) to formulate a model of KUD organizational communication in anticipating the globalization era. KUD sample of fair active category as the analysis unit consists of five KUD in Karawang District, they are KUD Sri Mukya, KUD Sumber Padi, KUD Warga Bakti, KUD Warga Tani and KUD Mitra Tani. This research was designed with survey method using SEM analysis (structural equation model). It was conducted at research location in December 2009 until March 2010. SEM analysis result showed that there was a positive and significance of the KUD performance to KUD capacity for KUD service quality improvement in the utilization of rice milling, which means testing the main hypothesis or alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This research interests to analyze factors affecting the organizational culture and job satisfaction and how far it affects the organizational commitment of the administrative staff of Indonesia open university (UT). This research uses a sample of 150 administrative staff in the main office to represent the entire class based on the existing population by using stratified random sampling method. Data obtained were analyzed by using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of LISREL 8.30 software. SEM analysis results reveal that the factors influencing the UT’s organizational culture are leaders appreciate ideas, accommodate ideas and suggestions, good ideas are not always responded by the top level for the leaders are not close enough to employees, institutions award when problems solved, leaders receive wise advice, institutions specifically encourage improvements in the workplace, and expects to increase and practice the valid work unit procedures. The factors that influence the job satisfaction in UT are being satisfied with the remuneration paid, promotion opportunities, praise, leaders’ skills, leaders’ assertive acts, the work environment, and coworker relationships. Organizational culture and job satisfaction have directly and significantly positive effect on organizational commitment of the UT’s administration staff. These findings indicate that the more adaptive organizational culture and the higher job satisfaction, the higher organizational commitment for UT’s administrative staff. Knowledge-based economics can[1] be achieved by using the role of knowledge to commercialize university research result in the agroindustry activities. Collaboration as a model to realize transfer of technology between university and agroindustry is institutional proven model. The use of science and technology in the new era of knowledge-based economy is expected to contribute in improvement of nation competitiveness. Decision making in the complex, dynamic and probabilistic problem as founded in the collaboration model needs analytical tools such as analytical hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy inference system (FIS) and artificial neural network (ANN) as well as the combination of both techniques which is one of the best method for designing Model of University and Small, Medium Agroindustry collaboration in transferring technology as a reliable model in the future. Takagi-Sugeno-Kang Inference System is used to have input-output mapping using fuzzy logic, and artificial neural network with back propagation mechanism is used to get optimal membership parameters. Knowledge acquisition of the experts are needed together with ANFIS (adaptive network fuzzy inference system). After having simulation using Matlab program by combining ANFIS for Fuzzy membership function and certainty factor for non fuzzy membership function, recommendation is made on networking as collaboration pattern on transferring of innovation technology is the best choice, and fishery agroindustry using incubator technology as institution model is the best evidence of certainty factor achieved.
