Abstract

This study aims to explore the urgency of reason and conscience (akal budi) in modern life through a content analysis of the Endgame podcast episode titled "Akal Budi Tidak untuk Disia-siakan" ("Reason and Conscience Are Not to Be Wasted"). The research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis and philosophical hermeneutics. The main findings reveal that akal budi is a fundamental human potential increasingly marginalized in a pragmatic and materialistic contemporary culture. The podcast invites deep reflection on how fast-paced, competitive, and technocentric modern life has diminished the contemplative spaces essential for nurturing human wisdom. Furthermore, the grounded philosophical discourse in the podcast offers a novel, accessible, and existential approach to life. The novelty of this research lies in utilizing podcast media as a contextual and spiritual source of philosophical thought. The study implies the urgency of reforming education and public discourse to foster spaces that support conscience, moral reflection, and human-centered values.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi penting bagi pembangunan suatu negara. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran pendidikan dalam mewujudkan potensi indonesia pada tahun 2045. Sumber data yang di peroleh dengan menyimak narasi dari channel Youtube Gita Wirjawan yang berjudul “Buka Jalan Menuju mimpi dan Pengetahuan”. Melalui analisis kebijakan publik dan pembiayaan pendidikan, Artikel ini membahas tantangan dan solusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di indonesia, termasuk masalah akses dan kualitas yang belum merata. Dengan demikian, Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada diskusi tentang pendidikan dan pembangunan di Indonesia, serta menjadi inspirasi bagi pembaca untuk membuat dampak positif dalam bidang pendidikan. Melalui refleksi pengalaman dan komitmen untuk membuat dampak sosial yang positif, Artikel ini berupaya memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya Pendidikan dalam membangun masa depan Indonesia.

Abstract

The enactment of Indonesia’s 2023 Criminal Code (KUHP) marks a new phase in the nation’s legal history. This reform does not merely replace colonial penal provisions but represents a paradigm shift toward a more humanistic and nationally oriented system of justice. This study examines the reform through two lenses: legal politics and linguistic analysis. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, it explores both the normative substance of the new KUHP and the linguistic features that reflect a progressive legal ideology. Findings indicate that the reform embodies Indonesia’s legal decolonization by shifting the philosophy of punishment from retribution to restoration. Linguistically, the new KUHP demonstrates more communicative, inclusive, and persuasive patterns in diction, syntax, and pragmatics, transforming the law into a discursive medium that fosters public awareness. Legal language designed to be more communicative, precise, and participatory, embodying substantive justice and Pancasila values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of code-switching in English language instruction in Indonesian high schools, with an emphasis on the benefits and challenges that arise in the language immersion process in English learning. Through descriptive qualitative research, data is collected through student observation, reflective analysis, and informal student interviews. The results indicate that the strategic use of code-switching by teachers can increase students' comprehension of the material, decrease their level of understanding, and increase their sensitivity, especially for those who have a lower proficiency in English. However, more advanced usage can cause a dependence on the first language, which hinders the immersion learning process. Factors such as the use of English in daily interactions can negatively impact students' perceptions and responses to this strategy. Accordingly, code-switching can be an effective educational solution if it is used carefully and according to students' needs, as well as enhancing the concept of differentiation in instruction in the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how reason, as the highest gift to humans, plays a role in maintaining the direction and values of life amid moral, social, and spiritual challenges in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method by conducting observations and literature studies. The main source comes from the YouTube video Endgame #110 entitled “Dr. Fahruddin Faiz: Reason is Not to be Wasted,” which conveys a philosophical message about the importance of honoring reason as a divine mandate. The results of the study show that reason plays a central role in character building, spiritual development, and strengthening critical thinking. This study stems from the author's reflection on the urgency of Islamic values and philosophy education in shaping wise and civilized social awareness.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG) is one of the government's main initiatives designed to address stunting and improve the nutritional quality of children in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of the MBG Program from the perspectives of management, fund distribution, and impact. The method used is qualitative with a literature study method through analysis of supporting data and critical evaluation related to the program's implementation. The results of the study show that the MBG not only functions as a program to address stunting but also as a legacy project with strong political implications. The main challenges faced include the lack of kitchen hygiene standards, the possibility of budget waste, and unpreparedness in implementation. The benefits of this study provide insight for decision makers in formulating improvement measures. This program must be managed openly and responsibly. The implications of the MBG's failure could risk undermining public trust and disrupting efforts to address stunting. There needs to be a temporary suspension, improvements in management, and strengthening of the digital system so that the program can run effectively and on target.

Abstract

This paper considers the role of digital trust, perceived usefulness, social influence, and logistics reliability, as well as checkout option (cash-on-delivery and digital payment) in online consumer behavior among four Asian markets (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and Vietnam). The information systems theory (TAM/UTAUT) and consumer trust literature guided the implementation of the study that provided cross-sectional survey (N = 2,412) and analyzed the findings through PLS-SEM with multi-group analysis. We discover that the strongest predictors of purchase intention are trust and logistics reliability whereas perceived usefulness is the major predictors of continuance intention. The choice of checkout has a dual nature: cash-on-delivery is perceived to reduce the perceived risk of payment and the trust-intention relationship in lower card-penetration samples but enhances the usefulness- continuance relationship in higher-adoption samples. The social influence has minor but influential effects, especially on the newer online shoppers. The invariance tests employed post-hoc demonstrates that these correlations hold up widely across the four markets, and there are significant differences in the degree of moderation of a checkout choice. We comment on the implication of information systems design and platform strategy with in particular information systems investments in transparent logistics, order tracking, and multi-rails payments. Some of the limitations are self-reported behavior and cross-sectional design. We find that there is a best fit between Asia and trust-first, rails-flexible architectures and suggest market sensitive nudges to shift to the digital-based without losing the perceived safety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan tekanan kerja terhadap turnover karyawan gudang di PT. Limindi Sukses Bersama. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi di perusahaan adalah tingginya tingkat turnover karyawan gudang yang dapat berdampak pada stabilitas operasional dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan populasi 45 karyawan gudang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner tertutup dengan skala likert. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover, (2) tekanan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover, dan (3) kepuasan kerja dan tekanan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover karyawan. Oleh karena itu, kepuasan kerja yang lebih tinggi menyebabkan turnover yang lebih rendah, dan tekanan kerja yang lebih tinggi menyebabkan turnover karyawan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how intelligence and ego interact in the process of character formation and self-development, using Dr. Tirta's personal experience as the main case study. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study relies on observation and note-taking techniques from in-depth dialogues between Gita Wirjawan and Dr. Tirta in the video “For Dr. Tirta, Intelligence is Never Enough,” which highlights the dynamics of academic pressure, family demands, and a reflective journey in balancing intelligence and humility. The results of the study show that intellectual intelligence without ego control can lead to rigidity in thinking, difficulty accepting criticism, and stagnation in emotional development. However, Dr. Tirta's experience also shows that through the support of family, teachers, a culture of reading, and a continuous process of self-reflection, individuals can develop a mature, adaptive character and be able to manage their ego constructively. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of integrated character education, which not only emphasizes academic achievement but also the development of emotional and moral intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to spark discussion on how education and technology can be used as tools to create more aware and visionary citizens, who will ultimately shape a better future for Indonesia. This study report uses a descriptive qualitative method by conducting observations because the data sources were obtained by listening to the narration from Gita Wirjawan's YouTube channel entitled Alamanda Shantika: Technology Needs Conscience | Endgame #17. The results of this study explain that rapid technological advances must be balanced with increased human awareness and intelligent conscience. Technology should function as a tool to encourage humans to recognize themselves and react positively to the world, not the other way around.
