Abstract

Adolescents who have poor nutritional status, rarely eat breakfast, consume less fruit and vegetables, and have low knowledge of stunting can be risk factors for giving birth to stunted babies in the future. One strategy that can be done to increase student knowledge is through the provision of education in the form of webinars. The webinar activity with the theme "Adolescent Stunting Prevention at MAN 2 Surakarta" was conducted by providing information to students about the role of adolescents in stunting prevention, healthy lifestyles in adolescents, and processing healthy menus for adolescents. This activity went well and was attended by 65 students. Through this Webinar activity, adolescent knowledge related to stunting increased significantly (p = 0.000) which was indicated by an increase in the post-test score (9.85) compared to the pretest score (7.98). Increased knowledge of adolescents related to stunting can be one of the strategies to prevent stunting in the future. Similar program with other health issues can be given to adolescents in order to increase their understanding to implement a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

The phenomenon found that children of pre-school age have the habit of not paying attention to the need to wash their hands and the low ability to wash their hands 6 steps in children of pre-school age. 6-step handwashing behavior is an activity carried out in cleaning hands with 6 steps aimed at maintaining cleanliness and killing germs disease. This study aims to determine the influence of storytelling with audio-visual media on the behavior of washing hands with soap in preschool-age children in Raudhatul Athfal Baitul Hikmah, Depok City. The sampling method in this study used a one-group pretest posttest design with a cross-sectional approach, a total sampling technique of 20 respondents. The results showed pretest behavior as much as 30%, and posttest behavior  by 70% there was a difference between pretest and posttest by 40% with a P Value value = 0.000 < α 0.05). So it can be concluded that storytelling with audio-visual media about the behavior of washing hands with soap in preschool-age children has a significant effect on the ability to wash hands 6 steps in preschool age children. Therefore, it is hoped that all parties will be able to apply and develop using storytelling methods (audio-visual) that have been proven effective in increasing knowledge and changing health behaviors in pre-school age.

Abstract

The learning media are needed to support teaching and learning activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. The pandemic condition caused limited teaching and learning activities in class. The situation made the learning activity becomes an online class. Geography is one of the subjects that is affected by the situation. Geography learning activities need direct explanation and practice. So the students can understand easily. The learning media using WebGIS technology can offer a solution to overcome these limitations. WebGIS can be operated online with interactive menus. Both teachers and students can do together in the learning activities. This study purposed to introduce WebGIS to support geography subjects in online classes. The development of GIS technology is currently moving very fast and is leading to a web form. Geography Education teachers need to know and know what GIS is to stay abreast of technological developments. In collaboration with the Geography MGMP in Sukoharjo Regency, this activity was carried out to introduce WebGIS to teachers and upgrade the GIS material.

Abstract

Kondang Merak Beach has several community groups that inhabit and manage the beach. One of the local community groups is Bina Karya Mina fishing group. Apart from fishing, which was their main livelihood, this group of fishermen was also proficient in diving and snorkeling. However, due to the lack of training in diving for the fishermen, the diving equipment that is there is not properly utilized. Knowledge about first aid for diving accident victims is also needed not only when a fishermen’s diving accident occurs but can also be used to help tourists when an accident occurs while snorkeling or swimming at the beach. This community service activity aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of the Bina Karya Mina fishing group in terms of diving, especially first aid for accident victims at Kondang Merak Beach, Malang Regency. This activity was divided into three stages of activity, namely the preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting stages. The implementation stage of this community service activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, namely socialization material was given online, while practical activities and handover of first aid assistance are carried out offline. Through this activity, it was expected to improve the ability of fishermen in the field of diving. In addition, socialization about first aid kits as supporting equipment to help accident victims was carried out as well so that they could increase the preparedness of fishermen on Kondang Merak Beach in case of an emergency.

Abstract

The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in infants 0-6 months in Lampung province was 70.1%. Coverage in Central Lampung district was 65.2% of the achievement target of 80%. One of the factors that influenced the failure of exclusive breastfeeding was the delay in milk production after delivery. The oxytocin massage technique is one of the efforts to overcome the uneven production of breast milk. To find out the Effect of Oxytocin Massage on the Expenditure of Breast Milk Production in Post-Partum Mothers at Eka Rini Maternal Clinic, Kalirejo District, Lampung. This study applied quantitative research, and the design used in this research was a Quasi Experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design approach. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers at Eka Rini Maternal Clinic, Sinar Sari Village, Kalirejo District, Central Lampung Regency, as of July 2022, totalling 12 respondents. In this study the sampling technique used total sampling. Based on statistical tests, a p-value of 0.013 was obtained or a p-value <0.05, which means that there is an effect of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Eka Rini Maternal Clinic, Kalirejo District, Lampung. There was an effect of oxytocin massage on the production of breast milk production in postpartum mothers. It is better to do regular oxytocin massages during the postpartum period to help facilitate breastfeeding, and nutritional intake and factors supporting breast milk production must also be maintained so that breast milk production can always be smooth and not hinder breastfeeding to the baby.
