Abstract

Abstract – The results of observations at the X hospital in Central Java revealed that there were not a few patients who experienced hopelessness so that the healing process became more difficult and longer due to negative patient perceptions. To overcome this, of course, requires the performance of components from hospital health including nurses to help recover patients through positive thinking. For this reason, this study wants to examine the role of nurses as educators for patients at Hospital X. The aim is to find out the role given by educational nurses to patients at Hospital X, Central Java. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with 50 respondents selected by purposive sampling and random sampling. Data collection procedures were carried out through observation, interview documentation, and distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. After the data is obtained, an in-depth analysis will be carried out so that it is known that the nurse educator provides a fairly positive role worth 55% in helping patients to have positive thoughts so that recovery and treatment time becomes more effective and efficient. Nevertheless, it is also known that nurse educators do not feel optimal in carrying out their performance due to several factors such as a lack of personnel in the team, training that has not been ongoing and so on which has resulted in their skills not developing rapidly.

Abstract

Abstract – Pregnant women with heart disease cannot be denied, even though heart disease is a disease that is considered serious and can pose a risk of death. Treatment of pregnant women with heart disease must be carried out carefully to minimize the occurrence of dangerous risks for both the mother and the fetus. Therefore researchers want to find out more about the treatment of heart disease in pregnant women. The purpose of this study is to find out the appropriate handling procedures for pregnant women with heart disease. The research method used is qualitative with library research so that the data collected is in the form of a variety of information that is spread either through journals, research or books according to the research objective. The data found were then analyzed to find out the results of the research. The results of the study show that if a patient is known to have heart disease before pregnancy, he or she usually has to consult first with the cardiologist who handles it. However, if you don't have a history of heart disease before, you will continue to be monitored by a multidisciplinary doctor to reduce the risk of harm to both the pregnant woman and the fetus, bearing in mind that during pregnancy the heart works harder than when you are not pregnant.

This study aims to determine the effect of smoking on the formation of stains on the teeth. This research is descriptive research, which aims to describe the condition of the respondents statistically. The research was conducted in November 2022. The research was carried out for one month by collecting respondent data from all puskesmas in Cirebon Regency, West Java. The research instruments used were interviews and checklists. The instrument records the age, length of smoking, shape of the cigarette and color of the respondent's teeth. Respondent criteria are active smokers from the age of 10 to 60 years and are willing to be research respondents. Respondents in this study numbered 112. The results showed that the color of the respondent's teeth were four colors, namely yellow, black, brown and dark brown. However, the most dominant tooth color was dark brown with a percentage of 55.4% or as many as 62 respondents out of 112 respondents. The conclusion of this study is that smoking can affect the formation of plaque on the teeth. Plaque formation on the teeth is most commonly found with dark brown teeth.

Abstract

Abstract – Toothache in children is a common problem and is felt by children who experience continuous aching teeth. Types of dental problems such as cavities, brittle teeth, are caused by the habit of eating chocolate, candy and not brushing your teeth regularly. In addition to toothache, children also experience abnormalities in the mouth, such as bad breath due to rotten teeth. The event of toothache in children begins when the child begins to grow his teeth perfectly. Range at the age of 1.5 - 6 years. The process of child growth and development has formed a flat tooth arrangement. If at the age of golden age children do not get regular, healthy and proper dental care, it will have an impact on the strength of the teeth in their teens to adulthood. The purpose of this study is to provide understanding and prevention as well as appropriate actions for dental care in children. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach to literature study design. The results of the study explained that the habit of brushing teeth properly and appropriately needs to be given training for children. The role of medical personnel in realizing the healthy teeth movement program for children provides an opportunity for schools to become partners in the children's healthy teeth program regularly every 6 months. Collaboration between dentists, schools and parents can be realized consciously and planned.

Abstract

Abstract – Dental health is a component of health in school-age children that their parents need to pay attention to. The subjects in this study consisted of 50 parents who had school-age children between 4-10 years in Harjamukti District, Cirebon City. The aim of this research was to look at the parents' perspective on the dental health of school-age children. The method used is observational through a questionnaire on parents who have school-age children. Data collection was carried out through interviews and questionnaires. The results of the study show that most parents have a fairly good perspective and are concerned about the dental health of their children who are at school age. However, there are also some parents who do not understand the dangers of dental caries in children. In this case, parents with a fairly good perspective and care about children's dental health have no relationship with the parents' occupational factors.

Abstract

Abstract – Maintaining health from an early age is important to do. Nutrition has an important role in the growth and development of a child. The habit of eating snacks at school is a habit that almost all students do at school. However, the importance of children's snacks at school is not supported by the nutritional content in the food consumed by students. Objective: to find out the factors that influence the habit of random snacks in children. Methods: This research method uses descriptive quantitative research methods, using a cross section study research design with data collection techniques carried out using a random survey of 20 elementary school children. Results: (1) The breakfast variable has a positive and insignificant relationship, (2) the variable knowledge of nutrition in food and (3) bringing supplies to school has a negative and significant relationship to the decision to consume random snacks, (4) the influence of variables X1, X2 , and X3 to Y of 42.32% while 57.68% is influenced by other variables outside the model. Conclusion: The variables of knowledge (X2) and carrying provisions (X3) have a significant influence on reducing students' decisions to consume random snacks at school.

Abstract

Abstract This study conducted a review of the interaction between dietary patterns, food nutrition, and lifestyle in relation to the assessment of health status. Dietary patterns have the advantage of considering any correlations that may exist between foods or food groups, but also between nutrients. The purpose of this research is to carry out an alternative and complementary approach in analyzing the relationship between nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. To determine dietary patterns, an index/score can be used to assess the suitability of a diet with nutritional guidelines or a predetermined pattern (a priori approach). The method used is a qualitative approach based on exploratory data (a posteriori): cluster analysis and factor analysis. Dietary patterns can vary according to gender, socio-economic status, ethnicity, culture and other factors, but more than that, the relationship between these three things can vary depending on the different relationships between these factors. Diet patterns influence health synergistically or even together with other lifestyle factors, and therefore we can refer to lifestyle patterns.
