Abstract

This article discusses the teachings of Sheikh Siti Jenar from the perspective of the Wujudiyyah doctrine in the literature of Sufism. In the Indonesian Sufism-Philosophy discourse, Sheikh Siti Jenar is one of the controversial sufis, both from her origins, teachings, to her death. For this reason, we try not to mention in detail the pros and cons that adorn him; rather it focuses on his teachings and sayings in a Sufistic context and their relevance to today's life. This paper uses the method of analyzing the literature of Syekh Siti Jenar's thoughts descriptively. Some points that can be summarized from this research are: Sheikh Siti Jenar's teachings are identical to the conception of embodiment al-Hallaj, the principle of Manunggaling Kawula Gusti taught by Sheikh Siti Jenar trying to correct the meaning of our monotheism values ??which are too shallow esoteric, and above all that his teachings are still relevant if we want to delve deeper into our modern life today..

Abstract

This article discusses the purpose of education, namely developing the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear Allah SWT so that they have a noble personality plus self-competence in accordance with a prophetic vision that refers to the Prophet Muhammad as a role model. In writing this article, the researcher uses the methodology of studying Islamic literature by referring to the subject matter of professional education. In achieving these educational goals, there are three main frameworks (if referring to QS. Ali Imran: 110): First, humanization (amar ma'ruf) or humanizing humans, where students are used as subjects of education, not objects of education; Second, liberation (directed nahi mungkar) or having a place for students to face critical problems that occur in the midst of society so that they are able to find solutions; Third, transcendence (tu'minuuna billah), which is the process of making students recognize the virtues and have the dimension of moral cultivation

Abstract

Apart from the pros and cons of tahlilan among Muslims, there are those who do Tahlilan, some are not. For those who do not carry it out in a postulate it is not Islamic teachings originating from the Qur'an and Hadith. Some argue Tahilan is a party that only costs money. The events carried out by various religions and beliefs in the Capar II Block especially the Mosque Block, Urug Block, Sipedang Block, Silawet are a form of religious pluralism. Abstract

This article discusses the role of three Islamic theologians in the treasures of Islamic thought. The three figures are Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Jauziyah, and Abdul Wahab. All three have important contributions and have a strong influence on Muslims to this day. Moreover, along with the development of Islamic teachings, the Muslim community adheres to different theological schools. One of these schools is the Salafiyyah school. The three figures we discussed also fall into the category of this Salafiyyah school. In this research, we use a qualitative methodology based on an analysis of the Islamic literature review. First, we briefly describe the meaning of Salaf and Salafiyyah, then we briefly describe the biographies of three Salafiyyah figures or theologians and their thoughts on monotheism and its impact on the benefit of the people. Some of the results of this research include: the thoughts of Ibn Taimiyyah, Ibn Jauziyyah, and Abdul Wahab are based on three main principles: (1) prioritizing the revealed text over reason; (2) rejecting theological issues (kalam); and (3) strict adherence to the Koran, Hadith, and ijma'.
