Abstract

This activity is carried out by UMKM. After we have carried out a survey of UMKM in Baru Tengah Subdistrict and determined the targets for UMKMs that we will provide assistance to, namely the Waste Bank Business which is located at RT.38 Jl. Student Hill No.27 Baru Tengah Village, West Balikpapan District. The problem faced by these business actors is that they do not have digital-based marketing and require the development of more varied innovations and do not have simple financial records. The results of this activity are in the form of innovative development of products developed by the Waste Bank and the creation of social media to expand cooperation networks to all parties.

Abstract

Fresh drinks in the form of herbal medicine are one type of drink that is popular with Indonesian people. Apart from its relatively cheap price, herbal medicine is also considered to provide health benefits. Many Indonesian people like to consume herbal drinks, which in turn opens up opportunities for businesses to make them. Forms of herbal medicine production businesses are generally still small in size or what we often refer to as Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs. Management by the community in the form of small businesses is generally still carried out simply, both in production activities and financial administration management. One of the innovation development activities carried out by STIE Madani Balikpapan students and lecturers is providing assistance to improve management of both production and financial administration in these small businesses. Several mentoring and innovation development activities that have been carried out at the "Mba Ren" Fresh Drinks located at RT 40 Kelurahan Sungai Nangka, Kecamatan South Balikpapan, Balikpapan include improving product packaging, developing digital marketing, and improving financial administration. This innovation development activity ended with a MSMEs seminar for residents around RT 40.

Abstract

Writing a scientific article is an important step in preparing for a quality final assignment. A good scientific article not only describes research clearly and systematically, but also shows its relevance and contribution to the chosen field. Therefore, students are required to understand the concepts in preparing scientific articles. This workshop aims to provide the understanding and skills needed in writing scientific articles, appropriate structure, and techniques in the article writing process. The method in this PKM includes presentation, practice and discussion sessions. Participants were introduced to the steps in writing a scientific article including selecting the article title, identifying questions, reviewing the topic, preparing a framework for thinking, collecting data, analyzing data and discussing the results. Apart from that, participants will be taught how to avoid plagiarism and comply with the code of ethics in scientific writing. It is hoped that the results of this workshop will be able to provide knowledge and in-depth understanding about writing scientific articles that are suitable for publication in reputable journals.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan kecakapan anak dalam mengungkapkan ide/gagasan yang ada dalam diri anak secara lisan kepada orang lain. Pengungkapan ide tersebut dapat dilihat dari kemampuan anak dalam mengeluarkan pendapatnya. Salah satu cara atau metode untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara anak adalah media gambar. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode deskripti kualitatif dan terdiri dari beberapa jenis kegiatan, yaitu menjelaskan keterampilan berbicara dan media gambar, meminta anak untuk menceritakan pengalaman mereka masing-masing, dan menceritakan isi gambar menggunakan kata-kata sendiri.
