Abstract

Tengguli Village is one of the villages in Bangsri District, Jepara, where most of the land use is used for buildings or yards. Empty land or land can be used as productive activities that can improve the family's economy, improve community food security, and utilize superior local products of the village. Utilization of vacant land or yard needs to be developed in Tengguli Village with the socialization of planting techniques for potting plants (TaRaPot). This activity aims to increase public knowledge about various types of plants in pots and their planting techniques, and utilize garden plants to meet kitchen needs without having to buy. The method used is a participatory method where the community is placed as a subject in every activity, starting from planning, implementation, and evaluation. The program begins with the provision of materials about garden plants and their benefits in daily life, then directly practices planting garden plants in pots by the demonstration method. This program runs with very high enthusiasm from the participants. The implementation of this program can increase community knowledge regarding the optimal use of yard and can help food security in daily life. Abstract

Posdaya is one element of a section within a community. One of the fields contained in it i.e. the education. Early childhood education is one of the methods or the way done by the Posdaya to develop their community. Therefore the purpose of this activity is to find out the role of Posdaya in the development of early childhood education in Kampung Batu Hulung, Bubulak Vi, district of Bogor Coal through SUIJI-SLP (Six University Initiative Japan Indonesia – Service Learning Program). Abstract

This activity was carried out in Bubulak Village RW 06, where most of the residents work as traders and small entrepreneurs (micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs)). The existing MSMEs can be used as community economic empowerment and the number of workers that can be absorbed, but the rapid growth in the number of MSMEs is not accompanied by high sales figures. One of the problems faced in sales is the reach of marketing areas, so knowledge is needed to find out how to analyze market opportunities, how to choose target markets, and how to manage effective marketing efforts that are supported by the effectiveness of marketing communication itself. This activity aims to provide knowledge about the use of social media as marketing media and provide skills to MSME owners in utilizing social media in order to increase marketing outreach. Community service activities are carried out in the form of training by providing materials and practices using social media. The success of this community service activity is supported by the following factors: 1) There is support from the Bubulak Village RW 06 apparatus, 2) There is support from the local community, especially MSME owners in Bubulak Village RW 06, 3) All participants are fully aware of the need ¬tention and benefits of this counseling in order to increase its ability in the use of social media to increase the range of marketing of MSME products, especially in Bubulak Village RW 06, 4) Infrastructure facilities provided by the MSME owner community in Bubulak Village RW 06. Counseling conducted by The SUIJI - SLP team can achieve the expected goals, namely increasing the knowledge of MSME owners, especially in terms of utilizing social media to increase the reach of MSME product marketing. Abstract

Bubulak village is an area where almost all of its land has been turned into housing, so there is less land for agriculture. However, there are some paddy fields whose size is only ± 300 m to ± 600 m. The problems that occurs is the existence of Plant Pests (PP). PP include pests, diseases and weeds that interfere with the physiology of plants, eat parts of plants, become intermediaries for other organisms that are more destructive, disturbing in obtaining living necessities of cultivated plants. Pests that often attack rice plants are brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens), sting bug (Leptocorica acuta), rats, and fleas. Avoiding the pest attack can be done with the right technical features such as spacing, rotation of varieties, and irrigation. This study aims to determine the technical culture carried out by Bubulak village farmers on lowland rice to eracdicate Plant Pests (PP). This study was conducted in Bubulak village, West Bogor District, Bogor City. The method used is an interview to the community. The results obtained are rice varieties plants by farmer is IR 64. The spasing system used is not jajar legowo system and makes the irrigation system around the plantations. It can be concluded that the technical culture (method of cultivation of farmers in Bubulak village is still not appropriate in planting lowland rice. Abstract

Taro is the main commodity in Situgede Village with Taiwanese taro and bentul taro varieties. The farmers are more focused on developing Taiwan taro because Taiwan taro is more tolerant of pest and disease attacks even though for the quality of bentul taro are superior. The current problems is In the agricultural process carried out by farmers in the village of Situgede during the planting period until the taro harvest there is no cultivation that is carried out specifically, so that the yield obtained is not optimal. It is necessary to do taro cultivation techniques and special attention related to planting spacing, intercropping, and extermination of existing pests to increase the value of taro production in Situgede Village. This study aims to find out how to cultivate Bogor taro plants in Situgede Village, Bogor Regency, West Java. And to find out the process of taro farming in Bogor in Situgede Village, Bogor, West Java. The methods used were observation, interviews, and observations through direct participation (SUIJI SLP 2019 program) in the community in the village of Situgede. The results obtained from this study are the main pests that attack taro plants in Situgede village are grasshoppers (Oxya sp.) which cause symptoms in the form of hollow leaves. Abstract

Catfish farming conducted in Karanggatak Village, Klego District, Boyolali Regency is an effort to earn income during the dry season and dry land. This catfish cultivation business is a program carried out by the local village government and will later be developed into a catfish village. This program aims to utilize catfish with the concept of zero waste to increase higher economic results in order to create added value for catfish. Added value is expected to help improve the economy during the dry season. Diversification of catfish processing aims to provide training to the community to process catfish into nuggets and chips that produce no leftovers. The concept of zero waste is used because this concept can provide more effective results for utilizing catfish and obtain greater profits. The method used is lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The results obtained are increased skills and additional knowledge to process catfish, so they can support the village catfish program. Abstract

The Japanese eel fish (Anguilla spp.) is a high economical consumption fish with high nutritional content. Japanese eel fish according to high protein (16.4%) And vitamin A amounted to 4700IU. In addition, a Japanese eel fish (glass eel) also containing unsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA). One of the areas in Indonesia that has a great potential for glass eel resources is the province of West Java precisely at the estuary of Cimandiri River, Sukabumi. High export demand resulted in an increased arrest effort at Palabuhanratu Bay to threaten its population. This study aims to examine the activities of the Japanese Eel fish seed arrest accompanied by the sustainable management of the Japanese Eel fish resources in the estuary of Cimandiri River, West Java. The threat of a Japanese Eel resource on the Cimandiri River is caused by several factors. Such factors are such as environmental pollution, uncontrolled overfishing or arrest, and low awareness of the public to conduct sustainable use of the Japanese eel fish. Therefore, the solution that can be applied is community based management. Community-based management of this Japanese eel resource is a management with a community-based cultivation strategy. The cultivation of Japanese eel is a step in the preservation of Japanese eel as well as impact on the improvement of social life and community economy. Abstract

Silk worms (Tubifex sp.) Is a natural food that is widely used as fish food. The nutritional content of silk worms consisting of protein reaches 57%, fat 13.3%, crude fiber 2.04%, ash content 3.6% and water 87.7%. Silk worms contain 13 kinds of amino acids, namely 7 essential amino acids and 6 non-essential amino acids. The study was conducted in Cidadap Village, Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi in August 2019. This research was conducted to find out and obtain the best composition of maintenance media to increase the growth of Silkworm (Tubifex sp) population through efforts to utilize organic wastes of catfish farming so that their utilization more optimal. The method used in this activity is cultivation using fiber pool. Cidadap and Loji villages have enormous potential to cultivate silk worms (Tubifex sp.). Cidadap Village is one area that needs Silk Worms (Tubifex sp) to support glass eel cultivation activities, so that the results of this cultivation are very utilized. Silkworm cultivation carried out together with the cultivation of catfish with a biofloc system gives good results for the growth of silkworm biomass (Tubifex sp.). Abstract

The study was conducted in Nambo Village, Klapa Nunggal District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. As many as 80% of Perhutani's land has not yet been opened and utilized by the community. Land clearing is carried out based on social entrepreneurship. Although carried out by means of socialization published in the community itself, who do not know information about agriculture and villages supported by the information system, thus the information system can help in the delivery and obtaining various needs such as social entrepreneurship. Research Objectives (1) Studying the process of community empowerment based on social entrepreneurship in agriculture and animal husbandry (2) helping the development of information system 4.0 through the website (3). This research method is qualitative with descriptive data analysis of Grounded Theory Approach research design techniques. The sample used was purposive sampling from 24 people selected. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validation is done with member approval. Data analysis uses open, axial and selective codes. The results showed that the process of community empowerment through stages (1) Awareness, involving community leaders as instructors, mobilizers, motivators and role models, (2) Capacitation, through training activities, (3) Empowerment, through community assistance. Supporting factors for social entrepreneurship are (a) Initial capital, (b) Active participation of farmers and livestock groups, and (c) the role of community leaders. Inhibiting factors of social entrepreneurship and information system development 4.0 are (a) Low leadership, (b) Lack of human resources (c) Lack of capacity in agriculture and animal husbandry, (d) Lack of knowledge about information systems and (e) Limited to seeking information. Abstract

There are a lot of agriculture businesses in Indonesia, but there is no maximum utilization of economic waste from cacao beans and that is of economical value. Cacao beans be produced should not be used as raw materials that are directly sold but can be additional products that have high economic value if processed properly. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of cocoa beans into chocolate jam that supports the efforts of farmers in the village Sidomulyo, Kecamatan Lebak barang, Pekalongan Regency. The method used in this study is the first stage, namely the preparation of fermented and unfermented (drying) cocoa beans and the interview method. Based on the experimental results, it was found that the cocoa butter processed from roasted unfermented cocoa beans had better quality than the cocoa butter prepared from roasted fermented cocoa beans and chocolate jam using 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder had very good aroma and flavor.
