Abstract

This research discusses the influence of population on the economic growth of Batang Hari Regency in 2012-2022. Variable population as the independent variable, and the variable economic growth as the dependent variable. The population has a role in various economic activities. Not only on the production side, the population also affects the level of consumption of an item which can have an impact on the economic growth of a region. To determine the influence of population on the economic growth of Batang Hari Regency in 2012-2021, a simple linear regression analysis tool was used with the application of the t test with the aim of knowing whether the population variable had a partial effect or not on the economic growth variable. After processing the data and analyzing it, it can be concluded that based on the results of the t test, the population variable has a partial (partial) influence on economic growth. From the coefficient of determination, the Adjusted R Square value is 0.708. This means that the population affects economic growth by 72,2%. While 27,8% is influenced by other variables that are not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This research is based on the existing phenomena showing that employees have not been able to work optimally in a government agency. The purpose of this study was to find out and obtain a study about the effect of career development, work motivation and competence on employee performance. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a sample of 39 respondents, while the sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling. In this study, the independent variables consist of career development, work motivation and competence, while the dependent variable is employee performance. Testing the instrument using validity and reliability tests. While the method of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with t test, f test and R².

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, price and promotion on smartphone purchasing decisions at the Muara Bulian Zombri Cell Counter. The study was conducted quantitatively descriptive with the number of respondents as many as 68 people while the analysis used was multiple regression, partial test (t test), Simultaneous test (f test), and determination test (R2). The results showed that the independent variable that had the most influence on smartphone purchasing decisions was the price variable (X2) with tcount (10,969) then Promotion (X3) with tcount (8.973) and finally Brand Image (X1) with tcount (8.396). For Fcount = 101.212 > Ftable = 2.69 This means that together Brand Image, Price and Promotion affect consumer purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, seen from the coefficient of determination. Brand Image, Price and Promotion affect smartphone purchase decisions at the Zombri Cell Counter Muara Bulian by 73.4% and the remaining 26.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
