Abstract

The role of the press in Indonesisa experienced a shift in accordance with the historical development of the state and its political system, but the Indonesian press still has a character constant, namely socio-political commitment is strong. After experiencing difficult times in the New Order Release experienced a resurgence in the Reformation with the enactment of Law no. 40 of 1999 on the Press. The policy also has become a milestone in the birth of mass media at the local level such as the Daily Kabar Priangan in the City of Tasikmalaya, so authors are interested to take the title of Press and Politics: Studies Role Against City Daily PrianganTasikmalaya In Political Communication. The method used in this research is descriptive method kualititif phenomenology. Reasons used by the author using this research method because this method requires researchers to the subject of unification between supporters of the research. Qualitative research methodology based on phenomenology requires a holistic approach, mendudukan double object of research in construction, see the object in a natural context rather than partial. Thus, in this study researchers conducted in-depth interviews with informants.. At the local level, especially the City Tasikmalaya role of the press, especially in political communication is very important because the press can bridge the political communication between the Government and Society. Additionally press also must be able to function as social functions, entertainment, economic, supervision and monitoring and social control so that the press can be a pillar of democracy at the local level.

Abstract

Weak government control of sand mining business people showed weak governability Galunggung government. The government should be able memoderatori private competition that harm the public interest. Based on the realities on the ground, people are "fed up" with the exploitation of sand Galunggung who reap the negative effects, even in the long run fear it would remove the potential for community livelihoods.The government should immediately be able to control the business include reclaiming land that was unused. Data collection methods used in this field study using observation and documentation media. Analyses were performed by using descriptive method-interactive between one datum to another datum, and between the data with theory.

Abstract

Triggers weak performance and the morality of our politicians because of the presence of the business logic in the process of rooting kandidasi and political parties. Money seemed to be a single instrument to raise the party and gained a lot of voters. These frames influence the selection of the sources of political candidates and the quality of the bond with voters. It is also exacerbated by the political "hostages" in the election inspectors conducted by politicians for the sake of smooth stride play money in succession. Facts 2004 and 2009 elections show that the amount of money does not guarantee the competitiveness of candidates and political parties. Party is relatively new and limited pendanaanya able to compete and even overtake the party vote and affluent older funds. Because of that political parties and politicians should review the practice of politics in order to avoid the high cost of politics with disappointing results. To get there is important political party finance reform through the political revitalization of the party daily, diversify sources of financing political parties and strengthening the electoral watchdog.

Abstract

This study entitled "PERFORMANCE OF MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (Performance Studies Member of Legislative Assembly Perspective Public Opinion in the City Tasikmalaya)". The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth and obtain a descriptive about to find out public opinion on Parliament's performance in terms of the City Tasikmalaya resposivitas, reliability and accountability. The research method used was qualitative-descriptive, with the informant selection techniques using purposive sampling. Collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The method of analysis used is Interactive Analysis Model to the validity of data was tested using Trianggulasi Sources. The results showed that by looking at indicators of responsiveness, reliability, accountability and implementation of the functions of Parliament is seen that legislators Tasikmalaya City has not shown a good performance. When the members of the City Legislature Tasikmalaya showed good performance and the public quite satisfied with its performance then it did not rule on the coming election period they will be re-elected, but if this is the opposite then it is possible to describe the members of this council will be left and will not be selected again by the voters in the upcoming election period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and reveal empirically social, cultural and social life religious, the process of acculturation, social processes (the social system/form of cultural interaction and process systems / customs), the transition process in understanding the diversity of the community, as well as affect the public another model of socio-cultural life and religious communities susuru hamlet. Based on research results seem that Hamlet community Susuru maintain the philosophy of "Unity in Diversity" and the values contained in Pancasila even though theoretically they do not understand it. Dusun community Susuru feel that although their different religions and beliefs but meraka still feel that the other is the brother of a nation and a homeland. So they are in public life show mutual respect, appreciate and cherish. Society does not consider Susuru Hamlet Hamlet Susuru society that believes differently as enemies who should be shunned. National values like that that make one of the Dusun community life Susuru maintain a safe, peaceful and serene in the absence of conflict that could tear their divided.

Abstract

Paper highlights the fight elections in the District of South Sulawesi Jeneponto in 2008. Election 2008 was a battle between two major forces that exist in society which Karaeng Group (nobility) represented by Radjamilo, Agus Abdullah, and Djaini Lontang Syansuddin dealing with Zainal, Sonda Runtime, and Baharuddin Baso Tika groups representing Daeng. Brought together with the social background of each candidate pair them fight it out. Pucak of the fight then won Radjamilo of the nobility.
