AT TAWASUL: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Jurnal At Tawasul menyediakan tulisan bagi para praktisi dan akademisi untuk mengembangkan teori, penelitian empiris, dan memperkenalkan konsep-konsep baru di bidang komunikasi penyiaran Islam dan dakwah dalam perspektif yang luas. Jurnal ini membahas isu-isu aktual dalam studi komunikasi Islam, termasuk perkembangan dakwah kontemporer dengan memanfaatkan media, sistem informasi Islam, retorika, literatur, dan kebijakan pemerintah tentang penyiaran dan regulasi informasi. Tujuan dari jurnal ini adalah untuk mempromosikan berbagi pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang isu-isu komunikasi penyiaran Islam. Kemudian menerima donasi dari para ahli, peneliti, praktisi dan pembuat kebijakan di seluruh dunia. Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Agustus dan Februari.

Abstract

Mass communication has a wide area of space in people's lives, with the medium acting as mediator rather than these providing the various roles and functions of mass communication. Particularly in today's rapidly expanding media era, information is accessible very easily and very quickly. In this study, it focused on mass communication functions in KKN Di Desa Penari movie. Researchers use a kind of qualitative study by doing open library studies and interviews using questionnaires by taking 30 persons as sources by category 11 men, and 19 women. From the data collection, there are a number of mass communication functions in KKN Di Desa Penari movie, which is: entertainment function, education function, information function, and persuasion (affecting).

Abstract

Culture cannot be separated from communication activities, because without cultural communication it will not work well. Culture has been passed down to the next generation from generation to generation and will be connected because of communication or the success of cultural communication. This study aims to describe in detail about the Determination of Good Days in Marriage in Sambidoplang Village, Tulungagung City. The focus of this research is on the communication process and the meaning of symbols that exist in the process of determining auspicious days in marriage. This study uses Clifford Geertz's theory of communication symbols. The method used in this research is the ethnographic method. The use of ethnographic methods will provide a way for researchers to find out in detail about the culture and traditions of the Sambidoplang community of Tulungagung City as the object of the author's research. The results of this study indicate that the communication process in determining a good day before carrying out a marriage is sacred while still carrying out the stages and rituals that must be carried out sequentially. So that gave birth to several symbols of communication, namely verbal and non-verbal. Verbal communication used to interact uses Javanese as the language commonly used by local people and non-verbal communication symbols in every wedding event in the form of traditional rituals that must be carried out. The conclusion from this research is that the people of Sambidoplang Village understand and follow all the stages that are believed to have a good impact on future marriages

Abstract

As a media provider of information, each radio has its own concept in carrying out its broadcast format. As in Indonesia, there are many radios with various broadcast formats with multi-segment listeners. Radio Seila FM Batam has a general broadcast format, in the sense of combining entertainment, news and music in one broadcast format with Islamic religious nuances. It turns out that in a few years, the program that is most in demand by listeners is the program "Topik Berita Pagi". The announcer of the program "Topik Berita Pagi" has a significant role in the process of developing and delivering information to listeners. The character that is built and prepared by the announcer in order to attract listeners is done professionally and creatively. This study aims to determine the creativity of the announcer of the program "Topik Berita Pagi". The qualitative method used is descriptive phenomenology based on Husserl's philosophy. This descriptive phenomenology is used to develop the structure of the broadcaster's life experience in collaboration with the news program team who is responsible for preparing all news broadcast content with a duration of about 90 minutes. It can be seen that the most prominent creative announcer characters from this program are; Have adequate vocal quality, reliable in adlibbing and script reading, up-to-date and broad in knowledge, deep understanding of radio segments, showing sympathy and empathy for listeners, able to generate fresh and solution ideas, Able to work in a team and "Be Your Self". At a radio station, a creative announcer who brings an event certainly has strategic value. Because the latest news is packaged in such a way, delivered to the listeners very well and interestingly, causing a positive response from the listeners. This will be useful in radio's efforts to maintain its existence in the broadcasting world

Abstract

Media conglomeration is a real form of media political economy, where the commodification of information becomes a very profitable business. However, lately the media business is also hobbled to face an advertising tariff war with social media. However, the closeness of the big media owners with the power circle makes the media only as a tool to receive concessions or rewards that benefit the media owner's business. Thus, revenue from advertising can be excluded, but other businesses are still on the way to sustain their media business. This relationship also encourages the growth of the media with reporting that is not critical of the abuses of power by the government and their cronies. Even the media is a tool to strengthen the hegemony of power that works as soft power to cut people's critical reasoning

Abstract

Da'wah is an activity carried out by every Muslim religious leader in conveying Islamic law contained in both the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. In conveying this revelation, usually not every person who equates it needs expertise and skills in conveying it, especially requiring a deep understanding of religion in each of the contents of the message. The existence of the role of the mass media facilitates the delivery of messages that used to be orally orally to be not limited by distance and time. New media is not only done for negative things. New media can also act as positive media, especially in spreading goodness through da'wah. The media that is often used in this modern era is social media. Social media is a communication medium that almost all people in the world use. This new media used for preaching also functions as a public space. Information containing Islamic religious values ​​created by these da'i can be responded to directly by mad'u, so that public space can be created in the new media. Social media, which is included as a new media, has a positive impact in spreading goodness. Da'wah using this new media has a significant role in increasing mad'u motivation. The da'i's creativity in using this new media attracted the interest of mad'u to want to apply Islamic values ​​in their lives.

Abstract

Development Communication Model In Strategic Development Program Economist idan Institutional Kampung (PROSPEK) In Enggros Villung Village Abepura District Jayapura City, This research is motivated by strategic program of economic development and institutional of kampung (Prospek) conducted in Papua Province in the year 2014. Particularly in Enggros Village. The purpose of this research is to know the development communication model in the prospect used for the successful implementation of Prospect in Kampung Enggros. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research form. Based on the result of research indicate that the development communication model in Prospect in Kampung Enggros starts from planning stage, implementation stage, utilization of result, and stage of controlling, monitoring and evaluation.
